Ubers Arceus-Ghost

[OVERVIEW]

* Good all-around stats and a Ghost typing make Arceus-Ghost one of the best spinblockers in Ubers.
* Ghost is a fantastic offensive typing thanks to its lack of resistances; this lets Arceus-Ghost force out the majority of the tier, giving it free turns to set up with Swords Dance.
* As a result of its natural bulk and typing, Arceus-Ghost can check Mega Lucario and Necrozma-DM, two Pokemon that, without Sticky Web set on their side of the field, are particularly threatening to Sticky Web teams
* Arceus-Ghost is very one-dimensional, as any set other than Swords Dance is outclassed by other Arceus formes.
* Arceus-Ghost's lack of notable resistances makes it hard for it to switch in without taking a big hit. This makes Arceus-Ghost's defensive capability quite limited.
* This limitation makes it difficult to justify using Arceus-Ghost on balance and stall archetypes, especially considering how much they rely on other Arceus forms to check threatening Pokemon and provide Defog support.
* It is hindered by the prominence of Pokemon that check it, such as Marshadow and Yveltal.
* Despite having a vast movepool, its coverage options are weak, and this makes Arceus-Ghost very reliant on its STAB move. This is a problem due to its main STAB move having low PP and taking two turns to use, which allows your opponent to play around attacks after Arceus-Ghost has used Never-Ending Nightmare.
* Overall, Arceus-Ghost is a great choice for a few specialized teams that require spinblocking. However, its opportunity cost of taking up an Arceus slot and the Z-Crystal while being weak to two top-tier threats means it is difficult to justify on any other team.

Moves
========

* Swords Dance allows Arceus-Ghost to boost its Attack and defeat bulkier Pokemon such as support Arceus formes with a boosted Z-Move.
* Shadow Force is Arceus-Ghost's strongest STAB move. It allows it to use a 190-Base Power Never-Ending Nightmare, which can OHKO the majority of bulky Pokemon when combined with Swords Dance boosts. However, the base move has limited PP and takes two turns to use, so your opponent can play around it by switching into a Normal-type or setting up a Substitute.
* Brick Break grants perfect coverage alongside Arceus-Ghost's STAB attack, providing it with a way to super effectively hit Normal- and Dark-types.
* Stone Edge can be used instead to beat Yveltal, Ho-Oh, and Mega Salamence while boosted without using being reliant on its Z-Move.
* Substitute is used to avoid status moves and Dragon Tail, helping Arceus-Ghost to set up on passive Pokemon that rely on status, such as Chansey, Celesteela, and defensive Zygarde-C. It also prevents Arceus-Ghost from being revenge killed by faster attackers or priority moves.
* Shadow Claw is an alternative STAB option that has more PP and deals damage the turn it's used, preventing your opponent from playing around it with Substitute or Normal-type switch-ins. However, its lower Base Power makes a less powerful Z-Move, so Arceus-Ghost can no longer OHKO support Arceus forms with a +2 Never-Ending Nightmare.
* Extreme Speed lets Arceus-Ghost KO Deoxys-A before it can move and revenge kill weakened sweepers.
* Recover provides Arceus-Ghost with recovery, allowing it to spinblock throughout the course of a match.

Set Details
========

* A Jolly nature with maximum Speed investment allow Arceus-Ghost to make the best use of its good Speed tier. This lets it speed tie with Mega Salamance and other Arceus formes, and it can outspeed Mega Lucario and everything slower.
* Maximum Attack investment allows Arceus-Ghost to hit as hard as possible. This allows it to KO defensive Primal Kyogre with +2 Shadow Force after Stealth Rock and defensive non-transformed Zygarde with a +2 Never-Ending Nightmare after a layer of Spikes.
* Ghostium Z allows Arceus-Ghost to use Never-Ending Nightmare, which is needed to break through defensive teams.
* Spooky Plate can be used if one of Arceus-Ghost's teammates is already using a Z-Crystal. However, this is generally an inferior option, as Arceus-Ghost struggles against the walls it's supposed to defeat without the help of a Z-Move.

Usage Tips
========

* Arceus-Ghost should be switched into potential Rapid Spin users such as Excadrill and Cloyster in order to spinblock.
* Swords Dance Arceus-Ghost is primarily a wallbreaker, capable of demolishing any non-resistant foe with a boosted Never-Ending Nightmare.
* Due to it's its high Speed and access to Extreme Speed, it can also function as a sweeper late-game.
* Be mindful of Arceus-Ghost's health. While it does have good natural bulk, Arceus-Ghost is weak to the two most common priority attacks in Ubers, Sucker Punch from Yveltal and Shadow Sneak from Marshadow and Giratina-O.
* Knowing when to use Never-Ending Nightmare is important. It should primarily be used to eliminate a problematic wall for Arceus-Ghost's teammates. If a Z-Move won't KO a foe and open a hole for a teammate, it's often better to save the Z-Move.
* Be mindful of your opponent switching into something Arceus-Ghost needs its Z-Move to kill. They may switch into a Pokemon that resists Ghost as an attempt to bait out its Z-Move.
* Due to Shadow Force taking two turns to use and having low PP, Arceus-Ghost can be stalled out by most defensive Pokemon after its Z-Move has been used.
* After its Z-Move has been used, teams with a Normal-type and a Ghost-type can stall out Arceus-Ghost by constantly switching, making it useless.
* Since Shadow Force takes two turns to use and Arceus-Ghost's coverage moves are weak, boosting or double switching on a predicted switch is often better than outright attacking.

