[SET COMMENTS]
Amoonguss is a fantastic defensive pivot for Poison teams thanks to Regenerator and its Grass typing, allowing it to take neutral damage from Ground-type attacks and switch into attacks such as Choice Scarf Excadrill's Earthquake even with Stealth Rock up. Spore allows Amoonguss to put threats such as Diggersby and Excadrill to sleep and avoid becoming set up bait against setup sweepers such as Bisharp. Giga Drain allows Amoonguss to target Ground- and Water-type Pokemon such as Hippowdon, Krookodile, Seismitoad, and Keldeo. Foul Play allows Amoonguss to punish physical setup sweepers such as Swords Dance Scizor and Pokemon weak to Dark such as Dragapult. Stomping Tantrum is an option to punish Salazzle, a pain to face for Poison teams, but it is not good in any other matchup. Synthesis gives Amoonguss a reliable form of recovery and also allows it to switch into Choice Scarf Excadrill through the match continually. Black Sludge gives Amoonguss a form of passive recovery, and Regenerator allows Amoonguss to excel as a defensive pivot. Its EVs and Bold nature allow Amoonguss to avoid a 2HKO from physical attacks such as Choice Scarf Excadrill's Earthquake after Stealth Rock damage.

Toxapex and Amoonguss form the Regenerator core on Poison teams. Toxapex also provides Amoonguss with a switch-in to Fire- and Ice-type attacks from Pokemon such as Charizard and Weavile. In return, Amoonguss can tank Electric-type attacks for Toxapex, such as Zeraora's Plasma Fists. Galarian Weezing can switch into powerful Dragon-type attacks for Amoonguss, such as Hydreigon's Draco Meteor. Galarian Weezing also switches into Ground-type attacks that Amoonguss cannot, such as Choice Band Diggersby's Earthquake, as well as cripple physical attackers such as Terrakion with Will-O-Wisp, and wall Urshifu-S, which otherwise can muscle past Amoonguss. Skuntank provides a switch-in to Psychic-type attacks and can check dangerous threats to Amoonguss with Sucker Punch, such as Alolan Raichu and Dragapult. Both can also clear entry hazards for Amoonguss with Defog. Amoonguss can put foes to sleep for Gengar with Spore, such as Choice Scarf Dracovish, allowing Gengar to break through the opposing team more easily. Gengar can, in return, cripple walls for Amoonguss like Toxapex by using Trick, making them near deadweight. Salazzle keeps faster foes in check and can check Pokemon such as Excadrill with Flamethrower, taking the burden off Amoonguss to switch into its Earthquake. Salazzle can also significantly improve the Poison- and Steel-type matchup by crippling foes such as Corviknight and Toxapex with Toxic thanks to its ability Corrosion. Scolipede is a powerful setup sweeper that can break through walls such as Chansey with Megahorn and threaten Psychic teams very effectively thanks to Speed Boost and its ability to OHKO or 2HKO all Psychic-type Pokemon. While not incredibly viable, Toxtricity can take on Flying-type Pokemon such as Corviknight, Mantine, and Mandibuzz with Overdrive, which otherwise walls Amoonguss.

Amoonguss is a fantastic defensive pivot for Poison teams thanks to Regenerator and its Grass typing allowing it to take neutral damage from Ground-type attacks. what mons can it check using ground neutralitySpore allows Amoonguss to put threats such as Diggersby and Excadrill to sleep. should talk about spore making amoong less passive against setup monsGiga Drain allows Amoonguss to target Ground- and Water-type Pokemon such as Hippowdon, Krookodile, Seismitoad, and Keldeo. Foul Play allows Amoonguss to punish physical setup sweepers such as Swords Dance Scizor and Pokemon weak to Dark attacks such as Dragapult. Synthesis gives Amoonguss a reliable form of recovery. synthesis is notable for recovering on scarf exca if something else has already been sporedStomping Tantrum can be used over Synthesis to allow Amoonguss to punish Salazzle, however, it is not good in any other matchup. discussed slashing tantrum with foul on discBlack Sludge gives Amoonguss a form of passive recovery and Regenerator allows Amoonguss to accel as a defensive pivot being able to regain health upon switching out. say something about regen keeping it healthy since thats what matters Its EVs and Bold nature allow Amoonguss to avoid a 2HKO from physical attacks such as Choice Scarf Excadrill's Earthquake after Stealth Rock chip.

Additionally, Skuntank can check dangerous threats to Amoonguss with Sucker Punch such as Alolan Raichu and Dragapult. Gengar is a powerful walbreaker that can take on Pokemon such as Slowbro with Shadow Ball, Corviknight with Thunderbolt and can take on Dark-type Pokemon such as Tyranitar with Focus Blast, or cripple Pokemon such as Chansey by trading its item with Trick. main thing u should be focusing on for gengar and amoong is that amoong can use spore to cripple things and let gengar breakSalazzle acts as a form of Speed control and can check Pokemon such as Excadrill with Flamethrower, taking the burden off Amoonguss to switch into its Earthquake.talk about how salazzle can badly poison pex vs water and that lets amoong threaten entire teams much easier Scolipede is a powerful setup sweeper that can break through walls such as Chansey for the team with Megahorn, as well as being able to threaten Psychic teams very effectively thanks to Speed Boost and its ability to OHKO or 2HKO all Psychic-type Pokemon. toxtricity deserves a mention for being able to take on flying type pokemon

* ' It also prevents Amoonguss from becoming set up bait against setup sweepers.' Give 1-2 examples of setup sweepers here that fall to spore like Bisharp and Mimikyu.

* Mention Galarian Weezing checking Urshifu which can otherwise break apart Amoongus on the switch.

