Sandslash-Alola @ Leftovers
Ability: Slush Rush
EVs: 252 HP / 208 SpD / 48 Spe
Careful Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Stealth Rock / Toxic
- Icicle Crash / Iron Head
- Earthquake

Alolan Sandslash is PU's most consistent spinner due to its fantastic defensive typing, vast utility movepool, good bulk, and useful resistances. It can even set Stealth Rock, bringing valuable defensive utility to bulky offense and balance teams as a glue Pokemon that can check a plethora of threats such as Mesprit, Aurorus, and Liligant, while its STAB attacks let it beat spinblockers like Oricorio-G and Froslass and entry hazard removers like Oricorio-E and Skuntank. If Stealth Rock is not needed, Alolan Sandslash can run Toxic to cripple bulky pivots like Jellicent, Poliwrath, and Quagsire. The given EV spread allows it to outspeed Choice Scarf Aurorus under Hail while checking the aforementioned special attackers better. However, Alolan Sandslash lacks reliable recovery and is weak to common types like Fighting and Ground, so Pokemon like Mesprit and Jellicent make good teammates. Mesprit can also support Alolan Sandslash with U-turn and Healing Wish.

Alolan Sandslash stands as PU's most consistent spinner due to its fantastic defensive typing, vast utility movepool, good bulk, and useful resistances. (specify the rocker+spinner thing)Alolan Sandslash brings valuable defensive utility to bulky offense and balance teams as a glue Pokemon as it can check a plethora of threats such as Mesprit, Aurorus, and Liligant. It can sucessfully wear down most foes with Toxic, which lets it beat spinblockers like Oricorio-G, Froslass, and Jellicent. (also mention that it can beat hazard removers of choice based on its stab move of choice)(also toxic is presented as some niche, at the end of the sentence (or in its own) just say its an alternative to sr cuz blah blah blah)The given EV spread allows it to outspeed Choice Scarf Aurorus under Hail while having the ability to take a Earthquake from Mudsdale and Hidden Power Ground from Specs Mesprit(The Speed part is fine, but the rest kinda too much detail, not to mention the spread has nothing to do with mudsdale, which im p sure still beats this. u can prob just say something like 'lets it better check the previously mentioned special attackers'). However, Alolan Sandslash lacks reliable recovery (make this its own sentence, since it doesnt really have much to do with teammates, mes's hw is just a bonus)and is weak to common types like Fighting and Ground, so Pokemon like Mesprit and Jellicent make good teammates. Mesprit can also support Alolan Sandslash with U-turn and Healing Wish.
QC rejected 1/1. And as requested:

Alolan Sandslash stands as is PU's most consistent spinner due to its fantastic defensive typing, vast utility movepool, good bulk, and useful resistances, while acting as a reliable Stealth Rock user. It can even set Stealth Rock, bringing Alolan Sandslash brings valuable defensive utility to bulky offense and balance teams as a glue Pokemon as it that can check a plethora of threats such as Mesprit, Aurorus, and Liligant(RC),(AC) while its STAB attacks let it beat spinblockers like Oricorio-G and Froslass,(RC) and if running Stealth Rock it also has a good matchup against (this is true regardless of running SR or not) entry hazard removers like Oricorio-E and Skuntank. If Stealth Rock is not needed, Alolan Sandslash can run Toxic to cripple bulky pivots like Jellicent, Poliwrath, and Quagsire.