Team Options
========

* Stealth Rock is mandatory to guarantee a few KOes such as the OHKO on offensive Yveltal and defensive Primal Kyogre with +2 Never Ending Nightmare. A good Stealth Rock user is Tyranitar, which can Pursuit trap Ghost-types and take on Yveltal and Mega Salamence, two of the biggest threats to the Sticky Web teams Arceus-Ghost typically finds itself on.
* Suicide leads appreciate Arceus-Ghost's ability to spinblock and keep entry hazards on the field after they've fainted. Notable leads include Smeargle and Shuckle, which can set Sticky Web that is needed for Arceus-Ghost to beat faster foes such as Marshadow and Ultra Necrozma, and Cloyster, which can set Spikes and allow Arceus-Ghost to KO non-transformed Zygarde and defensive Primal Groudon with a +2 Never-Ending Nightmare.
* Primal Groudon stands out as an appealing partner. Arceus-Ghost defeats support Arceus formes, both Giratina formes, and Lugia, which can pave the way for Primal Groudon to sweep. In return, it can set Stealth Rock, defeat Marshadow, and lure in and KO Zygarde-C if carrying Hidden Power Ice.
* Yveltal checks Ghost-types such as Mega Gengar and Marshadow. It can also use Taunt to prevent Defog, which is the only way to remove hazards aside from Rapid Spin.
* Xerneas defeats Marshadow, Zygarde-C, and Dark-types for Arceus-Ghost. In return, Arceus-Ghost destroys special walls for Xerneas.
* Mega Lucario takes on the Normal- and Dark-types that Arceus-Ghost has trouble breaking through. Together, they can overwhelm each other's checks, such as Primal Groudon.
* Mega Salamence checks Marshadow with Intimidate and draws in and dents physical walls such as Primal Groudon. In return, Arceus-Ghost breaks the majority of defensive answers to Mega Salamence, which can allow it to sweep.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

* A Calm Mind set can be used to take advantage of its great natural bulk and offensive typing. However, it lacks immediate power, and Arceus-Ghost's lack of resistances makes it difficult to set up enough Calm Mind boosts to be threating.
* Ice Beam is an option to consistently beat Mega Salamence and Zygarde-C. However, the former is always KOed by a boosted Never-Ending Nightmare, even accounting for an Attack drop from Intimidate, while the latter can be used as setup fodder with Substitute.
* Refresh allows Arceus-Ghost to relieve itself of status, which can be helpful if it was statused on the switch. However, Substitute lets Arceus-Ghost avoid status and has other uses as well, making Refresh an inferior choice in most situations.
* A support set utilizing Defog may seem usable due to Arceus-Ghost's inability to be trapped and its ability to defeat Mega Lucario. However, its lack of relevant resistances makes this set outclassed by other Arceus formes.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Yveltal**: Yveltal resists Ghost and only takes neutral damage from Brick Break. In return, it either OHKOes Arceus-Ghost with Dark Pulse or Foul Play or removes entry hazards on the field with Defog. However, it must be wary of Stone Edge, and offensive variants are KOed by a +2 Never-Ending Nightmare after Stealth Rock damage.

**Marshadow**: Marshadow outspeeds Arceus-Ghost and OHKOes it with Spectral Thief, stealing any boosts Arceus-Ghost has accumulated and threatening to countersweep. Even if Sticky Web is on the field, Marshadow can pick off a weakened Arceus-Ghost with Shadow Sneak. However, Marshadow can't switch into Arceus-Ghost, and loses if Arceus-Ghost is at full health with Sticky Web on the field.

**Dark-types**: Dark-types resist Arceus-Ghost's STAB move and threaten it out with their own super effective STAB moves. Arceus-Dark has enough bulk to take a boosted Brick Break and KO back with Judgment or use Defog and remove entry hazards. It also has Recover to ensure that it can check Arceus-Ghost throughout a match. Mega Gyarados lowers Arceus-Ghost's Attack with Intimidate before its Mega Evolution and can set up Dragon Dance on Arceus-Ghost. Tyranitar can survive a +2 Brick Break if it's holding a Chople Berry and OHKO back with Foul Play.

**Fast Ghost-types**: Ghost-types can't switch in safely; however, once they have safely switched in, they can threaten Arceus-Ghost with their STAB moves. Mega Gengar naturally outspeeds and OHKOes Arceus-Ghost with Hex if it is statused, or KOes with Shadow Ball if Arceus-Ghost has taken chip damage. If Mega Gengar is using Substitute, Arceus-Ghost will struggle combating it. Lunala can outspeed Arceus-Ghost if holding a Choice Scarf and OHKO with Moongiest Beam after Stealth Rock damage. Necrozma-DW-based Ultra Necrozma outspeeds Arceus-Ghost after Ultra Burst and dents it with Moongeist Beam, though it won't OHKO. However, these Pokemon lose to Arceus-Ghost if it's behind a Substitute or Sticky Web is on their side of the field.

