[SET COMMENTS]
Alolan Sandslash has decent Attack, access to Swords Dance and paired with its ability Slush Rush, allows it to make use of Hail from Alolan Ninetales and output a lot of damage. Swords Dance makes Alolan Sandslash a more threatening sweeper; after one boost, Triple Axel can break through Substitute, Mimikyu's Disguise, and Focus Sash from Pokemon like Galvantula and Alakazam. Iron Head is useful for Fairy- and Rock-type Pokemon like Hatterne and Tyranitar. Rapid Spin allows Sandslash to gain Speed along with getting rid of entry hazards placed by the opposing team. Life Orb is more optimal if A-Sandslash is running Earthquake over Rapid Spin, which can OHKO Jirachi and Aegislash-Shield after a Swords Dance. Wide Lens is is very good to improve consistency of Triple Axel where all 3 attacks need to land on Pokemon like Corviknight or Excadrill. With maximized Speed and a Jolly nature, A-Sandslash is able to outspeed Choice Scarf Pokemon such as Excadrill and Jirachi under Hail, while having full Attack investments betters its wallbreaking capabilities.

Alolan Ninetales is the best utlilty for Ice, providing Aurora Veil, which allows Alolan Sandslash to setup Swords Dance without being damaged extravagantly. Ninetales helps Alolan Sandslash in beating Fighting-type Pokemon like Terrakion and Keldeo with Choice Scarf while in return, Alolan Sandslash helps with Rock- and Steel-type Pokemon like Tyranitar and Corviknight. Galarian Darmanitan is an amazing wallbreaker because of Gorilla Tactics and supports Alolan Sandslash in beating Steel-type Pokemon like Excadrill or Ferrothorn with Flare Blitz or Fire Punch. Avalugg is the best hazard remover for Ice that gives Alolan Sandslash the option to run Earthquake as opposed to running Rapid Spin along with helping with threats such as Scizor or Cobalion because of Body Press and Iron Defense. Piloswine supports Avalugg in being able to survive more special attacks like Flamethrower or Bug Buzz while Avalugg in return is able to survive more physical-type attacks like Bullet Punch or Close Combat. Piloswine also provides Stealth Rock and Electric-type immunity and can check threatening special-type attackers to Ice like Charizard and Volcarona with Rock Slide that otherwise OHKOs Alolan Sandslash. Kyurem forms a wallbreaking core with Alolan Sandslash, and paired with Choice Specs, allows it to put inflict a lot of damage on walls like Toxapex or Galarian Corsola with its STABs that Sandslash may not be able to break. Weavile helps with Psychic- and Ghost-type Pokemon like Jirachi and Galarian Corsola with Knock Off, and can check setup sweepers like Cloyster Foul Play and Choice Scarf Jirachi with Knock Off. Cloyster is a great Shell Smash sweeper that does great against Fire- and opposing Ice-type matchups because of Rock Blast and Hydro Pump.
