Kyogre @ Leftovers
Ability: Drizzle
EVs: 240 HP / 244 Def / 24 SpA
Modest Nature
- Surf
- Calm Mind
- Ice Beam
- Thunder Wave

Kyogre is making a wave in ADV Ubers, splashing its way into the competitive scene! Using Calm Mind and Thunder Wave to break through its checks with rain-boosted Surfs, Kyogre can rip through weakened teams like a knife through butter. Kyogre's bulk EVs allow it to live a +2 Groudon Earthquake. Ice Beam, alongside Surf, gives Kyogre near perfect coverage, letting it nail common Water-resistant Pokemon like Latios and Latias. Thunder Wave lets Kyogre put its phenomenal bulk to full use by crippling faster Pokemon like Latios and Latias to eventually beat them with Calm Mind. However, the almighty God of the Sea is unable to break past Blissey effectively, so partnering it up with physical attackers like Deoxys-A and Metagross is a good idea. Forretress is an exceptional partner, as it can stack Spikes to slowly wear down Kyogre's checks and remove the opponent's Spikes, increasing Kyogre's longevity. Lastly, stray Thunders from Mewtwo and opposing Kyogre can easily break Kyogre down, so Blissey, Snorlax, Latios, and Latias serve as great teammates.

Kyogre is making a wave in ADV Ubers, splashing its way onto into the competitive scene! Using both Calm Mind and Thunder Wave to break through its checks with Rain boosted rain-boosted Surfs, Kyogre rips can rip through weakened teams like a knife through butter. Kyogre's bulk The given EVs allow it Kyogre to live a boosted (boosted by what, exactly? +2? soft sand? a poggers muscle band? say what is boosting the quake. Just replace the word 'boosted' with the boost itself.) Groudon Earthquake, and retaliate back. Ice Beam, (add comma) alongside Surf forms, (add comma) gives Kyogre near perfect coverage, letting Kyogre it nail common Water-type resists Water-resistant Pokemon like Latios and Latias. Thunder Wave lets Kyogre to put its phenomenal bulk to full use, (remove comma) by crippling faster Pokemon like Latios and Latias to its level, and alongside letting Calm Mind letting it beat them in the long term to eventually beat them with Calm Mind (sorry for the big rewrite here, but it was worded very messily before. PM me if you want to reword this on your own or I am not getting a point across that you meant for, and I'll check it over). However, the allmighty almighty God of the Sea is unable to break past Blissey effectively, so partnering it up with Pokemon physical attackers like Deoxys-A and Metagross that can abuse Blissey is a good idea. Forretress is an exceptional partner, as it can stack Spikes for Kyogre to slowly wear down its Kyogre's checks to break past them easier, as well as and remove the opponent's Spikes on Kyogre's side prolonging its prescence, (add comma) increasing Kyogre's longevity (I was not able to make "prolonging its presence" work, sadly). Lastly, stray Thunders from Mewtwo and opposing Kyogre can easily break Kyogre down, so Blissey, Snorlax, Latios, and Latias serve as great teammates.