**Zygarde-C**: Zygarde-C shrugs off attacks from Arceus-Ghost thanks to its titanic bulk and stalls out Shadow Force with Substitute. In return, it can inflict status on Arceus-Ghost or phaze it using Dragon Tail. However, defensive variants without Coil let Arceus-Ghost set up with Substitute, and Ice Beam will 2HKO Zygarde-C as well. In addition, if Zygarde hasn't transformed into Complete forme, it falls to a +2 Never-Ending Nightmare after one layer of Spikes.

**Normal-types**: Normal-types are immune to Arceus-Ghost's STAB move, forcing it to use a rather weak coverage move to beat them. If used with a Ghost-type, Arceus-Ghost can be stalled out indefinitely, as Shadow Force requires two turns to use. However, Arceus-Ghost beats every Normal-type one-on-one if it's using Substitute

[OVERVIEW]

*Good all-around stats and a Ghost typing makes Arceus-Ghost a valuable asset to Sticky Web teams
*Thanks to the aforementioned traits, it's the best spinblocker in Ubers

* I think the two points above can be merged and I would also emphasize the fact that it is the bulkiest spinner that actually has some bulk.

*Ghost is a fantastic offensive typing, thanks to Ghost's lack of resistances. This allows it to threaten most pokemon with its STAB attack and set up on forced switches

* I would still keep the emphasis on Ghost's good offensive typing but I would only add the fact that it has setup option in Swords Dance which gives it more sweeping potential unlike something like marsh.

*However, it is hindered by the prominence of Marshadow and Yveltal
*Marshadow naturally outspeeds Arceus, KOs with Spectral Thief, and can reverse sweep with any boosts Arceus-Ghost has acumulated
*Yveltal resists Ghost and isn't threatened by any of Arceus-Ghost's standard coverage. In return, it OHKO's with a Dark type move

* The second and third points can be addressed in Checks & Counters section

*Despite having Arceus's vast movepool, its coverage options are weak, making Arceus-Ghost very reliant on its STAB

* All Swords Dance Arceus variants have similar issues. The main problem for ghostceus is that once Z-move has been used it has to rely on unreliable shadow force. For example against stall once you used never ending nightmare people can switch around shits like mega sab and chansey around

*Arceus-Ghost offers very little defensive synergy, thanks to Ghost's lack of resistances

* While what you said about lack of resistances is true it can still blanket check something with its great natural bulk. It also solid checks Mega Lucario and Necrozma-DM which would be huge threats if you don't get webs up

*This makes it difficult to justify on balance and stall archetypes, especially when considering how much they rely on other Arceus forms to check threatening Pokémon and provide Defog support

* I would just say that ghostceus' main problem is that 1) it is one-dimentional because support sets are outclassed by other arc forms, and 2) that one dimentional-set can't fit anywhere outsides webs.

*Even its inclusion on offensive teams is questionable, due to its weakness to Marshadow and Yveltal, two of the biggest threats to the archetype

* You already have mentioned this above.

*Overall, Arceus-Ghost is a great choice for a few specialized teams, such as Sticky Webs. However, it's opportunity cost of taking up an Arceus form and weakness to two top tier threats means it really doesn't have a place anywhere else

* Opportunity cost concerns apply to taking up Z-move sot as well.

Moves
========

*Swords Dance allows Arceus-Ghost to boost its attack, allowing it to defeat bulkier Pokémon such as Support Arceus forms with a boosted Z-Move
*Shadow Force is Arceus-Ghost's strongest STAB move. It allows it to use a 190BP Never-Ending Nightmare, which can OHKO the majority of bulky Pokémon when combined with Swords Dance. However, the move itself has limited PP and take 2 turns to use, so your opponent can play around it by switching into a Normal type or setting up a Substitute
*Shadow Claw is an alternative STAB option that has more PP and deals damage the turn it's used, so your opponent can't play around it with Substitute or switching into a Normal type. However, it's less powerful and makes a less powerful Z-Move, so Arceus-Ghost can no longer OHKO support Arceus forms with a boosted Never-Ending Nightmare.
*Shadow Claw is preferred over Shadow Force if holding a Spooky Plate, as the main benefit of Shadow Force is having a stronger Z-Move

* I don't think Spooky Plate ghostceus should ever be a thing... I would just say Shadow Claw is more consistent

*Brick Break grants perfect coverage alongside it's Ghost STAB, granting a super-effective hit on the Normal and Dark types
*Substitute can be used to avoid status and Dragon Tail, helping it set up on passive Pokémon such as Zygarde-C and Celesteela and blobs and giratina-a. It also prevents Arceus Ghost from being revenge killed by faster attackers or priority
*Extreme Speed lets Arceus-Ghost to kill Deoxys-Attack before it can move, and allows it to revenge kill weakened sweepers
*Recover gives Arceus-Ghost recovery, allowing it to spinblock throughout the course of a match

