Alakazam @ Focus Sash
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psych Up
- Psyshock
- Dazzling Gleam
- Focus Blast
Using this set, Alakazam is psyched up to revenge sweep! Psych Up allows Alakazam to copy the boosts of threatening sweepers such as Volcarona and Galarian Moltres.
(If possible, condense the first 2 sentences. Also its Reverse sweep, not revenge sweep iirc) Psych Up into Psyshock allows it to OHKO Volcarona after it has set up. Dazzling Gleam is used to OHKO Galarian Moltres and proceed to reverse sweep most Flying and Dark teams at +4.
(Realistically, its not sweeping flying/dark as Fly usually should have a scarfer/steel birb, while Dark has Weavile + Scarfer. Maybe tone down the hype? Also, it does not OHKO Volcarona: +1 252 SpA Alakazam Psyshock vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Volcarona: 285-336 (91.6 - 108%) -- 50% chance to OHKO, but saying it cleanly revenge kills it or something would be better) Focus Blast is used to 1v1 Steel-types like Excadrill and Specially Defensive Heatran
(The odds of Alakazam killing spdef Heatran are quite low. You have to hit 2 Focus Misses, and get both high rolls. Its better to choose Dark types like Bisharp, Zarude, or even Tyranitar as appropriate targets instead).
(Also, add that sash lets it be an emergency out vs stuff, aside from the Special setup sweepers you mentioned) Tapu Lele and
Indeedee(I think Indeedee might be too niche for now) are great teammates for Alakazam, as they can prevent revenge killers such as Bisharp and Mamoswine from revenge killing it. Slowbro and Galarian Slowking function as amazing teammates for it, as they can allow foes like Volcarona and Galarian Moltres to setup on them to pave the way for Alakazam to copy their boosts and reverse sweep, In addition, they also give the team a means to deal with faster foes like Choice Scarf Heatran, Choice Scarf Excadrill, and Choice Scarf Urshifu-R.
(These sentences feels super iffy for me, as G.King can actually run psyshock/fish poison via sludge bomb to win 1v1 vs Roost-less Volcarona. I think this [allow foes to setup on them] should not be worded like that, but Idk how to tone that thought down. Aside from that tho, you can also tell that Slowbro deals with multihitters like Shifu/weevil [lets you preserve your sash for the opportune moment], pivots it in safely [lets it keep its sash and remain to be a strong offensive mon outside of the volcarona mu], aside from checking those fast meanies. Also, add Victini, it deals with Aegislash [which this set doesn't], wears down heatran, pivots, and is cute. Glowking deals with Aegis too, btw...the SubTox one, at least)
