[SET COMMENTS]
While it has less Speed and worse coverage than its competitor Silvally-Fairy, Calm Mind and Recover grant Alcremie greater staying power than any other Fairy-type in RU. Its bulk and access to reliable recovery also greatly assist it with setting up on more passive threats, such as Jellicent and Vaporeon. Alcremie can switch in on dangerous Fighting-type STAB moves from Pokemon like Scrafty and Passimian while threatening them with STAB Dazzling Gleam. However, Alcremie is totally unable to break through frequently used counters such as Toxic Charizard, and Curse Snorlax, so it requires lots of team support to successfully sweep. Mystical Fire complements Dazzling Gleam by threatening Steel-types and Vileplume; however, Psyshock can be used to hit Poison-types such as Salazzle and Weezing while giving Alcremie some way to damage Fire-types like Charizard. Both of these will also allow Alcremie to threaten Vileplume. The given EV spread lets Alcremie outspeed maximum Speed Adamant Rhydon, while the rest of the EVs are added to Defense to increase Alcremie's physical bulk as much as possible, allowing it to take standard Bewear's Double-Edge. However, an alternative EV spread of 224 HP / 60 Def / 224 Spe can be used to avoid a 2HKO from Passimian's Earthquake after Stealth Rock while outspeeding and threatening Bewear. Babiri Berry can be used over Leftovers for a better matchup against Silvally-Steel, allowing Alcremie to take one Multi-Attack and 2HKO with Mystical Fire at +1. Aroma Veil is used over Sweet Veil to ensure Alcremie cannot be stopped by Encore or Taunt, which could ruin a sweep.

Snorlax greatly appreciates Alcremie's ability to check Fighting-types such as Scrafty and Passimian well. In return, Snorlax can more effectively handle the Fire-types that give Alcremie trouble, like Salazzle and Charizard. Alcremie can have issues getting onto the field, so VoltTurn users such as Passimian, Decidueye, and Rotom-C can greatly assist. Alcremie is crippled by Toxic, so running a Heal Bell user like Vaporeon is recommended. Bulky Water-types such as Jellicent and Vaporeon are also useful for their ability to check Steel-types such as Copperajah and help against Fire-type threats such as Charizard, which can check Alcremie. Alternatively, a Ground-type such as Mudsdale can be used. Alcremie also pairs well with Indeedee-M for the latter's ability to beat Poison-types that it struggles with, as well as cripple Snorlax with Trick.

[SET COMMENTS]
Alcremie can also function as a niche wallbreaker in RU, by virtue of a very high Special Attack stat. However, it has significant competition with Silvally-Fairy for this role. Thanks to its fair special bulk, Alcremie is also capable of checking specially offensive threats, such as Rotom. Mystical Fire augments this, improving its matchup against certain special attackers like Vileplume and Rotom-C while beating Steel-types such as Silvally-Steel and Steelix. Psyshock ensures that Poison-types such as Toxicroak and Salazzle can't safely switch in, which Alcremie otherwise struggles with. Access to Recover allows Alcremie to potentially win stall wars against Pokemon such as Jellicent and Vaporeon. Maximum Speed investment allows Alcremie to outrun Bewear and threaten an OHKO with STAB Dazzling Gleam. Pixie Plate can be used to boost Alcremie's Fairy moves without recoil, notably still securing the OHKOs on Passimian after Stealth Rock and on Bewear, at the cost of making its other moves substantially weaker.

Sticky Web support from Galvantula and Vikavolt assists Alcremie in wallbreaking by remedying its middling Speed. They can also assist Alcremie in breaking through bulky Water-types that Alcremie struggles with, such as Vaporeon and Jellicent, and can provide momentum with Volt Switch. Rotom-C can complement Alcremie well, as Alcremie tends to offer a switch-in to Pokemon that threaten it, such as Steelix and Copperajah. Steel- and Psychic-type Pokemon like Steelix, Copperajah, and Indeedee-M can also alleviate Alcremie's issues with Poison-types, with Steelix also helping with Alcremie's horrible physical bulk by checking threats such as Braviary, Copperajah, and Silvally-Fairy. Alcremie is crippled by Toxic, as it cuts off its longevity, so Heal Bell Vaporeon is also a recommended partner. Pokemon such as Drampa and Snorlax also appreciate Alcremie's ability to break their Fighting-type threats, such as Scrafty.

With access to Calm Mind and Recover, Alcremie is capable of having formidable staying power should its checks be removed. This also greatly assists it with setting up on more passive threats, such as Claydol Jellicent (jelli doesn't commonly run toxic, whereas claydol does) and Vaporeon. Alcremie can switch in on otherwise deadly attacks such as Passimian's Close Combat dangerous Fighting-type STAB moves from Pokemon like Scrafty and Passimian while threatening with STAB Dazzling Gleam. Mystical Fire also compounds this while removing threats complements Dazzling Gleam by threatening Fairy-resistant targets such as Steelix and Silvally-Steel, though Psyshock can be used instead to remove would-be counters such as Salazzle. Both of these will allow Alcremie to threaten Vileplume. The given EV spread lets Alcremie outspeed maximum Speed neutral natured Adamant Rhydon, while the rest of the EVs are added to Defense to increase Alcremie's physical bulk as much as possible, taking standard Bewear's Double-Edge. However, an alternative EV spread of 224 HP / 60 Def / 224 Spe can be used to avoid a 2HKO from Passimian's Earthquake after Stealth Rock, while outspeeding and threatening Bewear. Babiri Berry can be used over Leftovers for a better matchup with against Silvally-Steel, allowing it to 2HKO with Mystical Fire at +1. (mention why aroma veil > sweet veil, as a sleep immunity could also be seen as useful- benefits of aroma veil being not stopped by sab encore and unaffected by taunt users.)