Set Details
========

*Jolly with maximum speed investment allows Arceus-Ghost to make best use of it's good speed tier. This lets it speed tie with Mega Salamance, other Arceus forms, and outspeed Mega-Lucario and everything slower
*Max attack investment makes Arceus-Ghost hit as hard as possible. This allows it to kill defensive Primal-Kyogre with +2 Shadow Force after Stealth Rock and defensive non transformed Zygarde with a +2 Never-Ending Nightmare after Spikes
*Ghostium Z allows Arceus-Ghost to use Never-Ending Nightmare, which is needed to break through defensive teams
*Spooky Plate can be used if one of Arceus-Ghost's teammates would rather be using a Z-Crystal. However, this is generally the inferior option, as Arceus-Ghost struggles against the walls it's supposed to defeat without the help of a Z-Move

Usage Tips
========

*Arceus-Ghost should be switched into potential Rapid Spin users such as Excadrill and Cloyster, in order to spinblock
*Swords Dance Arceus-Ghost is primarily a wallbreaker, capable of demolishing any non-resist with a boosted Never-Ending Nightmare
*Due to it's high speed and access to Extreme Speed, it can also function as a sweeper in the endgame
*Be mindful of Arceus-Ghost's health. While it does have good natural bulk, Arceus-Ghost is weak to the two most common priority attacks in Ubers, Marshadow's Shadow Sneak and Yveltal's Sucker Punch
*Knowing when to use Never-Ending Nightmare is important. It should primarily be used to eliminate a problematic wall for a teammate. If a kill won't open a hole for a teammate, it's better to save the Z-Move
*Be mindful of your opponent switching into something Arceus-Ghost needs its Z-Move to kill. They may switch into a Ghost resist next turn, in an attempt to bait out it's Z-Move
*Due to Shadow Force taking to turns to use and having low pp, Arceus-Ghost can be stalled out by most defensive Pokémon after it's Z-Move has been used
*After its Z-Move has been used, teams with a Normal type and a Ghost type can stall out Arceus-Ghost by constantly switching, making it useless
*Since Shadow Force take 2 turns to use and Arceus-Ghost's coverage moves are weak, boosting or double switching on a predicted switch is often better than attacking
*If your opponent has a Zygarde, take care to not activate Power Construct. A full health Zygarde-C requires a +5 Never-Ending Nightmare to kill, while a +2 Never-Ending Nightmare is sufficient to kill a non-transformed Zygarde with Spikes

Team Options
========

*A Sticky Web user such as Smeargle is required to ensure Arceus-Ghost can outspeed and beat threats naturally faster it like as Marshadow and Mega-Gengar.
* Add Shuckle
*Stealth Rock is mandatory to guarantee a few KOs such as the OHKO on Yveltal and defensive Primal-Kyogre with +2 Never Ending Nightmare
*Suicide leads such as Excadrill and Cloyster appreciate Arceus-Ghost's ability to spinblock, keeping hazards on the field after they've fainted
*Xerneas is able to defeat Marshadow, Zygarde-C, and Dark types for Arceus-Ghost. In return, Arceus-Ghost destroys special walls for Xerneas
*Mega-Lucario forms a physical wallbreaking combo with Arceus-Ghost, with Mega-Lucario taking on the Dark types that annoy Arceus-Ghost
*Tyranitar can be used to Pursuit trap opposing Ghosts and take on Yveltal. However, the shared weakness to Marshadow makes this combo questionable, and Pursuit Tyranitar generally doesn't fit on the teams Arceus-Ghost belongs on
* Tyranitar is definitely usable in webs. It can run fast taunt + SR sets that helps ghostceus meet its benchmarks and it typically doesn't run pursuit. Mega Tyranitar is usually used for this and it offensively checks yveltal and mega mence which are the greatest hassles for web teams to deal with.
* Add Taunt users like Yveltal and Mewtwo since they can get rid of webs and can pressure physically defensive walls like zygarde-c and weaken other major foes like pdon so ghostceus can preserve its Z-move for something else if needed be.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

*A Calm Mind set can be used to take advantage of its great natural bulk and offensive typing. However, Arceus-Ghost's lack of resistances makes it difficult to set up enough Calm Minds to be threating
*Ice Beam is an option to consistently beat Mega-Salamence and Zygarde-C. However, the former is always killed by a boosted Never-Ending Nightmare, even when accounting for Intimidate, while the latter is set up on with Substitute
*Stone Edge can be used to always kill offensive Yveltal while boosted. It also kills defensive variants while boosted with the help of Stealth Rock damage. However, it doesn't hit anything else relevant, and the low accuracy is problematic, as Yveltal will always OHKO Arceus-Ghost
*Refresh allows Arceus-ghost to relieve itself of status, which can help if it gets can caught on the switch. However, Substitute lets Arceus-Ghost dodge status and has other uses as well, making Refresh the inferior choice under most conditions
*A support utilizing Defog set seems useable, due to Arceus-Ghost's inability to be trapped and its ability to defeat Mega-Lucario. However, its lack of relevant resistances makes it inferior to other Arceus-Forms

* Kill -> KO, I know pokemon is animal brutality but killing doesn't actually happen in PS

Checks and Counters
===================

**Marshadow**: Marshadow outspeeds Arceus-Ghost and OHKO with Spectral Thief, stealing any boosts Arceus-Ghost has accumulated and threatens a countersweep. Even if webs are on the field, Marshadow can kill a weakened Arceus-Ghost with Shadow Sneak. However, Marshadow can't switch in, and loses if Arceus-Ghost is at full health with webs on the field or if it's behind a substitute.

