[SET COMMENTS]

Alomomola is a great Pokemon on stall and bulky balance teams thanks to its great physical bulk, access to Wish to keep itself and its teammates healthy, and Regenerator to restore its health upon switching out. Wish + Protect allows Alomomola to keep itself and its team healthy against Landorus-T, Mega Swampert, and Garchomp. Protect can also be used to scout Choice users such as Ash-Greninja, Jirachi, Landorus-T, and Rillaboom to see what attack they lock into, or be used to wear down a Pokemon that is burned or poisoned. Toxic is used to wear down Pokemon such as Tapu Koko and Mega Charizard Y that commonly switch into Alomomola. It can also be used on setup sweepers like Garchomp, Mega Latias, and Volcarona to put a timer on their sweep. Scald is used to fish for burns against physical attackers like Mega Swampert and Mega Scizor, and is Alomomola's only way to do direct damage. 40 HP maximizes Leftovers recovery with 216 Defense EVs and a Bold nature maximizes Alomomola's tank allow Alomomola to wall physical attackers such as Mega Lopunny, Victini, and Excadrill. 252 Special Defense EVs is used to enable Alomomola to take Special Attacks from Ash Greninja and Tapu Lele in a pinch. Alomomola uses Rocky Helmet to wear down physical attackers such as Mega Scizor, Mega Medicham, and Mega Lopunny.

Alomomola fits on Stall teams, as all teammates appreciate Alomomola's ability to pass huge Wishes off to its teammates to keep them healthy and wear down physical attackers like Mega Lopunny, Jirachi, and Mega Scizor. Mega Sableye is a great partner for Alomomola as it can use Magic Bounce to prevent Blissey, Landorus-T, and Toxapex from getting up hazards. Mega Sableye can also use Will-O-Wisp to cripple physical attackers such as Mega Medicham, Melmetal, and Kartana that threaten Alomomola. Unaware Clefable is a great partner for Alomomola as it can beat setup sweepers like Gliscor, Reuniclus, and Mega Latias. Corviknight is a much needed partner for Alomomola, as it a great switch-in into Rillaboom and Kartana. It is also needed to serve as a Defog user to get rid of entry hazards that can wear down Alomomola quickly, especially by Toxic Spikes. Blissey or Chansey makes a great defensive core for the team, as Blissey and Chansey can come in on special attackers that can heavily dent or OHKO Alomomola like Tapu Koko, Mega Charizard Y, Zapdos, and Magnezone. Blissey or Chansey can also use Stealth Rock to wear down the opposing team in tandem with Toxic from Alomomola. Both of these Pokemon can also be used as status absorbers to avoid Alomomola from getting poisoned by Heatran, Blissey, and Gastrodon due Natural Cure. Blissey or Chansey can also use Aromatherapy to get rid of status on Alomomola. Gastrodon is a great partner that serves as a Manaphy and Tapu Fini check and can use Clear Smog to get rid of its boosts. Clear Smog is also useful to get rid of boost from Tapu Fini. It can also take care of Heatran, Zeraora, and Magnezone. Gliscor can take care of Pokemon that Alomomola struggle with like Zeraora, Tapu Koko, and Magnezone with Earthquake. It can also use Knock Off to get rid Heavy-Duty Boots from Blissey, Slowbro, and Zapdos to make them be worn down faster from entry hazards. Assault Vest Tangrowth is another option that can come in on Tapu Koko, Tapu Fini, Mega Lopunny, and Zapdos attacks, and can form a regenerator core with Alomomola. Amoonguss can also come in on Tapu Koko, Tapu Fini and Mega Lopunny's attacks, but it can also come in on Mega Venusaur and Zeraora's attacks. Wallbreakers that lack longevity on balance teams like Melmetal, Mega Tyranitar, Choice Band Tyranitar, Mega Mawile and Rillaboom love Alomomola for its Wish support.

