[OVERVIEW]
Despite not suffering from competition as a Coil user having decent abilities and a nice movepool, Arbok struggles to find its place. Its only average Attack and Speed and mediocre bulk make it a bad setup sweeper, give it a hard time setting up, and leave it easily revenge killed and walled by metagame staples, such as Oricorio-E and Jellicent.

This set attempts to make Arbok a setup sweeper thanks to Coil, its decent coverage, and setup opportunities that Intimidate and its typing bring. However, due to Arbok's mediocre bulk and defensive typing, it is rather hard to successfully set up. Even when it does, its merely average Attack leaves it easily walled by the likes of Jellicent and Quagsire, while its poor Speed and bulk leave it prey to faster Pokemon like Oricorio-E and Choice Scarf Mesprit, making it reliant on Sucker Punch to hit them while leaving it unable to use its STAB move and other coverage options.