**Yveltal**: Yveltal resists Ghost and only takes neutral damage from Brick Break. In return, it OHKOs with either Dark Pulse or Foul Play, or it clears away any hazards on the field with Defog. However, offensive variants are killed by a +2 Never-Ending Nightmare after Stealth Rock damage.

**Dark Types**: Dark types resist Arceus-Ghost's STAB and threaten it out with their own super effective STAB moves. Arceus-Dark has enough bulk to take a boosted Brick Break, and kill it with Judgement, or Defog away hazards. It also has Recover to make sure it can check Arceus-Ghost throughout a match. Mega-Gyrados lowers Arceus-Ghost's attack with Intimidate before mega evolving, and can set up Dragon Dance. Tyranitar can survive a +2 Brick Break if it's holding a Chople Berry and OHKO with Foul Play.

**Fast Ghost Types**: Ghost types can't switch in safely, however once they're in they can threaten out Arceus-Ghost with their STAB move. Mega-Gengar naturally outspeeds and OHKO with Hex if Arceus-Ghost is already statused, or KO with Shadow Ball if Arceus-Ghost has taken chip damage. If Mega-Gengar is using Substitute, Arceus-Ghost will be unable to touch it. Lunala can outspeed Arceus-Ghost using a Choice Scarf and OHKO with Moongiest Beam with Stealth Rock damage. However, these checks lose to Arceus-Ghost if webs are on their side of the field.

* Not sure if scarf lunala is even relevant anymore, gonna let QC decide

**Zygarde-C**: Zygarde-C shrugs off attacks from Arceus-Ghost thanks to its titanic bulk. In return, it can inflict a status on Arceus-Ghost, or phase it out using Dragon Tail, resetting any boosts it has accumulated. However, Substitute lets Arceus-Ghost set up on it, Ice Beam will 2HKO it, and if Zygarde hasn't transformed into complete form it falls to a +2 Never-Ending Nightmare

* Mention that defensive variants are shit on by substitute variants if they don't have coil

Banned deucer.
Substitute should be the main slot move before anything else in Slot 4, Stone Edge can be slashed with Brick Break, instead of being in OO, it's something i've used to effectively deal with Ho-Oh / Salamence without consuming the Z Crystal for more prominent targets and scores KO's on Yveltal, etc, Ekiller is not as common as it used to be, you lose out on the coverage vs blobs however which is rather annoying, but behind a sub they can't touch Ghostceus so you can just set up on them.

Team options is looking a bit barren, You mention Mega Ttar further down for sr, so you should just merge it with the other examples of SR setters such as Primal Groudon. Life Orb Yveltal has a good offensive synergy and should get a mention.

Hazard leads such as sticky webs and the aforementioned cloyster and excadrill could be merged into one point too.

I feel like the intro hypes sticky web too much, especially with the overlap of the first and last points. That may be a significant application, but this Pokemon isn't that shallow.

Add "Normal-types" as the last point in C&C. They can potentially be used to switch into Z move or pivot to invalidate Shadow Force.

*Good all-around stats and a Ghost typing makes Arceus-Ghost the best spinblocker in Ubers
There are a lot of good Ghosts in the tier capable of spinblocking just due to how weak spinners tend to be (Cloyster is the only one that can threaten spinblockers). Adding a "one of" to this line would suit me way better.

I talked with Cynara and these came to mind. Extreme Speed does little for Ghostceus when put with its main area (webs). Shadow Force is pretty much necessary to function. If Shadow Claw is really wanted it has to be in slot 4. Spooky Plate should be mentioned in Set Details but without a slash imo, same applies to Extreme Speed.
*If your opponent has a Zygarde, take care to not activate Power Construct. A full health Zygarde-C requires a +5 Never-Ending Nightmare to OHKO, while a +2 Never-Ending Nightmare is sufficient to KO a non-transformed Zygarde with Spikes
This only really applies to defensive sets. Offensive Zygarde in 50% forme (much more common atm) is OHKO'd at +2, and Zygarde-C's best bulk range (usually at like 70ish if Power Construct was activated well) is still one shot too. I'm also willing to bet defensive Zygarde-C loses hard to SubSD variants without Coil.
*Be mindful of Arceus-Ghost's health. While it does have good natural bulk, Arceus-Ghost is weak to the two most common priority attacks in Ubers, Sucker Punch from Yveltal and Shadow Sneak from Marshadow and Giratina
Giratina-O, for clarity.
*Mega-Lucario appreciates Arceus-Ghost beating Lugia and can take on the Dark Types that Arceus-Ghost can't break through. Together, they form a wallbreaking combo that can overwhelm each others checks.
It's not so much breaking Lugia as it is just blowing holes in general fat mons when combined. Lucario beats non-Psychic Lugia and is always boned if Multiscale is broken so maybe a reword to general bulky pokemon overloading is ideal here. Lucario takes advantage of situations where Normal-types are switched in to bait Shadow Force as well.

