[SET COMMENTS]
Choice Band Arctovish makes for a very scary, yet quite prediction-reliant, wallbreaker that can break down unprepared teams with ease thanks to its monstrously powerful Fishious Rend, which allows it to pressure frailer Water-resistant Pokemon like Abomasnow and Lanturn. Arctovish's powerful Icicle Crash means Grass-types such as Eldegoss, Flapple, and Gourgeist-S, Pokemon that might look to take a Fishious Rend, fail to pivot in safely. Psychic Fangs is used to hit Toxicroak, which is immune to Fishious Rend thanks to Dry Skin. It also hits Qwilfish harder than anything else Arctovish has. Body Slam helps for coinflip scenarios against bulky Water-types and Toxicroak, while Icicle Spear is an option that gets past Focus Sash Cursola. However, the last moveslot will rarely be the best option in any given scenario, as Arctovish's STAB attacks plus Psychic Fangs are generally much more useful to throw out.

This set should be used early-game to break holes in the opposition, as Arctovish can be quite difficult to confidently switch into. Pivots such as Togedemaru, Rotom, and Silvally-Steel are useful, as Arctovish has a rather mediocre defensive typing and can have some problems getting in to wallbreak. The former two can also use their Electric-type STAB moves to threaten bulky Water-types for Arctovish. Late-game cleaners such as Rapidash and Silvally-Dark appreciate Arctovish wallbreaking early-game. Rapidash in particular can take advantage of Arctovish slowly wearing down the other team's Water-types by finishing them off with Wild Charge. A good defensive backbone is also appreciated, as Arctovish has a habit of being forced out after it has taken a foe down. Bulky Ground-types such as Sandaconda and Golurk can take Electric-type moves and check most of the tier's Fighting-types. Partners such as Ferroseed, Cofagrigus, and Garbodor are good options as well; Ferroseed and Garbodor check Grass-types, while Cofagrigus and Garbodor can handle Fighting-types. All of the aforementioned Pokemon can also set entry hazards to make Arctovish even harder to switch into.

[SET COMMENTS]
Arctovish's main niche comes from its access to Fishious Rend, which doubles in power if Arctovish goes first. This makes making Choice Scarf Arctovish an interesting cleaner that can also break down teams early- and mid-game as well (fluff, doesn't need description for how the move works). In addition, its secondary Ice STAB Icicle Crash means that most Grass- and Dragon-types aren't safe switch-ins. Psychic Fangs is crucial to hit Toxicroak, who otherwise comes in on Fishious Rend with ease thanks to Dry Skin, and Qwilfish, who takes Arctovish's STAB moves fairly effortlessly. Super Fang is used to allow Arctovish to chip the bulky Water-types that might look to take a STAB move, (fluff, already mentioned the limitations of its stabs typing wise so just listing the threats is fine) such as Wishiwashi and Silvally-Water. Water Absorb is the preferred ability, as it allows Arctovish to easily pivot into Water-type moves and heal itself in the process. Notably, this allows it to pivot into Scalds that most of its physically attacking brethren would aim to avoid (two sentences dedicated to water absorb isnt needed when you dont need that much justification over ice body. try to cut it down to at most one sentence on it if you really think its worth talking about). A Jolly nature is required to outrun the Silvally formes, Togedemaru, and Rapidash.

Bulky Water resists are this sets' archenemies, so having ways of dealing with them is mandatory. Grass-types such as Gourgeist-XL, Eldegoss, and Flapple are all teammates that threaten most of the tier's bulkier Water-types. Eldegoss is particularly useful, as it provides Rapid Spin support for Arctovish. This, or another form of hazard removal, such as Defog from the likes of Silvally-Dragon or Rotom-S, is greatly appreciated, as Arctovish gets worn down quickly by entry hazards (mention instead that Rotom helps with Choice Scarf Toxicroak and Mach Punch Gurdurr as well as these are relevant offensive checks that arcto can't deal with). All of the mentioned Pokemon also appreciate Arctovish's quadruple Ice-resist in a pinch, although keep in mind that Abomasnow, the most common Ice-type in the tier, is very threatening to Arctovish as well. Arctovish benefits immensely from hazards on the opponents side of the field, as many things that can stop it from freely spamming Fishious Rend lack reliable recovery. As such, Spikes support from Ferroseed, Garbodor, and Qwilfish and Stealth Rock from the likes of Sandaconda, Clefairy, and Galarian Stunfisk are extremely useful. Finally, a second form of speed control can be useful, as Arctovish is rather slow for a Choice Scarf user. As such, Pokemon such as Togedemaru, Toxicroak, and Indeedee-F being are useful. Togedemaru, in particular, can pivot Arctovish in via U-turn and can threaten the Water-types that Arctovish dislikes with its Electric-type STAB. (fluff)

