Good morning,ladies and gentleman! My name is Matezoide,but you can call me Matt and this is my starter,Steve,who will keep us company for this round. Say hello,Steve.

Key? (Sup?)

And for today's battle we have two known ASB veterans,AOPS begins by sending out his 2 pokemon, Frodo,the Axew, and Sam,the Dratini! Orcinus is ,however,unphased by his opponent's choice and sends out Simion,the Chimchar and Soul,the Litwick.
Key Key (So it is a dragon vs fire showdown,this should be fun to watch.)

As soon as Orcinus sends out his pokemon,Frodo's hand becomes covered in a dark energy,making the shape of a blade! Charging at Soul before either of the fire types can understand whats happening,Soul is hit by an amazingly powerfull Night Slash! What a way to begin! Angered at his friend's injure,but still focused,Simion attacks with an intense Flamethrower at Sam,who seems unharmed by the attack and smiles as he scatters the fire away,it appears Orcinus made a poo---
Mankey! Mankey! (Something is going on with that Dratini! He suddenly ignited on fire again,do you think.....)
Indeed i do,Steve,it appears the Dratini has been burned by the move,but he is clearly determined to continue,as he shoots a powerfull Pulse of Water that smacks Soul against a wall! That gotta hurt,but do not count Soul out of this yet,as she sends a strong Wave of Heat,dealing respectful damage and recovering some of her honor.

Mankey! (The battle continues as Frodo strikes Soul yet again with a Night-Slash,however,Simion decides to Charge at Sam while covered in Flames,a shame it barely harmed it)

Just like in the first action,Sam hits Soul with it's powerfull Water-Pulse,only to be striken back with a fantastic Fire-Blast! To add insult to injure,the nasty Burn suffered earlier harms the dragon further.
Next action is merely a repeat of action 1,as Soul is hit by another Night-Slash and Water-Pulse (Believe it or not,neither of the move's side-effects affected Soul,what a brave Litwick) while Sam suffers further abuse from a Flamethrower and Heat-Wave,screaming in pain as it's Burn kicks in,he quickly attempts to Shed his own Skin to get rid of that annoying status condition,but fails....perharps it is just not ready for that yet?

Mankey! (We barely begun and 2 of our contestants have been already brutalized,while that other monkey manages to escape unharmed!)

-Heat Wave has the spread move BP effect on it. (BP=10*0.75=7.5)

- Hum....so the damage Heat-Wave does will be (10 + 3 [STAB] *0,75)*0,67?

I will fix both issues as soon as possible,my apologizes.
 
No rush buddy. you've done a great job reffing for your first time, doubles no less. :D

Heat wave's BAP should be adjusted to 7.5, so just replace the 10 with 7.5 and you're set.

(Also, forgetting that dragon resists fire like a pro)
 
Yeah...so for the heat wave calcs, I'm getting (7.5 (BAP) + 1.5 (Stat difference) + 3 (STAB) ) * (2/3 (Resistance) ), giving us 8 instead of 6.5.

Hum.....yeah,your right,as Frodo is getting up and shoots a powerfull-looking blue fire from his mouth,striking Soul and knocking him down,poor thing cant take another one of those.
But wait! Simion jumped on Sam just as it was about to open it's moth and quickly strikes it's ears! What an amazing Fake-Out,Sam is unable to even move! Soul uses the opportunity to shoot another Heat-Wave and appears to be....staying right behind Simion
? Bosco,any thoughts on that?

Grim,Grim Grimer (If i am right,it appears she is staying behind Simion for some protection,as getting KO'ed right now wouldnt be useful at all.....if i am right,she really trusts Simion and vice-versa)

Well said,my cosplay fanatic friend,and it appears to be working,as that Dual-Chop strikes Simion,doing a lot of damage.....of course,he knows better than allowing such an attack distract him and jumps on Sam to deliver a massive punch that could easily Break Bricks! It seems to have done more damage than normal....yes,it was a Critical Hit! Knowing his time on the battle is limited,Sam uses all it's power to strike Simion with a Water-Pulse,dealing damage and....hum,Simion looks a bit more stunned than it should be,in fact,he looks quite Confused,using it's opponent's distraction,Soul fires another of it's amazing Heat-Waves at both foes,but just barely fails to KO Sam,who manages to steady himself.....Or did he
? Sam is on fire once again and cries in pain,finaly falling to the ground,KO'ed due to it's Burn!