Give this a GP once-over adding stuff like full stops to the end of each line as they are still necessary for skeleton-type analyses to reduce GP workload and likely speed up the time you wait for checks. This might help you out.

*Swords Dance allows Arceus-Ghost to boost its attack, attack allowing it to and defeat bulkier Pokémon such as Support Arceus forms with a boosted Z-Move.
*Shadow Force is Arceus-Ghost's strongest STAB move. It allows it to use a 190BP Never-Ending Nightmare, which can OHKO the majority of bulky Pokémon Pokemon when combined with Swords Dance. boosts. However, the move itself has limited PP and take 2 turns to use, so your opponent can play around it by switching into a Normal type or setting up a Substitute.
*Shadow Claw is an alternative STAB option that has more PP and deals damage the turn it's used, so your opponent can't play around it with Substitute or switching into a Normal type. However, it's less powerful and its lower base power makes a less powerful Z-Move, so Arceus-Ghost can no longer OHKO support Arceus forms with a +2 Never-Ending Nightmare..
*Brick Break grants perfect coverage alongside it's Arceus-Ghost's Ghost STAB, STAB Ghost-type attack, granting a super-effective providing Arceus-Ghost with a way to super effectively hit on the Normal and Dark types.
*Stone Edge can be used instead to so that Arceus-Ghost can beat Yveltal, Ho-Oh, and Mega-Salamence while boosted without using being reliant on its Z-Move.

*Max Maximum attack Attack investment makes allows Arceus-Ghost to hit as hard as possible. This allows it to kill KO defensive Primal-Kyogre with +2 Shadow Force after Stealth Rock and defensive non - (AH) transformed Zygarde with a +2 Never-Ending Nightmare after a layer of Spikes.
*Ghostium Z allows Arceus-Ghost to use Never-Ending Nightmare, which is needed to break through defensive teams.
*Spooky Plate can be used if one of Arceus-Ghost's teammates would rather be is already using a Z-Crystal. However, this is generally the an inferior option, as Arceus-Ghost struggles against the walls it's supposed to defeat without the help of a Z-Move.

Usage Tips
========

*Arceus-Ghost should be switched into potential Rapid Spin users such as Excadrill and Cloyster, in order to spinblock.
*Swords Dance Arceus-Ghost is primarily a wallbreaker, capable of demolishing any non-resist Pokemon that does not resist its Ghost-STAB move with a boosted Never-Ending Nightmare.
*Due to it's high speed and access to Extreme Speed, it can also function as a sweeper in the endgame. late-game.
*Be mindful of Arceus-Ghost's health. While it does have a good natural bulk, Arceus-Ghost is weak to the two most common priority attacks in Ubers, Sucker Punch from Yveltal and Shadow Sneak from Marshadow and Giratina-O.
*Knowing when to use Never-Ending Nightmare is important. It should primarily be used to eliminate a problematic wall for a Arceus-Ghost's teammate. If a kill Z-Move won't KO a foe and open a hole for a teammate, it's often better to save the Z-Move.
*Be mindful of your opponent switching into something Arceus-Ghost needs its Z-Move to kill. They may switch into a Pokemon that resists Ghost resist next turn, in as an attempt to bait out it's its Z-Move.
*Due to Shadow Force taking to turns to use and having low pp, Arceus-Ghost can be stalled out by most defensive Pokémon Pokemon after it's its Z-Move has been used.
*After its Z-Move has been used, teams with a Normal - (AH) type and a Ghost type can stall out Arceus-Ghost by constantly switching, making it useless.
*Since Shadow Force take 2 two turns to use and Arceus-Ghost's coverage moves are weak, boosting or double switching on a predicted switch is often better than outright attacking.

*Extreme Speed lets Arceus-Ghost KO Deoxys-Attack before it can move and revenge kill weakened sweepers.
*Recover provides Arceus-Ghost with recovery, allowing it to spinblock throughout the course of a match.

Set Details
========

*A Jolly nature with maximum speed investment allow Arceus-Ghost to make the best use of its good speed tier. This lets it speed tie with Mega Salamance, other Arceus formes, and outspeed Mega Lucario and everything slower.
*Ghostium Z allows Arceus-Ghost to use Never-Ending Nightmare, which is needed to break through defensive teams.
*Spooky Plate can be used if one of Arceus-Ghost's teammates is already using a Z-Crystal. However, this is generally an inferior option, as Arceus-Ghost struggles against the walls it's supposed to defeat without the help of a Z-Move.

