[SET COMMENTS]
Thanks to its ability Magic Guard combined with its stellar Speed stat and a Focus Sash, Alakazam performs the role of a revenge killer for Psychic-type teams. It also has a high Special Attack stat, which lets it hit hard against Pokemon such as Hydreigon, Tyranitar, and Ferrothorn with its coverage moves. Counter in combination with Focus Sash and Magic Guard helps Alakazam beat threatening physical attackers like Sharpedo, Cinderace, and Excadrill. Expanding Force is its STAB move of choice and is boosted to crazy levels in Psychic Terrain, letting Alakazam OHKO Pokemon like Azumarill and Dracovish after minor chip damage. It can also 2HKO Pokemon like Scizor and Araquanid if they switch in against it. Dazzling Gleam can be used to beat Dark- and Dragon-type Pokemon like Crawdaunt, Urshifu, and Hydreigon. Shadow Ball lets Alakazam do good damage to Pokemon weak to it like Aegislash and Alolan Raichu. Focus Blast, on the other hand, lets Alakazam threaten Ferrothorn and Tyranitar, which can stomach its other moves easily. Alakazam should not take any unnecessary damage that may result from directly switching it into opposing Pokemon, as they may leave it unable to retain its Focus Sash. Also, it should be preserved in matchups against Bug- and Dark-type teams where it is needed to take on threats like Scolipede and Sharpedo. Maximum Special Attack investment optimizes Alakazam's overall damage output. Maximum Speed investment with a Timid nature lets it outspeed comparably fast Pokemon such as Cinderace and Salazzle.

Alakazam's teammates appreciate its role as a revenge killer being able to take on problematic Pokemon. Teammates like Choice Specs Indeedee-M and Nasty Plot Mew can wallbreak opposing foes, making Alakazam's job easier as a revenge killer late-game. Indeedee-M is a notable teammate, as it provides it with Ghost-type immunity and Psychic Terrain support, making the team immune to threatening priority moves like Sucker Punch and Shadow Sneak from Pokemon like Bisharp, Aegislash, and Mimikyu, allowing Alakazam to deal with such threats much better. Nasty Plot Mew, meanwhile, can take care of the Steel-type matchup by taking on Pokemon like Corviknight and Ferrothorn that may be an obstacle for Alakazam late-game. Support teammates like Orbeetle and Celebi provide Sticky Web and Stealth Rock support, enabling Alakazam to outspeed faster Pokemon like Choice Scarf Gengar and score easier KO with Expanding Force against Azumarill under Psychic Terrain. Pokemon like Slowbro can spread paralysis and bring Alakazam onto the field safely with Teleport, acting as a defensive pivot for the team. Choice Scarf users like Gardevoir and Jirachi are good teammates, as the former can deal with weather sweepers like Kingdra, Barraskewda, and Excadrill, while the latter does a good job against Fairy- and Ice-type teams, beating Pokemon like Cloyster, which can otherwise beat Alakazam with its multi-hit moves especially after Shell Smash boost. Hatterene and Alakazam form a great core against offensive types like Dark, Dragon, and Electric where Hatterene can break teams with its defensive Calm Mind set, letting Alakazam clean up late-game.

- I'm more in favor of having Gleam slashed over Shadow Ball with how prominent Dark offense is at the moment; change information accordingly.
- Optional, but Nasty Plot can also be mentioned as an alternative move.
- Specify type matchups where Alakazam would be preserved for (Bug for Scolipede, Dark for Sharpedo, etc.)
- Add Slowbro.
- I think you meant to add a period at the end between "Shell Smash boost(.) Hatterene and Alakazam...". Add it; reads oddly otherwise.

either do hasty with 0 def ivs or just do no 0 def ivs, also if you're going to have counter in the set name reorder the moves so that counter is in slot 1. i think focus sash is good enough as a name though

Thanks to its ability Magic Guard, negating any form of residual damage combined with Focus Sash and its stellar Speed stat, Alakazam performs the role of a revenge killer for Psychic-type teams. Dazzling Gleam can be used to beat Dark- and Dragon-type Pokemon like Crawdaunt Mandibuzz, Urshifu, and Hydreigon would say something about how it beats darks more reliably than focus blast since focus already beats darks. Shadow Ball lets Alakazam do good damage to Pokemon weak to it like Aegislash, and Alolan Raichu. Focus Blast on the other hand, lets Alakazam threaten Ferrothorn, and Tyranitar which can stomach other moves easily. Counter in combination with Focus Sash and Magic Guard ability helps Alakazam beat threatening physical attackers like Sharpedo, Cinderace, and Excadrill. Maximum Special Attack investment optimizes Alakazam's overall damage output. Maximum Speed investment with a Timid nature lets it outspeed slower Pokemon such as Cinderace and SalazzleScolipede. (if you want u can use something else over lazzle but pede isnt a great example considering speed boost)