Alomomola can use Knock Off over Scald to get rid of items like Leftovers and Heavy-Duty Boots, however, this is not worth the trade off of not having Scald to burn switchins and physical Pokemon such as Garchomp and Mega Scizor who try to set up in front of it.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Grass-types and Grass-type coverage**: Grass-types like Mega Venusaur, Amoonguss, Kartana, Rillaboom, and Ferrothorn all can 2HKO Alomomola with their Super-effective attacks. Mega Charizard Y carries Solar Beam which can heavily dent Alomomola, or OHKO it after some chip damage.

**Electric-types and Electric-type coverage**: Electric-types such as Tapu Koko, Magnezone, and Zapdos can take care of Alomomola with Thunderbolt. Pokemon that can carry Electric-type attacks like Clefable, Mega Latias, and Mega Mawile can surprise Alomomola and take care of it.

**Toxic-Immune Walls**: Walls such as Toxapex and Blissey that cannot be worn down by Toxic can easily wall Alomomola and can cripple it with Toxic, or slowly wear it down with their attacks.

**Strong Special Attackers**: Tapu Lele, Ash Greninja, Gengar, and Kyurem can threaten Alomomola out due to its mediocre Special Defense stat, as their attacks can deal heavy damage to Alomomola.

Alomomola is a great Pokemon on stall based teams thanks to its great Defense bulk, access to Wish to keep itself and teammates healthy, Regenerator to restore its health upon switching out, and use Rocky Helmet to wear down physical attackers such as Cinderace, Excadrill, and Mega Lopunny. Being able to use a Rocky Helmet isn't something specific to Alomomola. This probably belongs with the EVs below. Wish + Protect is great to keep itself and its team healthy against Cinderace, Landorus-T, Mega Swampert, and Garchomp. Protect can also be used to scout Choice users such as Jirachi, Landorus-T, and Rillaboom to see what attack they lock into, or be used to wear down a Pokemon that is burn or poisoned. Toxic is used to wear down Pokemon such as Tapu Koko, Unaware Clefable, and Mega Charizard Y that commonly switch into it. It can also be used on setup sweepers like Garchomp, Mega Latias, and Volcarona. Scald is used to fish for burns against physical attackers like Mega Swampert and Mega Scizor, and is Alomomola only way to do direct damage. 40 HP with 216 Defense EVs and a Bold nature is used to allow Alomomola to tank many physical attacks from Mega Lopunny, Victini, and Excadrill. 252 Special Defense EVs is used to enable Alomomola to take Special Attacks from Ash Greninja and Tapu Lele in a pinch. I would put the point here about why a Rocky Helmet is used. CInderace also needs to be replaced with something else obviously.

Alomomola fits on Stall teams, and is essential for serving as a Cinderace check. All teammates love Alomomola for it being able to pass Wish off to its teammates to keep them healthy and chip down physical attackers like Mega Lopunny, Jirachi, and Mega Scizor. Mega Sableye is a great partner for Alomomola as it can use Magic Bounce to get threaten entry hazard setters such as Blissey, Landorus-T, and Toxapex from getting up hazards. Mega Sableye can also use Will-O-Wisp to cripple physical attackers such as Mega Medicham, Melmetal, and Kartana that can take care of Alomomola. Unaware Clefable is a great partner for Alomomola as it can beat Calm Mind Magearna with using Calm Mind + Flamethrower. It is also great to beat other setup sweepers like Gliscor, Landorus-T, and Mega Latias. Corviknight is a much needed partner for Alomomola, as it a great switch-in into Rillaboom, which it can threaten it out with Brave Bird. It is also needed to serve as a Defog user to get rid of entry hazards that can make Alomomola easily worn down, or poisoned by Toxic Spikes. Blissey or Chansey makes a great defensive core for the team, as Blissey and Chansey it As stall teams usually have solid hazard control, Chansey's superior bulk is better can come in on special type attacks that can heavily dent or OHKO Alomomola like Tapu Lele, Specs Psyshock does 48% minimum Mega Charizard Y, Zapdos, and Magnezone. Blissey or Chansey can also use Stealth Rock to get up hazards to make it easier to wear down the opposing team along with being Toxic from Alomomola. Both of these It can also be used as status absorbers to avoid Alomomola from getting Toxic from Heatran, Blissey, and Gastrodon. Blissey or Chansey can also use Aromatherapy to get rid of status on Alomomola. Gastrodon is a great partner that serves as a Manaphy check and by using Clear Smog to get rid of its boosts. Clear Smog is also useful to get rid of boost from Calm Mind Tapu Fini. It can also take care of Heatran, Zeraora, and Magnezone. Gliscor can take care of Pokemon that Alomomola struggle with like Zeraora, Tapu Koko, and Magnezone with Earthquake. It's pretty obvious that Gliscor runs Earthquake and how it beats Electric-types. It can also use Knock Off to get rid Heavy-Duty Boots from Blissey, Slowbro, and Zapdos to make them be worn down faster from entry hazards. Assasult vest Tanagrowth is another option that can come in on Tapu Koko, Tapu Fini, Mega Lopunny, and Zapdos attacks, and can form a regenerator core with Alomomola. Assault Vest Tangrowth isn't really used at the moment. Whilst the Regen core looks solid, I would replace it with physically defensive Tangrowth and change what it checks accordingly. Amoonguss can also come in on Tapu Koko, Tapu Fini and Mega Lopunny's attacks, but it can also come in on Mega Venusaur and Zeraora's attacks. What Amoonguss switches into will need to be adjusted accordingly. It can also use Spore to force a Pokemon asleep, and use Sludge Bomb or Foul Play to take care of Rillaboom.

