Since friend features have been smth that I have been a big fan of them. I feel since the addition of linking ur smogon to your showdown account your friends should also carry over to other linked smogon accounts.
For ex. if my suspect account "dogi dogi club" is also linked to my smogon account HTC then it should also see my friend list that my Hydreigon > Latias showdown account has
I feel that this allows you to feel you are not missing out on the friends feature by laddering for reqs, using an alt for laddering, or just in general other purposes. I feel the friends feature has a lot of potential but i feel its very frustrating to always lose access to it and be shown "you have no friends added on Showdown lol" because you swapped accounts despite showdown supposedly being very good at detecting alt accounts and with the new addition of linking smogon accounts an even easier way to determine accounts that belongs to one person