Usage Tips
========

*Arceus-Ghost should be switched into potential Rapid Spin users such as Excadrill and Cloyster in order to spinblock.
*Swords Dance Arceus-Ghost is primarily a wallbreaker, capable of demolishing any non-resistant foe with a boosted Never-Ending Nightmare.
*Due to it's its high speed and access to Extreme Speed, it can also function as a sweeper in the late-game.
*Be mindful of Arceus-Ghost's health. While it does have good natural bulk, Arceus-Ghost is weak to the two most common priority attacks in Ubers, Sucker Punch from Yveltal and Shadow Sneak from Marshadow or Giratina-O.
*Knowing when to use Never-Ending Nightmare is important. It should primarily be used to eliminate a problematic wall for Arceus-Ghost's teammate. If a Z-Move won't KO a foe and open a hole for a teammate, it's often better to save the Z-Move.
*Be mindful of your opponent switching into something Arceus-Ghost needs its Z-Move to kill. They may switch into a Pokemon that resists Ghost next turn, as an attempt to bait out its Z-Move.
*Due to Shadow Force taking to turns to use and having low PP, Arceus-Ghost can be stalled out by most defensive Pokemon after its Z-Move has been used.
*After its Z-Move has been used, teams with a Normal-type and a Ghost-type can stall out Arceus-Ghost by constantly switching, making it useless.
*Since Shadow Force take two turns to use and Arceus-Ghost's coverage moves are weak, boosting or double switching on a predicted switch is often better than outright attacking.

Team Options
========

*Stealth Rock is mandatory to guarantee a few KOes such as the OHKO on offensive Yveltal and defensive Primal Kyogre with +2 Never Ending Nightmare. A good Stealth Rock user is Tyranitar, which can Pursuit trap Ghost-types and take on Yveltal and Mega Salamence, two of the biggest threats to the Sticky Web teams Arceus-Ghost typically finds itself on.
*Suicide leads appreciate Arceus-Ghost's ability to spinblock and keep hazards on the field after they've fainted.
*Primal Groudon stands out as an appealing partner.
*Yveltal checks Ghost-types such as Mega Gengar and Marshadow. It can also use Taunt to prevent Defog, which is the only way to remove hazards aside from Rapid Spin.
*Xerneas defeats Marshadow, Zygarde-C, and Dark-types (AH) for Arceus-Ghost. In return, Arceus-Ghost destroys special walls for Xerneas.
*Mega Lucario takes on the Normal- and Dark-types that Arceus-Ghost has trouble breaking through. Together, they can overwhelm each other's checks, such as Primal Groudon.
*Mega Salamence checks Marshadow with Intimidate (Comment: Are you really sure about this? The most common coverage move on LO Marshadow is Hidden Power Ice. I'd consider removing this bullet itself.) and lures in and dents physical walls such as Primal Groudon. Arceus-Ghost breaks the majority of Pokemon that check defensive Mega Salamence. (Comment: defensive Mega Salamence doesn't sweep. Or am I missing something here?) answers, paving the way for it to sweep.
(^This bullet point needs a lot of work in general, address the comments that DMDW left and rewrite it and I'll take another look)

Other Options
=============

*A Calm Mind set can be used to take advantage of its Arceus-Ghost's great natural bulk and offensive typing. However, it lacks immediate power, and Arceus-Ghost's lack of resistances makes it difficult to set up enough Calm Minds multiple Calm Mind boosts to be threating. and pose a threat.

*Ice Beam is an option to consistently beat Mega Salamence and Zygarde-C. However, the former is always killed KOed by a boosted Never-Ending Nightmare, even accounting for an Attack drop from Intimidate, while the latter can be used as setup fodder with Substitute.

*Refresh allows Arceus-Ghost to relieve itself of status, which can be helpful if it got statused on the switch. However, Substitute lets Arceus-Ghost avoid status and has other uses as well, making Refresh an inferior choice in most situations.

*A support set utilizing Defog may seem usable due to Arceus-Ghost's inability to be trapped and its ability to defeat Mega Lucario. However, its lack of relevant resistances makes this set outclassed by other Arceus formes.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Yveltal**: Yveltal resists Ghost and only takes neutral damage from Brick Break. In return, it either OHKOes Arceus-Ghost with Dark Pulse or Foul Play, or removes entry hazards on the field with Defog. However, it must be wary of Stone Edge and offensive variants are KOed by a +2 Never-Ending Nightmare after Stealth Rock damage.

However, Marshadow can't switch into Arceus-Ghost, and loses if Arceus-Ghost is at full health with Sticky Web on the field or if it's behind a substitute. (Comment: Spectral Thief bypasses Substitute, is this sentence still correct?)

**Dark-types**: Dark-types resist Arceus-Ghost's STAB and threaten it out with their own super effective STAB moves. Arceus-Dark has enough bulk to take a boosted Brick Break and KO back with Judgment or use Defog and remove entry hazards. It also has Recover to ensure that it can check Arceus-Ghost throughout a match. Mega Gyarados lowers Arceus-Ghost's Attack with Intimidate before its Mega Evolution, and can set up Dragon Dance on Arceus-Ghost.

Mega Gengar naturally outspeeds and OHKOes Arceus-Ghost with Hex if Arceus-Ghost is statused, or KOes with Shadow Ball if Arceus-Ghost has taken chip damage. If Mega Gengar is using Substitute, Arceus-Ghost will struggle combating it. Lunala can outspeed Arceus-Ghost if holding a Choice Scarf and OHKO with Moongiest Beam with after Stealth Rock damage.

