This prehistoric progenitor of the pitohui has procured a place on the peak of the PU tier thanks to its unique STAB combination, blistering Speed, and high offensive stats. Stone Edge and Earthquake offer strong coverage against many of PU's offensive threats, such as Charizard and Silvally-Steel. U-turn allows Archeops to pivot out of its main switch-ins like Sandaconda. Dual Wingbeat can be run over U-turn to nail Fighting-types such as Passimian and Scrafty. Roost rounds out the set by making sure Archeops never falls into Defeatist range, as well as switching into Charizard more consistently. Charizard and Whimsicott are greatly appreciated to break through bulky physical walls such as Weezing and Palossand; in return, Archeops brings these Pokemon in freely with U-turn. Choice Scarf Passimian makes a great partner for outspeeding foes Archeops cannot revenge kill such as Ribombee and Sneasel, as well as dealing with bulky Rock-types like Gigalith and Regirock. A defensive backbone with Pokemon such as Sandaconda can switch into Pokemon that threaten Archeops out like Lycanroc.

This prehistoric procreator of the pitohui has managed to procure a place in PU the alliteration is cute but emphasizing top tier mon is prolly worth thanks to its unique STAB combination, blistering Speed, and high offensive stats. Stone Edge and Earthquake offer strong coverage against many of PU's offensive threats, such as Charizard and Silvally-Steel. U-turn allows Archeops to pivot out of its main switchin like? into a partner that can abuse them imo just mention sandaconda here and note the "abusers" when going into teammates . Dual Wingbeat can also be run over U-turn in order to hit Fighting-types such as Passimian and Scrafty directly, but makes Archeops much more committal. Roost rounds out the set by making sure Archeops never falls into Defeatist range note how it helps it be a consistent zard answer. Archeops is walled by physically bulky Pokemon such as Aromatisse and Poliwrath, so partners that can take advantage of these Pokemon such as Charizard and Whimsicott are greatly appreciated this can be restructured smth like "x and y can break physical walls like b and c", just don't use poliwrath in this. It can also brings these Pokemon in on a predicted switch with U-turn likely smoother merged w prior point. Choice Scarf Passimian makes a great partner due to its ability to outspeed what Archeops cannot revenge kill such as Ribombee and Sneasel, as well as deal with bulky Rock-types like Gigalith and Regirock; in return, Archeops can chip down shared checks such as Silvally-Fairy and Drudiggon i think this portion is kinda similar to the "shit that goes w uturn" and could just be how it defensively goes well w sandaconda rather than a scarf passi mention since it's more of s mons don't have drawbacks being on same team.