* ' Gengar can in return cripple walls for Amoonguss like Toxapex by using switching Trick, switching their items, and effectively locking them into one move making them near deadweight. '

* You can mention Drapion alongside the already given Skuntank for Psychic immunity and then talk about their individual pros, like how drapion can setup Toxic Spikes which combined with the bulk of amoongus helps to wear down teams while also checking threats like cm jirachi better.

QC 2/2 Good job

Amoonguss is a fantastic defensive pivot for Poison teams thanks to Regenerator and its Grass typing allowing it to take neutral damage from negating its weakness to (awkwardness) Ground-type attacks. This neutrality to Ground allows it to switch into attacks such as Choice Scarf Excadrill's Earthquake(AC), even after Stealth Rock damage. Spore allows Amoonguss to put threats neutralize threats to Poison teams (emphasis and phrasing so the point does not seem like the obvious "spore sleeps stuff its hits") such as Diggersby and Excadrill to sleep. It also prevents Amoonguss from becoming setup bait against for setup sweepers such as Bisharp. Giga Drain allows Amoonguss to target targets (repetitive phrasing/awkwardness) Ground- and Water-type Pokemon such as Hippowdon, Krookodile, Seismitoad, and Keldeo. Foul Play allows Amoonguss to punish physical setup sweepers such as Swords Dance Scizor and Pokemon weak to Dark attacks such as Dragapult. Stomping Tantrum allows Amoonguss to punish Salazzle, a pain to face for Poison teams, however, it is not good in any other matchup. but is not useful against any other Pokemon, however. ("Matchup" brings to mind "teams of other types vsing your team") Synthesis gives Amoonguss a reliable form of recovery and also allows it to continually notably lets Amoonguss (unneeded/redundant information + repetitive phrasing) switch into Choice Scarf Excadrill throughout the match. Black Sludge gives Amoonguss a form of passive recovery and Regenerator allows Amoonguss to accel as a defensive pivot being able to regain health upon switching out, allowing it to stay healthy. Regenerator rewards Amoonguss for switching out, allowing it to excel as a defensive pivot. (clarity / focus on specific information) [BREAK] Its Amoonguss's EVs and Bold nature allow Amoonguss it to avoid a 2HKO from physical attacks such as Choice Scarf Excadrill's Earthquake after Stealth Rock chip.

Toxapex and Amoonguss form the a nearly mandatory (I assume so? because you use "the") Regenerator core on Poison teams. Toxapex also provides Amoonguss with a switch into switches into (ambiguous syntax) Fire- and Ice-type attacks from Pokemon such as Charizard and Weavile for Amoonguss. In return, Amoonguss can tank Electric-type attacks for Toxapex such as Zeraora's Plasma Fists. Galarian Weezing can switch into powerful Dragon-type attacks for Amoonguss such as Hydreigon's Draco Meteor(RP). Galarian Weezing also can switch into Ground-type attacks that Amoonguss can't switch into and Ground-type attacks too strong for it (prevents repetitive phrasing and type confusion) [BREAK] such as Choice Band Diggersby's Earthquake. Galarian Weezing and Skuntank can also both clear hazards for Amoonguss with Defog [BREAK] (AC), which otherwise pressure Amoonguss to constantly switch out and activate Regenerator before it becomes too worn down. (clarification on why this specifically helps Amoonguss that I assume is correct) [BREAK] Additionally, Galarian Weezing can cripple physical attackers such as Terrakion with Will-O-Wisp(AC), giving Amoonguss an even better matchup against them, and walls Urshifu-S, which could otherwise muscle past Amoonguss. (prevents "why does my physical wall need burn support"? confusion., and the sentence merge prevents an overly long section for one teammate. [BREAK] This sentence "Additionally... muscle past Amoonguss" should be moved directly after "...Choice Band Diggersby's Earthquake" for flow) [BREAK] It can also wall Urshifu-S which otherwise can muscle past Amoonguss. Skuntank is also a switch-in to Psychic-type attacks. Skuntank It can further use Sucker Punch to (ambiguity) check dangerous threats to Amoonguss with Sucker Punch such as Alolan Raichu and Dragapult. Amoonguss can put foes that outspeed Gengar (focus on specific information + makes more clear earlier that this isn't related to Skuntank) to sleep for Gengar with Spore such as Choice Scarf Dracovish, allowing Gengar to more easily break through the opposing team. it. Gengar can in return cripple walls for Amoonguss like Toxapex by using Trick, switching their items, and effectively locking them into one move making them near deadweight. Salazzle acts as a form of speed control and can check Pokemon such as Excadrill with Flamethrower, taking the burden off Amoonguss to switch freeing Amoonguss from the burden of switching (fix that doesn't bring in awkwardness) into its Earthquake. Salazzle can also significantly improve the Poison- and Steel-type matchups by crippling foes such as Corviknight and Toxapex with Toxic(RC), thanks to its ability Corrosion. Scolipede is a powerful setup sweeper that can break through walls such as Chansey for the team with Megahorn, as well as being able to threaten Psychic teams very effectively thanks to Speed Boost and its ability to OHKO or 2HKO all Psychic-type Pokemon. and threaten Psychic teams for Amoonguss via Speed Boost and Megahorn, with Megahorn being able to OHKO or 2HKO all Psychic-type Pokemon. While it is not particularly viable, Toxitricity can take on threaten (making clear it offensively checks, not defensively checks) Flying-type Pokemon such as Corviknight, Mantine, and Mandibuzz with Overdrive which otherwise walls Amoonguss. so that Amoonguss isn't walled by them. (awkwardness)
