A strong STAB move in Boomburst after Mega Evolving allows Altarianite Kommo-o to threaten out a few common Sablenite users like Mandibuzz, Gastrodon, and Mew and set up Stealth Rock. It also lets Kommo-o threaten out Dragon-types like Hydreigon, Salamencite Noivern, Zekrom, and Dragapult. Flamethrower rounds out Kommo-o's coverage, allowing it to hit Steel-types like Sablenite Corviknight, Excadrill, and Necrozma-DM on the switch in. Taunt prevents Pokemon like Banettite and Latiasite Toxapex, Venusaurite Corviknight, and Necrozma-DM from having access to their recovery and additionally blocks Defog after Kommo-o has set up Stealth Rock. Alternatively, Work Up allows Kommo-o to deal more damage with Boomburst and Flamethrower and eventually force out Venusaurite Corviknight, and deal more damage to switch-ins. The EV investment allows Kommo-o to avoid the 2HKO from Dragapult's Shadow Ball and Reshiram's Blue Flare. Altarianite allows Kommo-o to replace its Fighting typing with a Fairy typing, allowing it to check certain Pokemon better, like Hydreigon, Dragapult, Zekrom, and Reshiram.

Kommo-o struggles to break through sturdy, Fairy-resistant foes that aren't threatened out by Flamethrower like Toxapex and Venusaurite Corviknight, so partners that can eliminate them are appreciated. Lopunnite Zeraora can break through those, and in return, Kommo-o can assist with breaking through physical walls, such as Hippowdon and Manectite Mew, for Zeraora. Sablenite Mandibuzz, Latiasite Rotom-H, and Sablenite Gastrodon can help Kommo-o deal with threats to it, like Gengar, Toxtricity, Altarianite Arcanine, and Excadrill, and Latiasite Rotom-H can take on threats like Glalitite and Altarianite Toxtricity, opposing Altarianite Kommo-o, and Excadrill for Kommo-o. The former two, on the other hand, can also provide pivoting and clear away hazards. Ghost-types like Lunala and Lucarionite Dragapult appreciate Kommo-o's ability to threaten out Dark-types and can form a core with Kommo-o to pressure special walls like Mandibuzz and Corviknight.

A strong STAB in Boomburst allows Kommo-o to threaten out a few common Sablenite users, like Mandibuzz Gastrodon, and Hippowdon, allowing it to set up Stealth Rock versus those. It also threatens out Dragon-types, like Hydreigon Salamencite Noivern, Zekrom, and Dragapult. Flamethrower rounds out Kommo-o's coverage, allowing it to hit Steel-types, like Sablenite Corviknight Excadrill and Necrozma-Dusk-Mane on the switch-in. Work Up allows Kommo-o to deal more damage with Boomburst and Flamethrower, and eventually force out Venusaurite Corviknight, and deal more damage to switch-ins. Taunt is an alternative to shut down defensive threats without Sablenite, like Latiasite or Banettite Toxapex, Venusaurite Corviknight, and Necrozma-Dusk-Mane, cutting off their source of recovery. Don't forget to talk about Taunt blocking Defog after Kommo-o sets Stealth Rocks as well Altarianite allows Kommo-o to replace its Fighting typing with a Fairy typing, allowing it to check certain Pokemon better, like Hydreigon, Dragapult, Zekrom and Reshiram. However, using Altarianite on Kommo-o takes the stone away from Pokemon that would appreciate it, like Altarianite Arcanine.

Kommo-o does struggle to break through sturdy Fairy resists that aren't threatened out by Flamethrower, like Toxapex, or Venusaurite Corviknight, so partners that can eliminate those are appreciated. Loppunite Zeraora can break through those, and in return, Kommo-o can assist with breaking through physical walls, like Hippowdon, and Manectite Mew, for Zeraora. Kommo-o also dislikes taking hazard damage, since it has no recovery of its own, so hazard removal like Latiosite Excadrill, Sablenite Mandibuzz, and Sablenite Corviknight can assist Kommo-o with removing hazards. I'm not sure how I feel about this section (starting with "Kommo-o also dislikes taking hazard damage..." I feel Kommo-o's primary concern is setting hazards, breaking open teams, and escaping Pokemon that threaten it back not taking a bit of Stealth Rocks chip. I think you should rework this section and focus more on two partners; 1). Sablenite Mandibuzz to take on Gengar and Excadrill and 2). Latiasite Rotom-Heat (I mentioned some of the specific mons this can take on below) can also support Kommo-o fairly well with the added perk of removing hazards for Kommo-o. If this comment is hard to understand reach out to me on cord and i'll clarify. The latter two can also help Kommo-o by giving it a slow pivot. Ghost-types like Lunala and Lucarionite Dragapult appreciate that Kommo-o can threaten out Dark-types, and can form a core with Kommo-o to wear down pressure special walls like Mandibuzz and Corviknight. Focus on some partners that switch in on things that threaten Kommo-o like Altarianite Arcanine, Excadrill, Gengar, Glalite or Altarianite Toxtricity, etc. Some suggestions I have are Sablenite Gastrodon for Gengar, Glalite Toxtricity, Altarianite Arcanine Arcanine, and Excadrill or Latiasite Rotom-Heat for pretty much the same mons excluding Gengar.

A strong STAB in Boomburst allows Kommo-o to threaten out a few common Sablenite users, like Mandibuzz, Gastrodon, and Hippowdon I do not believe Hippowdon is a great mention here considering how relatively uncommon Hippowdon itself is, suggesting a bulkier resist such as Mew would probably be more worth it, allowing it to set up Stealth Rock versus those. It also threatens out Dragon-types, like Hydreigon, Salamencite Noivern, Zekrom, and Dragapult. Flamethrower rounds out Kommo-o's coverage, allowing it to hit Steel-types, like Sablenite Corviknight, Excadrill, and Necrozma-Dusk-Mane on the switch-in. Switch the two comments about Work Up and Taunt It can also be used to block Defog after Kommo-o sets up Stealth Rock. Altarianite allows Kommo-o to replace its Fighting typing with a Fairy typing, allowing it to check certain Pokemon better, like Hydreigon, Dragapult, Zekrom and Reshiram. Mention how the SpDef investment avoids 2HKOs from Reshiram and Dragapult However, using Altarianite on Kommo-o takes the stone away from Pokemon that would appreciate it, like Altarianite Arcanine.

They can both provide pivoting and clear away hazards. Ghost-types like Lunala and Lucarionite Dragapult appreciate that Kommo-o can threaten out Dark-types, and can form a core with Kommo-o to pressure special walls, like Mandibuzz and Corviknight. Kommo-o gets forced out by Pokemon like Gengar, Toxtricity, Altarianite Arcanine, and Excadrill, so Pokemon like Sablenite Gastrodon and Latiasite Rotom-H can switch into most of them, and threaten them out. Merge this with the Sablenite Mandibuzz mention, as they are similar points.