**Zygarde-C**: Zygarde-C shrugs off attacks from Arceus-Ghost thanks to its titanic bulk. In return, it can inflict status on Arceus-Ghost or phaze it using Dragon Tail. However, Defensive variants without Coil let Arceus-Ghost set up with Substitute, and Ice Beam will 2HKO Zygarde-C as well. In addition, if Zygarde hasn't transformed into complete forme, it falls to a +2 Never-Ending Nightmare after Spikes.

**Normal-types**: Normal-types are immune to Arceus-Ghost's STAB, forcing it to use a rather weak coverage move to beat them. If used with a Ghost-type, Arceus-Ghost can be stalled out indefinitely, as Shadow Force requires two turns to use. However, Arceus-Ghost beats every Normal-type one-on-one if it's using Substitute.

DMDW, your check was alright, there was a lot to go over in this analysis. However, you made quite a few unnecessary or incorrect changes instead of focusing on preserving the original writer's voice wherever possible. Also, you missed a few things like the removal of hyphens from Mega [Pokemon] and the formatting of some of your edits was confusing, particularly with all the extra spaces and unconventional color choices.

Look over my check and see what you missed, and if you learn from those mistakes you'll be well on your way.

talkingtree I think I did this properly
for the first comment, it's supposed to mean luke & DM can wreck webs teams that failed to get webs up

for the second one, I changed the sentence ending; I'd like your opinion on it. I'm keeping the shadow point, as hp ice has about 20% useage(less than sash lmao), so mence still checks most of them

*As a result of its natural bulk and typing, Arceus-Ghost can check Mega Lucario and Necrozma-DM, two threatening Pokemon that, without Sticky Web set on their side of the field, are particularly threatening to Sticky Web teams, if Sticky Web isn't on the field.

*Mega Salamence checks Marshadow with Intimidate and lures draws ("lures" implies that the incoming switch is under the impression that it's safe, but it's actually highly threatened) in and dents physical walls such as Primal Groudon. In return, Arceus-Ghost breaks the majority of defensive answers to Mega Salamence, which can allow it to sweep.

Make those^ changes and you're ready for the second check!

[OVERVIEW]
(you should have a space between your bullet (*) and the first word for upload purposes.)

*Good all-around stats and a Ghost typing make Arceus-Ghost one of the best spinblockers in Ubers.
*Ghost is a fantastic offensive typing thanks to its lack of resistances; this lets Arceus-Ghost force out the majority of the tier, giving it free turns to set up with Swords Dance.
*As a result of its natural bulk and typing, Arceus-Ghost can check Mega Lucario and Necrozma-DM, two Pokémon Pokemon that, without Sticky Web set on their side of the field, are particularly threatening to Sticky Web teams
*Arceus-Ghost is very one-dimensional, as any set other than Swords Dance is outclassed by other Arceus formes.
*Arceus-Ghost's lack of notable resistances makes it hard for it to switch in without taking a big hit. This makes Arceus-Ghost's defensive capability quite limited.
*This limitation makes it difficult to justify using Arceus-Ghost on balance and stall archetypes, especially considering how much they rely on other Arceus forms to check threatening Pokemon and provide Defog support.
*It is hindered by the prominence of Pokemon that check it, such as Marshadow and Yveltal.
*Despite having Arceus's a vast movepool, its coverage options are weak, and this makes Arceus-Ghost very reliant on its STAB move. This is a problem due to its main STAB move having low PP and taking 2 two turns to use, which allows your opponent to play around attacks after Arceus-Ghost has used Never-Ending Nightmare.
*Overall, Arceus-Ghost is a great choice for a few specialized teams that require spinblocking. However, its opportunity cost of taking up an Arceus slot and the Z-Crystal while being weak to two top-tier threats means it is difficult to justify in on any other team.

Moves
========

*Swords Dance allows Arceus-Ghost to boost its Attack and defeat bulkier Pokemon such as support Arceus formes with a boosted Z-Move.
*Shadow Force is Arceus-Ghost's strongest STAB move. It allows it to use a 190BP 190-Base Power Never-Ending Nightmare, which can OHKO the majority of bulky Pokemon when combined with Swords Dance boosts. However, the base move has limited PP and takes two turns to use, so your opponent can play around it by switching into a Normal-(AH)type or setting up a Substitute.
*Shadow Claw is an alternative STAB option that has more PP and deals damage the turn it's used, preventing your opponent from playing around it with Substitute or Normal type switchins Normal-type switch-ins. However, its lower Base Power makes a less powerful Z-Move, so Arceus-Ghost can no longer OHKO support Arceus forms with a +2 Never-Ending Nightmare. (this is slashed after sub so move it to after sub)
*Brick Break grants perfect coverage alongside Arceus-Ghost's STAB Ghost-type attack, providing Arceus-Ghost it with a way to super effectively hit Normal- and Dark-types.
*Stone Edge can be used instead to beat Yveltal, Ho-Oh, and Mega Salamence while boosted without using being reliant on its Z-Move.
*Substitute is used to avoid status moves and Dragon Tail, helping Arceus-Ghost to set up on passive Pokemon that rely on status, such as Chansey, Celesteela, and defensive Zygarde-C. It also prevents Arceus-Ghost from being revenge killed by faster attackers or priority moves.
