A Team In Need [OU RMT]

Introduction
This is a team I recently made, I think I rushed and it needs alot of help. Please tell me any ways on how to improve it.

Team In-Depth
392qp0.png

Infernape @ Focus Sash
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 64 Atk / 252 SpA / 192 Spe
Naive Nature (-SpDef, +Spd)
→Fake Out
→Stealth Rock
→Fire Blast
→Close Combat

Comments : LeadApe rarely fails to get the rocks up, Fake out destroys the Sashes of Pokemon like Azelf and Aerodactyl. Close Combat/Fire Blast provides a STAB combo that can let him deal some damage. I'm considering going with Encore over Close Combat/Fake Out maybe but I'm not so sure at the moment.

Latias.png

Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature (-Atk, +Spd)
→Draco Meteor
→Surf
→HP Fire / Thunderbolt

→Trick

Comments : SpecsLatias fits reasonably well into this team, it can switch in without fear on any ground attacks aimed at Infernape as well as Water attacks usually. Specs Draco Meteor hurts anything that doesn't resist it. HP Fire is its main weapon against Steel-types like Scizor. Surf is mainly for Tyranitar as its one of Latias's main problems, if I can hit it in on the switch-in I can beat it but in most cases I lose. Trick is mainly for Blissey, Tricking Specs onto it hurts its walling capabilites alot.

233.png

Porygon-2 @ Leftovers
Ability: Trace
EVs: 252 HP / 216 Def / 40 SpAtk
Bold Nature (-Atk, +Def)
→Thunderbolt
→Ice Beam
→Recover

→Thunder Wave

Comments : I needed someone that handles both Mence and Gyarados and I turned to this little thing. With Trace he turns their own abilities against them while he hits their 4x weakness. He's also useful for using switching in on Vaporeon and Heatran absorbing their STAB attacks. He also provides paralysis support.

448bpk5.png

Lucario @ Life Orb
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SpAtk)
→Swords Dance
→Crunch
→Close Combat

→Extremespeed

Comments : SDLuke is a monster, after an SD he can deal alot of damage. I can rely on him to take Ice Shards aimed at Latias usually but mostly he comes in after something has died.
121Starmie.png

Starmie @ Light Clay
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 200 Def / 56 Spe
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
→Reflect
→Surf
→Recover
→Light Screen

Comments : I need something that could take Water-attacks aimed at Infernape reasonably well and also a Fighting resist. Starmie came to mind and I decided to run the Support set with Light Screen added in. 56 Speed EV's allow him to outrun base neutral 90's, the rest was poured into defenses so he took hits better. He sets up dual screens to make it easier for Lucario to set up as well as generally helping the team out.

373Salamence.png

Salamence @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 80 Atk / 252 SpAtk / 176 Spe
Rash Nature (+SpAtk, -SpD)
→Brick Break
→Fire Blast
→Draco Meteor
→Roost

Comments : Salamence is my wall-breaker, this team doesn't fare too well against stall and I needed a good mixed sweeper and he came to mind. He can switch in on any Ground attacks aimed at Infernape and Lucario easily and he packs one hell of a punch. 176 Speed EV's allow him to beat Base 90's.

Changes
-Added in Salamence over Scizor.

Threat List [Borrowed from Unholy Calamity]
------------------------------------------------------------------
  • Green means they are not a problem for me.
  • Orange means they can cause a bit of trouble.
  • Red means they are very difficult to take down.