**Rillaboom*: Rillaboom can OHKO Alomomola after some chip damage with Grassy Glide. I don't see any reason it is more threatening than the other Grass-types.

40 HP maximizes Leftovers recovery and 216 Def hits a jumppoint, be sure to mention that 252 Special Defense EVs is used to enable Alomomola to take Special Attacks from Ash Greninja and Tapu Lele in a pinch. I would put the point here about why a Rocky Helmet is used.

Alomomola fits on Stall and bulky balance teams, and is essential for serving as a Cinderace check as a catch-all pivot to a variety of physical attackers. All teammates in these playstyles love Alomomola for it being able to pass Wish off to its teammates to keep them healthy and chip down physical attackers like Mega Lopunny, Jirachi, and Mega Scizor. Mega Sableye is a great partner for Alomomola as it can use Magic Bounce to get threaten prevent entry hazard setters such as Blissey Ferrothorn, Landorus-T, and Toxapex from getting up hazards. Mega Sableye can also use Will-O-Wisp to cripple physical attackers such as Mega Medicham, Melmetal poor example, Mega Sableye can never switch in, and Kartana that can take care of Alomomola. Unaware Clefable is a great partner for Alomomola as it can beat Calm Mind Magearna with using Calm Mind + Flamethrower. It is also great to beat other setup sweepers like Gliscor, Landorus-T, and Mega Latias Reuniclus Mega Latias already loses to Mega Sableye and doesn't particularly threaten Alomomola anyway. Corviknight is a much needed partner for Alomomola, as it a great switch-in into Rillaboom, Kartana, and Kyurem, which it can threaten it out with Brave Bird this is obvious. It is also needed to serve as a Defog user to get rid of entry hazards that can make Alomomola easily worn down, or poisoned by Toxic Spikes. Speed control to fully limit dangerous Ground-types in Gliscor, Garchomp, and Landorus-T is important as well, since Alomomola can't always keep up with their boosting shenanigans. The likes of Ash-Greninja, Weavile, and Ice Beam Mega Latias work well in this regard.

you should mention some wallbreakers that appreciate Wish support on balance (eg. CB / Mega Tyranitar, Melmetal, Mega Mawile etc.)

Scald is used to fish for burns against physical attackers like Mega Swampert and Mega Scizor, and is Alomomola's only way to do direct damage. 40 HP maximizes Leftovers recovery with 216 Defense EVs would mention that this spread maximizes alo's overall bulk, as investing in hp / defense any more has minimal returns and a Bold nature is used to allow Alomomola to tank many physical attacks from wall physical attackers such as Mega Lopunny, Victini, and Excadrill. 252 Special Defense EVs is used to enable Alomomola to take Special Attacks from Ash-Greninja and Tapu Lele in a pinch.