Support teammates like Orbeetle and Celebi provide Sticky Web and Stealth Rock support, enabling Alakazam to outspeed faster Pokemon like Choice Scarf Gengar and have easier time landing KOs are there any huge examples of kos for rocks? rocks should only be listed if there's a notable example to them for the mon. It also has a high Special Attack stat which lets it hit hard to Pokemon such as Hydreigon, Tyranitar and Ferrothorn with its coverage moves. Counter in combination with Focus Sash and Magic Guard ability [BREAK] helps lets Alakazam beat survive any one hit, even through hazards and status, and KO threatening physical attackers like Sharpedo, Cinderace, and Excadrill. Expanding Force is its STAB move which is boosted to crazy levels in Psychic Terrain, (Add Comma) which Psychic teams should set anyway, (Add Comma) (I assume this is true) letting it to OHKO Pokemon like Azumarill and Dracovish after minor chip damage. It can also 2HKO Pokemon like Scizor and Araquanid if they switch in against it. Dazzling Gleam can be used to beat Dark- and Dragon-type Pokemon like Crawdaunt, Urshifu-S, and Hydreigon. Shadow Ball lets Alakazam do good damage to Pokemon weak to it like Aegislash, (Remove Comma) and Alolan Raichu. Focus Blast on the other hand, (Remove Comma) lets Alakazam threaten Ferrothorn, (Remove Comma) and Tyranitar, (Add Comma) which can stomach its other moves easily. Alakazam should not take any unnecessary damage that may result from directly switching it into opposing Pokemon as they may leave it unable to retain its Focus Sash not risk breaking its Focus Sash by directly switching into foes that could damage it. [BREAK] Also it should be preserved in This is especially true in matchups against Bug- and Dark-type teams where it is needed to take on threats like Scolipede and Sharpedo. Maximum Special Attack investment optimizes Alakazam's overall damage output. Entirety of Psychic-type teams benefit from Alakazam's role as a revenge killer being able to take on problematic Pokemon for the type. All of Alakazam's teammates benefit from its ability to eliminate specific threats and revenge kill, but some teammates especially help it in return. [BREAK] Teammates like Choice Specs Indeedee-M and Nasty Plot Mew can wallbreak opposing teams, making Alakazam's job easier as a revenge killer easier late-game. Indeedee is a notable teammate as it provides it with Ghost-type immunity and Psychic Terrain support making the team immune to threatening priority moves like Sucker Punch and Shadow Sneak from Pokemon like Bisharp, Aegislash and Mimikyu allowing Alakazam to deal with such threats much better. of either gender provides a Ghost-type immunity and Psychic Terrain, strengthening the Expanding Force of Alakazam and its teammates, and giving immunity to priority moves to buffer Alakazam against threats like Bisharp, Aegislash, and Mimikyu. While Nasty Plot Mew, (Add Comma) meanwhile, (Add Comma) can improve the Steel-type matchup by taking on Pokemon like Corviknight and Ferrothorn that may be obstacles for Alakazam late-game. Support teammates like Orbeetle and Celebi provide Sticky Web and Stealth Rock support, enabling Alakazam to outspeed even faster Pokemon like Choice Scarf Gengar. (Is Stealth Rock especially helpful for Alakazam in particular? If yes, you should say specifically why. If not, you don't need to mention a rock-setter just because they set rocks.) [BREAK] Defensive Pokemon like Slowbro can spread Paralysis paralyze the rare Pokemon faster than Alakazam or bring Alakazam in safely using Teleport and act as a defensive pivot for the team. Choice Scarf users like Gardevoir and Jirachi are good teammates, (Add Comma) as the former can deal with weather sweepers that outspeed Alakazam like Kingdra, Barraskewda and Excadrill, (Add Comma) [BREAK] (***). Hatterene and Alakazam forms a great core with Alakazam against offensive teams like Dark-, Dragon-, and Electric-type teams, [BREAK] as Hatterene can wallbreak with its defensive Calm Mind set letting to let Alakazam clean up late-game.

(***) [the latter does a good job against Fairy- and Ice-type teams, beating Pokemon like Cloyster which can otherwise beat Alakazam with its multi-hit moves especially after Shell Smash boost.]

Pick whichever of these is most accurate to replace the above piece. "The latter" means Scarf Jirachi in context, if that was unclear.

and the latter does well against Fairy- and Ice-type teams that Alakazam struggles with, specifically beating Cloyster whose multi-hit moves ignore Alakazam's Focus Sash.

and the latter does a good job against fast Pokemon with multi-hit moves that ignore Alakazam's Focus Sash, such as Shell Smash Cloyster.

and the latter does a good job against Pokemon with multi-hit moves that ignore Alakazam's Focus Sash, such as Cloyster.

and the latter helps against specific Pokemon that Alakazam struggles with, such as Cloyster and (give another example here).