Offensive Threats
dpiconani142.gif
Aerodactyl : Usually doesn't cause much problem, Ape takes out his Sash with Fake Out and does good damage with Close Combat. It isn't getting past Starmie either.
---
dpiconani065.gif
Alakazam :
Alakazam is quite a problem, he outspeeds everyone and hits everyone for a OHKO. However Lucario's Extremespeed does 83% minimium and 97% maximium so he can usually save me.
---
dpiconani482.gif
Azelf :
Leads lose to Infernape(Fake Out/Fire Blast), sweeper sets are more tricky but Starmie can set up Light Screen and its easier to pick off then.
---
dpiconani286.gif
Breloom :
Never had much trouble with this, most sets are killed off by Salamence/Latias.
---
dpiconani149.gif
Dragonite :
Outspeed and picked off by Latias and Mence. Starmie can take mostly whatever he throws and can set up Reflect which then Porygon-2 can come in without fear.
---
dpiconani051.gif
Dugtrio :
Porygon-2 can Ice Beam it and it really can't hurt it much in return. Starmie can set up Reflect and then Surf it.
---
dpiconani466.gif
Electivire :
Not too hard, Latias outspeed and KO's and I haven't actually seen any of these anymore.
---
dpiconani395.gif
Empoleon :
Hate this thing, SubPetaya causes me alot of pain late-game and Agility LOEmpoleon causes me some grief as well.
---
dpiconani330.gif
Flygon :
This causes me some hassle. I usually rely on Porygon-2 to handle him as he can take anything he throws at him.
---
dpiconani094.gif
Gengar :
This is a major problem, the Standard set rips through my team and I really need to cover this weak.
---
dpiconani130.gif
Gyarados :
Doesn't scare me too bad, P2 can take him down even when he's got a DD. Starmie takes anything he throws at it pretty well. Still something I watch out for.
---
dpiconani485.gif
Heatran :
Infernape/Latias/Mence handle the non-Scarf versions pretty well. ScarfTran can be handled by prediction with Starmie/Latias and P2 can absorb his Fre Blasts(thanks to Trace)
---
dpiconani214.gif
Heracross :
Nasty thing, this thing packs a punch. Latias can outspeed and OHKO with Draco Meteor and Ape can Fire Blast it but Jolly variants hurt my team badly.
---
dpiconani392.gif
Infernape :
Latias outspeeds and KO's, Starmie can take some variants. Hasn't been a hassle.
---
dpiconani135.gif
Jolteon :
Bit of a problem to be honest, P2 can copy his ability and Jolteon would have to use Hidden Power but P2 can't do much to him either.
---
dpiconani230.gif
Kingdra :
After a DD, he poses a problem however P2 can take a +1 Outrage and TWave him making it useless. Mixed rain sets hurt quite a bit as well.
---
dpiconani380.gif
Latias :
I haven't had much problem with her but I can see the problem. She does outspeed and KO alot of my team.
---
dpiconani448.gif
Lucario :
Without an SD its not a problem however if it does and runs Crunch I'm in trouble. If it runs Ice Punch, Starmie can hurt it with Surf or set up Reflect.
---
dpiconani068.gif
Machamp :
Latias/Salamence's Draco Meteors do alot off damage to him and its usually enough to bring him down.
---
dpiconani462.gif
Magnezone:
Not a problem at all, can predict around Scarf-variants and normal variants are picked off by Mence/Latias/Luke.
---
dpiconani473.gif
Mamoswine :
Infernape beats Lead-variants and Starmie beats all other variants.
---
dpiconani376.gif
Metagross :
Agiligross is a problem but most variants Starmie can wall. Problem is Starmie can't really hurt it either. Mence does pretty well with Fire Blast.
---
dpiconani474.gif
Porygon-Z :
I haven't seen one of these for months, outspeed by Latias/Mence/Luke/Ape and KO'ed. Scarf versions can be outpredicted. Extremespeed from Luke does alot as well.
---
dpiconani464.gif
Rhyperior :
Not a problem really and everything on this team hits it for super-eefective damage. Sooner or later it'll die.
---
dpiconani373.gif
Salamence :
P2 handles all variants bar Specs and Mixmence and Latias can outspeed those and KO them.
---
dpiconani212.gif
Scizor :
Problem, SDZor rips this team to shreds. if I can get an Reflect up with Starmie Mence and Latias can handle it. Need a check...
---

dpiconani468.gif
Togekiss :
Latias/Mence can deal massive damage with Draco Meteor(usually a KO after SR) plus P2 has Tbolt.
---
dpiconani248.gif
Tyranitar :
Infernape/Lucario/Mence can all threaten it and one with a DD can be paralyzed by P2.
---
dpiconani461.gif
Weavile :
Not much of a problem. Infernape can usually break its Sash with Fake Out and Lucario does tonnes of damage with Extremespeed.
---

Conclusion
I feel this team is lacking somewhat, I really think I should replace Starmie/Porygon-2 as they don't seem to fit in all that well. I'll take any suggestions.

You've already picked up on most of the main problems that you're going to have in Gengar, Scizor and Empoleon. However, MixMence should be a pretty big concern, as you only have one steel type, and Lucario isn't going to like taking a Draco Meteor.
The only real issue that I have with the team its self is Porygon. While he makes for a great way of covering a few of the big weaknesses that you'd otherwise have, I don't really think it's necesarry, as you can cover the same pokemon that Porygon counters with a few minor tweaks to the rest of your team.

Giving Latias a Choice Scarf (speaking of which, you've forgotten to list what item Latias has) would allow you to revenge kill Gyarados, Salamence, Kingdra, Jolteon, Gengar, Empoleon and Alakazam, so basically pretty much everything that Porygon does, and a few more that currently give you trouble for good measure. The moveset you currently have is fine.
Seeing as Scarf Latias means Porygon is no longer necesarry, you can replace him with a steel type to help deal with dragons, MixMence in particular, after which pretty much all of your problems will be dealt with.
There's a number of pokemon that could work as your steel type, the most obvious one being CB Scizor, who can fit into just about any team, and would work pretty well with Lucario, as U-turn + Stealth Rock helps to weaken his counters. Alternatively, a mixed Jirachi with an Expert Belt/Leftovers and either Iron Head/Fire Punch/Ice Punch/Thunderbolt, or Iron Head/Psychic/Grass Knot/Thunderbolt would work well, as even without EV investment, Jirachi takes dragon attacks reasonably well, while also functioning as a great lure for a lot of the pokemon that give Lucario trouble (RestTalk Gyarados in particular).
However, Jirachi may end up leading to a bit of redundancy with Salamence. If you test Jirachi and find that Salamence is no longer necesarry, you could try something in place of Mence, but they should work decently together.
It's worth noting that Scizor and Jirachi are both reasonably good Gengar checks, as long as you watch out for HP Fire in Scizor's case, so that's another problem dealt with.

The only other problem I can think of is Swords Dance Lucario, as once one gets a SD off, you're running a pretty big risk of getting swept. Mence makes a reasonable check due to Intimidate, although he's going to be taking 60.42% - 71.30%from a +1 Extremespeed, so factoring in Stealth Rock and previous Life Orb recoil, it's a pretty risky counter. Similarly, Starmie takes 79.06% - 93.16% from a +2 Extremespeed, so you're pretty much required to sacrifice Mence for the Intimidate in order to deal with Lucario.
You can probably just about get away with what you have already, but I thought I should point out Lucario as a potential threat.

Otherwise, the team looks fairly solid. If you test out some of these changes, let me know and I'll give it another rate. I hope this helped, and good luck with the team.
