Aromatisse serves as a bulky Fairy-type that utilizes Trick Room, Encore, and Disable to defeat hyper offensive threats such as Haxorus and Mimikyu as well as certain stall Pokemon like Milotic and Rotom-W. 136 HP EVs and 244 Defense EVs along with a Relaxed nature allow Aromatisse to absorb powerful hits like neutral-natured Choice Band Haxorus's Iron Tail and Choice Scarf Dracovish's Fishious Rend. 128 Special Attack EVs are invested to nearly always 2HKO Mimikyu after Disguise damage. 0 Speed IVs and a Relaxed nature maximize Aromatisse's effectiveness under Trick Room.

Moonblast hits many metagame-prevalent Pokemon like Dragapult and Choice Scarf Galarian Darmanitan. Aromatisse's remaining three moves are used to set up a combination that forces the foe to damage itself with Struggle. Trick Room allows Aromatisse to outspeed a Pokemon that would normally be faster than it like Choice Scarf Galarian Darmanitan or Liechi Berry Cinderace and force it to struggle by using Encore and Disable, or just Disable if the foe is holding a Choice item. When predicting that a potential Choice item holder like Rotom-H or Togekiss will use Trick, use Encore to give Aromatisse two free turns of Moonblast, which will often secure the win. Similarly, the best play against Mimikyu is to use Encore turn one and play reactively, since Aromatisse is guaranteed to survive two hits. If Mimikyu reveals a Curse stall set or uses Trick, using consecutive Moonblasts will secure the win. Otherwise, Disable will force it to struggle and be defeated by two consecutive Moonblasts.

Against certain stall Pokemon such as Milotic and Dubwool, using Encore turn one followed by a sequence of Moonblast, Trick Room, Disable, and Encore allows you to lock the opposing Pokemon into Struggle for two turns to deal maximum damage. Against some stall Pokemon with Special Defense-boosting moves that do not resist Moonblast like Rotom-W, Snorlax, and Type: Null, Aromatisse can permanently lock them into a boosting move by using Encore turn one. After that, use Trick Room turn two and repeat each of the status moves whenever it expires until the opposing Pokemon breaks out of Encore before the last turn of Trick Room. Once you are at that turn, use Encore followed by Moonblast and Trick Room and repeat. Doing so in this order will allow you to refresh Trick Room and Encore continuously without giving the opposing Pokemon a chance to switch moves. If they instead attack, use Disable on the attacking move and then KO it with consecutive Moonblasts.

Since Aromatisse struggles with most Fire-, Steel-, and Poison-types like stall Rotom-H, Jirachi, Steelix, and Toxtricity, Water-type Pokemon like Yawn + Protect Vaporeon, stall Rotom-W, and either Choice Band or Choice Scarf Dracovish make excellent partners. These Water-types also appreciate Aromatisse's ability to deal with Dragon-types like Dragapult and Fighting-types like Sawk and Conkeldurr. Ground-type Pokemon like Choice Band Steelix and Rhyperior also make for good partners since they are able to check a majority of the Fire-, Steel-, and Poison-type Pokemon that Aromatisse struggles with. Aromatisse in return defeats hard-hitting Pokemon with Water coverage and stall-oriented Pokemon like Choice Specs Hydreigon, Dragapult, and Mandibuzz that would normally win against these Ground-types.

Trick Room allows Aromatisse to outspeed Pokemon that would normally be faster than it like Choice Scarf giga + struggle from band is incredibly threatening as band OHKOs 50% Darmanitan-Galar and Liechi Berry Cinderace force it to struggle by using Encore and Disable, or just Disable if it is a Choice itemed Pokemon. When predicting Trick on a Choice item Pokemon against Pokemon like Rotom-Heat and Togekiss, using Encore will force it to keep using TrickTricking, allowing you to have two free turns of Moonblast which will often secure the win. Against certain stall-users Pokemon such as Milotic and Dubwool, using Encore turn one, followed by a sequence of Moonblast, Trick Room, Disable, and Encore allows you to lock the opposing Pokemon into struggle for two turns to deal maximum damage. Against some stall pokemon with Special Defense boosting moves that do not resist Moonblast like Rotom-Wash, timing Encore and Trick Room correctly can allow you to permanently lock them into the move which will let you eventually KO them. If you’re listing how to use it, make sure you talk about this because it seems really important.

Since Aromatisse struggles with most Fire, Steel, and Poison types that do not use a Choice item like stall Rotom-Heat, uses choice but irrelevant Steelix, and uses choice but irrelevant Toxtricity, Water-type Pokemon like Vaporean, set? Rotom-Wash, and set? Dracovish make excellent partners. Aromatisse appreciates their ability to deal with the Pokemon previously listed, while the Water-types appreciate Aromatisse's ability in dealing with Dragon-types like Dragapult, as well as Fighting-types like Sawk and Conkeldurr. Ground type Pokemon like Choice Band Steelix and Rhyperior also make for good partners since they are able to check a majority of the Fire, Steel, and Poison Pokemon that Aromatisse struggles with a super effective STAB-boosted Earthquake. Aromatisse in return defeats hard-hitting Pokemon with water coverage and stall-oriented pokemon like Choice Specs Hydreigon, Dragapult, and Mandibuzz that would normally win against these Ground-types.