Grimer! (That Litwick better stop doing that,it is getting hot in here!)

Indeed....anyway, it is now a 2 on 1,as Frodo strikes the confusing Simion with a vertical Slash right to the face,Simion ,however,merely close it's fist and.....punches itself
?! It appears the early confusion did come back to bite Simion's butty,what a shame.

To end the round,Soul shoots an eerie sphere of blue fire with it's Will-O-Wisp,that hits Frodo as he laughs at Simion's stupidity,immediately feeling the damage of that Burn.

Same here,AOPS has just released his third pokemon,Karate Kid,the Meditite!

Corphish! (If that Meditite is as good as the comic version,he could probably solo Orcinus's whole team!)

Yeah,that dude is just ridiculous in the comics.

And now,it begins!

Soul is aware that she cant keep this up for too long and thus,decides to brace herself with an Endure,while Karate Kid's first action is to use some nearby rocks to make a Substitute!,so cute.
Frodo is ,however,way less patient and jumps on Simion striking him twice,but due to the burn,it did less damage than earlier....for the first time ever,Simion finds itself moving last this round and does an fantastic acrobaticy,striking Karate Kid's substitute,but falling to destroy it....if only he wasnt holding that item....
Of course,Frodo's burn quicks in again,but the Axew is still as ready as ever to fight.

Knowing he is safe behind this substitute,Karate Kid closes his fist and eyes,as an enormous amount of energy forms around his hand. Frodo ,being much less patient than his partner,shoots another Dragon-Rage at Soul,dealing heavy damage and making her almost collapse,luckly,she was able to endure the hit and is still in the game!
Extremely angered at his innability to destroy the substitute,Simion Taunts the Meditite by throwing the fouliest language i ever heard with it's ,but surpringly,Karate-Kid manages to shrugg it off and it's focus isnt broken,thats amazing!
Corphish! (Hey! This is a kid friendly zone!)
Seeing how effective the strategy was in the past,Soul shoots another Heat-Wave,destroying Karate-Kid's substitute,who's completely unphased by this and charges at Simion,smashing him against the ground with an amazing Focus-Punch!
Knowing his opponent is still in the game and still angered,Karate-Kid kicks Simion into the air and Jumps as High as possible to deliver a devasting spinning Kick,crashing the poor Chimchar into the ground once again and instantly knocking him out.
Cor.....phish.....sh?(That....was.....AWESOME! Is that Meditite from DBZ?)
Perfectly aware that another attack would be useless,Frodo merely chills as another Heat-Wave is shot,severely harming Karate-Kid and Frodo,as the burn injures him yet again

small nitpicks:

Dual chop was calculated incorrectly. What you do is calculate the total BAP of the attack (8) and then add stats and that jazz the that BAP, so it should actually have done (8+1.5)=9.5 dmg. This actually doesn't matter because Simion is still KO'd.

Heat Wave should have done:
(7.5+3+1.5)=12 dmg to meditite
8 dmg to Axew as previously calculated

There should be a crit and burn roll for the second heat wave.

With that in mind:
Axew: (8+8+6)=22 dmg taken
Axew should have 26 hp left

Meditite: (15+12)=27
Meditite indeed has 63 hp left.

Meditite expended 12+9+7=28 en, so it has 72 left
Axew expended 5+4-12=-3 en, so it has 62 left
Soul expended 15+6+10 (you forgot the consecutive energy penalty on the second one)=31 en, so it has 31 left

Also, Meditite being taunted for 4a should be labelled at the end of round

My apologizes for these mistakes,it has been properly fixed. I did roll critical/burn for the second Heat-Wave,but neither happened,wich led me to forgetting to write both results.

Addtionaly,thanks for telling me their current energys,saved me some time.

Ok,i got it on Dual-Chop,but i think it is necessary to divide the result by 2 (ie,the damage per hit) and then make two individual rolls for criticals,correct?


Geez,i wonder if everyone's first reffing was like that :pirate:

Nope, you make two individual rolls for criticals, and then add the critical hit damage to the final calc. I think it's 1 per crit?