It's best to use Alcremie on balance teams that can better facilitate its strengths. (unnecessary) Pokemon such as Snorlax greatly appreciates Alcremie's presence, as it can check Fighting-types such as Scrafty and Passimian well. In return, Snorlax can more effectively handle the Special Attackers of the format Fire-types that give Alcremie trouble, like Salazzle and Charizard. Alcremie's speed and occasional difficulty switching in can be mitigated through Vikavolt or Galvantula, who have access to Sticky Web and Volt Switch. (reword this to a more detailed explanation of how both volt switch and u-turn from mons like passi decid vika mowtom etc help it get into battle- galv isn't too relevant and we have a lot of good voltturn in this tier.) Alcremie is crippled by Toxic, so running a Steel-type like Copperajah or Steelix, or Heal Bell user like Vaporeon is recommended. Steelix is a notable Steel-type partner for its ability to better take physical hits from threats such as Braviary. (add a sentence about bulky water types like jelli + vapo + gastro being able to check waters well.) Vaporeon makes a great Heal Bell user for its ability to also provide Wish support and better handle Salazzle.

Notably, you can still get the OHKO on Bewear and a guaranteed OHKO on Passimian after Stealth Rock. (that wording sounds much better and clarifies the difference between the two items a bit better. It can also guarantee a 2HKO on Drapion after Stealth Rock while surviving Poison Jab. (252 Atk Drapion Poison Jab vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Alcremie: 258-306 (95.2 - 112.9%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO- you sure about this one? also mention Sweet Veil's use at the end here.)

Alcremie fits best onto balance teams.

However, Alcremie is totally unable to break through frequently used counters such as Salazzle, Toxic Charizard, and Curse Snorlax, so it requires lots of team support to successfully sweep. However, Alcremie is checked by common threats such as Steelix and Drapion, which can make it difficult to fit into teams. Mystical Fire complements Dazzling Gleam by threatening Fairy-resistant targets such as Steelix and Silvally-Steel, though Psyshock can be used to remove would-be counters such as Salazzle. Mystical Fire complements Dazzling Gleam by threatening Steel-types and Vileplume; however, Psyshock can be used to hit Poison-types such as Salazzle and Weezing while giving Alcremie some way to damage Fire-types like Charizard. Both of these will allow Alcremie to threaten Vileplume. [you can keep if u want but kind of unnecessary with how i reworded] The given EV spread lets Alcremie outspeed maximum Speed Adamant Rhydon, while the rest of the EVs are added to Defense to increase Alcremie's physical bulk as much as possible, taking standard Bewear's Double-Edge. However, an alternative EV spread of 224 HP / 60 Def / 224 Spe can be used to avoid a 2HKO from Passimian's Earthquake after Stealth Rock, while outspeeding and threatening Bewear. Aroma Veil is used over Sweet Veil to ensure Alcremie cannot be stopped by Encore or Taunt, which could ruin a sweep.

Snorlax greatly appreciates Alcremie's presence; as it Alcremie can check Fighting-types such as Scrafty and Passimian well. In return, Snorlax can more effectively handle the Fire-types that give Alcremie trouble, like Salazzle and Charizard. Alcremie can have issues getting onto the field, so VolTurn users such as Vikavolt, Passimian, Decidueye and Rotom-C can greatly assist. Vikavolt is of particular note, as it gets Sticky Web, which can help prop up Alcremie's mediocre Speed. [you don't use this Alcremie set specifically to outspeed things; it is a bulky Pokemon, and you already outspeed everything that resists you except Silvally-Steel and Fire-types (which ignore webs with their boots)] Alcremie is crippled by Toxic, so running a Steel-type like Copperajah or Steelix, or Heal Bell user like Vaporeon is recommended. [running a steel-type doesnt help vs toxic users like zard / vap / jellicent that beat steels]. Steelix is a notable Steel-type partner for its ability to better take physical hits from threats such as Braviary. [huh? cream should take neutral physical hits pretty well, doesnt need a partner specifically for that purpose] Bulky Water-types such as Jellicent and Vaporeon are also useful for their ability to check Pokemon of the same type. [i dont get this at all tbh, why is this important? if "this type" is steel-types then change it to say that, if it's water-types then remove]

add:
- indeedee as a breaker that threatens poison-types that beat it [and can cripple steels with mystical fire and snorlax with trick]
- pokemon that can switch into and beat steel-types; water-types [vap, jelli] and ground-types [mudsdale] can do this
- ^ for fire types, just emphasize the waters

Implemented! Had a bit of trouble making the Indeedee-M addition concise, but I think it's ok??

I def need to work on being more negative in these kinds of analyses, but it's all a part of the improvement cycle I guess lol
