A New Place To Thrive

(Intro stolen from Metagame Discussion)
Introduction:

CAP revisions have gone live on the server, and so now we can begin playing the CAP metagame again. It doesn't take long to get acquainted with it again, but up 'til now we haven't really had any place to discuss the CAP metagame, how we feel about it, and what we think that we should do to manage it.

This isn't a PR or anything, this is just a place for people to discuss what they play, much like we have in any other tier's forum on-site. Now, it is a well-known fact that some Pokemon are much better / worsein CAP than they are in OU. This thread can serve as a place for you to post what Pokemon you think got nerfed/boosted in CAP. This thread has a little overlap with the threat list, but that's outdated.

Boosted Pokemon

Cresselia
Cresselia really got a boost in the CAP Metagame. Being able to beat Revanankh, Arghonaut, and even Stratagem coupled with the lack of Tyranitars due to Soil really make it a top tier CAP Pokemon.

Togekiss
Crobat
Gyarados
Metagross
Moltres

Nerfed Pokemon

Machamp
Machamp really has fallen in the CAP Metagame. Having two reliable switch-ins not named Slowbro has really hurt it (Revanankh and Cyclohm if you were wondering) and the omnipresence of Revanankh has really just hurt all OU Fighting types.

Scizor
Forretress
Tyranitar
Rotom-A
Lucario

Your Turn:

What do you guys think? Those who have played the metagame know a lot about what Pokemon are better in CAP, worse in CAP, and are neither better or worse in CAP. If this thread works out, we might even be able to make a new CAP threat list!

just saying "nerfing" something is purposefully making it weaker because it's too powerfull
the changes are usually done to the thing being nerfed

Add in a boost for Togekiss

Togekiss is a counter to Revenankh, Arghonaut, and Voodoom while a check to Pyroak, Syclant (given no SR on your side), and Fidgit (Fidgit can set up, but it will die after a few Air Slashes).

Not only that, but Voodoom and Togekiss make okay teammates. Revenankh and Togekiss are pretty good together with their high Special Defenses.

put scizor and lucario on the bad list, obviously. forretress, tyranitar, and rotom-a too.

on the strong list: crobat, gyarados, metagross, and moltres.

Are you seeing a pattern?

Psychic and Flying types got a boost, because a bunch of CAPs are fighting typed.

Said Captain Obvious.

What about Yanmega? Ground immunities are always a plus.

Yanmega is a counter to Revenankh, Arghonaut, and Voodoom while a check to Pyroak, Syclant (given no SR on your side), and Fidgit (Fidgit can set up, but it will die after a few Air Slashes).
Except it actually resists fighting and is raped by SR.