Choice Band Arctovish makes for a very scary, yet quite prediction reliant, wallbreaker that can break down unprepared teams with ease thanks to its monstrously powerful Fishious Rend. Fishious Rend hits less bulky Water resists, such as Abomasnow and Lanturn, very hard, meaning they are not safe switch-ins at all. In addition, its powerful Icicle Crash means that Eldegoss, Flapple, and Gourgeist-XL have to tread carefully around it as well. Psychic Fangs is used to hit Toxicroak, who is immune to Fishious Rend thanks to Dry Skin. It also hits Qwilfish harder than anything else Arctovish has. Body Slam pushes some damage onto bulky Water-resists such as Wishiwashi, Silvally-Water, and Qwilfish, and can also cripple them with a paralysis. Water Absorb allows for Arctovish to heal itself when it is hit with a Water-type move and means that it doesn't fear Scald burns. (again kind of irrelevant, instead mention a good calc that Adamant has over Jolly; i found no calc myself that was relevant, so if you can't either just mention the strength is generally more useful than the handful of mons you may outspeed with jolly)

This set should be used in the early game to break holes in the opposition early game, as Arctovish can be quite difficult to confidently switch into. Pivots are useful for this set, as Arctovish has a rather mediocre defensive typing and can have some problems getting into wallbreak. Options such as Togedemaru, Rotom-S, and Clefairy are good partners as a result. The former two can also use their Electric-type STAB moves to threaten bulky Water-types for Arctovish. Late-game cleaners appreciate Arctovish wallbreaking early game. Options such as Rapidash and Silvally-Dark work well in this regard. Rapidash, in particular, doesn't mind if Arctovish fails to remove the oppositions bulky Grass-types, and can take advantage of Arctovish slowly wearing down the other teams Water-types by finishing them off with Wild Charge. A good defensive backbone is also appreciated, as Arctovish has a habit of being forced out after it has taken something down. Bulky Ground-types such as Sandaconda and Golurk can take some Electric-type moves and check most of the tiers Fighting-types. A Grass- and Fighting-resists is are also needed, so Garbodor and Ferroseed are good options as well (you can try an rename examples if you need to, but fighting resists are just as important as grass ones, so include them here as well) . All of the aforementioned can set entry hazards to make Arctovish even harder to switch into.

Fishious Rend hits less bulky Water resists, such as Abomasnow and Lanturn, very hard, meaning they are not safe switch-ins at all. (this doesn't seem particularly necessary) In addition, its powerful Icicle Crash means that Eldegoss, Flapple, and Gourgeist-XL Gourgeist-S (more relevant) have to tread carefully around it as well. (reword to talk about how Icicle Crash helps prevent certain Grass-types from safely pivoting into Arctovish on expected Fishious Rends) Psychic Fangs is used to hit Toxicroak, who is immune to Fishious Rend thanks to Dry Skin. It also hits Qwilfish harder than anything else Arctovish has. Body Slam pushes some damage onto bulky Water-resists such as Wishiwashi, Silvally-Water, and Qwilfish, and can also cripple them with a paralysis. (so for the sentence about the last moveslot, I want you to stress that regardless of which option you pick, you'll rarely use it. Body Slam helps for midground plays against teams with Toxicroak + Silvally-Water, whereas Icicle Spear can get past Focus Sash Cursola) Water Absorb allows for Arctovish to heal itself when it is hit with a Water-type move. (irrelevant) An Adamant nature is recommended for maximum power, as Arctovish with a Jolly Nature doesn't outrun too many notable targets. (honestly this reads more like filler than anything)

This set should be used in the early game to break holes in the opposition early game, as Arctovish can be quite difficult to confidently switch into. Choice Band Arctovish makes for a very scary, yet quite prediction reliant wallbreaker that can break down unprepared teams with ease thanks to its monstrously powerful Fishious Rend (ok maybe here you can fit in a point about how rend pressure even resistant foes really effectively). Arctovish's powerful Icicle Crash means Grass-types such as Eldegoss, Flapple, and Gourgeist-S, Pokemon that might look to take a Fishious Rend, fail to pivot in safely..
