[SET COMMENTS]
The combination of Substitute and Toxic turns Alolan Dugtrio into a great annoyance for many physical walls and Ground-type checks, including Wishiwashi, Rotom-S, and Cofagrigus, as it can cripple them and then slowly beat them with poison damage and attacks. Thanks to its great Speed and STAB attacks, it can force out common offensive Pokemon like Rapidash, Silvally-Fire, and Skuntank, giving it plenty of opportunities to set up Substitute. Additionally, despite its poor defenses, it finds value in soft checking Electric-types such as Togedemaru and Rotom-S. Tangling Hair has niche usage in slowing down fast Pokemon and setup sweepers like Choice Scarf Togedemaru and Swords Dance Silvally-Dragon when looking to sacrifice Alolan Dugtrio.

Fighting-types like Toxicroak and Sawk benefit from Alolan Dugtrio drawing in and crippling checks to them, including Cofagrigus, Rotom-S, and Gourgeist-S. Although Alolan Dugtrio can situationally handle Flying- and Electric-types like Unfezant, Rotom-S, and Togedemaru, it's unreliable at doing so. Therefore, pairing it with Pokemon like Lanturn and Rotom-F is good to support it defensively and take pressure off of it. Furthermore, both Pokemon are good at getting Alolan Dugtrio in versus Clefairy, which it can easily KO with Iron Head or use as setup fodder for Substitute. Teammates like Wishiwashi and Gourgeist-S work great because they handle Ground-types, with Gourgeist-S also soft checking Fighting-types. Because Fighting-types like Toxicroak and Sawk have means of outspeeding Alolan Dugtrio, be it priority or using Choice Scarf sets, checks to them like Cofagrigus and Garbodor are advised. Both of these can also supply Toxic Spikes to help spread poison, meaning Alolan Dugtrio can focus more on attacking and setting up Substitutes. Because Alolan Dugtrio has severe defensive overlap with the Ground-type Stealth Rock setters, Stealth Rock Clefairy and Cursola are typical partners to avoid this issue.

[SET COMMENTS]
Alolan Dugtrio is a reliable suicide lead thanks to its Speed tier and access to utility moves like Stealth Rock and Memento. Because Alolan Dugtrio is so fast, it can reliably set Stealth Rock for its teams. Afterwards, it can preserve momentum for its team with Memento, which also lets it prevent the opponent from removing Stealth Rock with Defog or Rapid Spin and from taking advantage of Alolan Dugtrio with a setup sweeper. Tangling Hair is similar in that it lets Alolan Dugtrio slow down Pokemon like Swords Dance Silvally formes and Choice Scarf Sawk, making them easier to handle with a teammate.

This set typically finds itself on offensive teams that want Stealth Rock up as soon as possible and appreciate Memento support. Therefore, setup sweepers like Skuntank, Rapidash, and Klinklang are typical partners because Stealth Rock helps weaken their checks, while Memento makes it easier for them to set up. More specifically, however, setup sweepers like Iron Defense Cofagrigus and Dragon Dance Flapple that take advantage of Sandaconda are ideal teammates. Abomasnow is also a common teammate because it also enables setup sweepers with Aurora Veil. Qwilfish is a notable partner for stacking entry hazards with Alolan Dugtrio. If you preserve Alolan Dugtrio and have it around mid-game, it benefits from partners like Gourgeist-S, Silvally-Dark, and Sawk that can weaken or remove checks to it like Sandaconda and Cofagrigus.

A sentence on fighting-type checks of your own feels relevant, especially since many are scarfed and have priority. Same with ground-types like sanda basically walls this infinitely; you already mentioned lanturn so just expand a tad

With tangling hair making Toge slower than you; perhaps a quick mention of using it to slow down a sweeper on a sack?

Does lanturn really help handle sanda/fisk? Perhaps mention Wishi after cause there's no way Toge is clicking ZZ when its alive. I'd like a gourg-small mention; it covers fighting types and ground types well. What rockers work well with it? this is gonna be one of the main issues when using it so I'd like it explicitly addressed.

I'd argue Qwilfish being here because well, spikestack is good. Also Aboma. Explicitly mention at least one sweeper that sets up on Sanda.

Hard stamping this. Thanks a lot for everything :). I don't know what else I can say that I haven't already, but I'd like to give you my first ever official GP check :0. Pretty fitting, too, since checking one of yours is where everything started.
