National Dex AV Lele [QC: 2/2] [GP: 1/1]

[SET]
Assault Vest Lele (Tapu Lele) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Psychic Surge
EVs: 80 HP / 252 SpA / 176 Spe
IVs: 0 Atk
Modest Nature
- Psychic / Psyshock
- Moonblast
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power Fire

[SET COMMENTS]
This set aims to bolster Tapu Lele's special bulk, allowing it to soft-check Pokemon like Raging Bolt and opposing Tapu Lele while still breaking through physically defensive foes such as Landorus-T and Great Tusk. Psychic is good at chunking physical walls like Garganacl and Gliscor, while Psyshock works well against Galarian Slowking, Blissey, and Clodsire. Focus Blast lets Tapu Lele beat out most Steel-types like Kingambit and Iron Treads along with Mega Tyranitar, while Hidden Power Fire enables Tapu Lele to incinerate Mega Scizor, Ferrothorn, and Gholdengo. 176 Speed EVs on Tapu Lele allow it to outrun Adamant maximum Speed Rillaboom and Hisuian Samurott.

Assault Vest Tapu Lele fits well on offensive teams that need it to sponge special attacks while also threatening foes like Great Tusk and Raging Bolt. It also has the ability to block priority moves, which is appreciated by Gholdengo and Iron Valiant, since they're protected against Kingambit and Mega Scizor, respectively, among others. Steel-type teammates like Melmetal and Heatran pair nicely with Tapu Lele, due to it threatening out Fighting-types like Great Tusk and Iron Valiant that these Pokemon would otherwise lose to; in return, they beat foes like Roaring Moon and Gholdengo for it. Tapu Lele is weak to physical attacks, so physical walls like Landorus-T and Great Tusk are a good fit with it to cover for physical threats like Heavy Slam Zamazenta and Garchomp, while Tapu Lele takes special attacks from the likes of Kyurem and Raging Bolt. Pivoting moves like U-turn from the aforementioned Landorus-T and Moltres are also appreciated for safely bringing in Tapu Lele. Hawlucha is good to consider with Psychic Seed, allowing it to activate Unburden and clean Steel-types like Melmental and Kingambit, while Tapu Lele helps it deal with Poison-types like Toxapex and Clodsire with its Psychic-type STAB moves.

literally dex info
This set aims to maximize its Tapu Lele's special bulk and counter counter what? might wanna rephrase this a bit with a fair bit of damage. Focus Blast lets Lele beat out most Steels along with hitting Melmetal and melm is a steel... Tyranitar-Mega, while Hidden Power Fire enables Tapu Lele to burn up Scizor-Mega, (AC) and Ferrothorn and Gholdengo. (this following bit abt psychic/shock should come before fblast and hp fire) Both Psychic and Psyshock are good STAB in combination with Psychic Terrain. filler Psychic is good at chunking physical walls like Garganacl and Gliscor, while Psyshock is good into stall teams, Slowking-Galar and other special walls Galarian Slowking, Blissey and Clodsire. So take your pick. this is DEFFO filler 176 speed on Tapu Lele outruns 252 speed neutral nature base 85 speed pokémon, like Rillaboom and Samurott-Hisui

It also has the ability to block priority moves, fast sweepers like Dragon Dance Dragapult and Calm Mind/Swords Dance Iron Valiant have synergy for allowing them to avoid moves like Scizor-Mega Bullet Punch, Raging Bolt Thunderclap and of course Sucker Punch from everyone Kingambit whos everyone?. Pivoting like U-turn and Volt Switch from who? is also appreciated for safely bringing in Tapu Lele. This set aims to maximize boost Tapu Lele's special bulk should probably mention why this is good, such as letting lele soft check stuff like raging bolt and opposing lele more easily and counter physical walls with a fair bit of special damage while still breaking through physically defensive foes such as Landorus-T and Great Tusk u dont counter them and saying "a fair bit" when its max invest is silly. Focus Blast lets Tapu Lele beat out most Steels along Mega Tyranitar, while Hidden Power Fire enables Tapu Lele to burn up Mega Scizor, Ferrothorn and Gholdengo. Psychic is good at chunking physical walls like Garganacl and Gliscor, while Psyshock is good into Slowking-Galar, Blissey and Clodsire this sentence should come before the coverage moves (analysis standard). 176 speed on Tapu Lele outruns 252 speed neutral nature base 85 speed pokémon, like Rillaboom and Samurott-Hisui.

So I'm supposed to respond to the original post with the edited one?

So I'm supposed to respond to the original post with the edited one?
When someone gives you a quality control check, what you do is make the changes and edit everything back into the original post. You don’t need to repost your changes in the thread, you just edit the original post and then post in the thread to say the check is implemented

The GP team are a team of people who check the analysis for grammar after it’s had two QC checks. They will also reply to the original post and make changes, so keeping that one post up to date is really important.

If you’re struggling with implementing parts of the QC checks you’ve been given, you can look at the video method in point 3 of this post https://www.smogon.com/forums/threa...new-writers-please-read.3588923/#post-7122054
Click “reply” to the post that a QC check is on, address any comments, remove any red colour text, remove formatting and then paste back into the original post.

This set aims to boost Tapu Lele's special bulk <= wording is really weird, seems to imply setup like calm mind rather than the item allowing it to soft-check Pokemon like Raging Bolt can give another example, maybe opposing lele while still breaking through physically defensive foes such as Landorus-T and Great Tusk. Psychic is good at chunking physical walls like Garganacl and Gliscor, while Psyshock is good into Galarian Slowking, Blissey and Coldsire Cold sire?. Focus Blast lets Tapu Lele beat out most Steels give examples, stuff like kgb and treads along Mega Tyranitar, while Hidden Power Fire enables Tapu Lele to burn up <= again wording, kind of implies it has a burn chance do change it Mega Scizor, Ferrothorn and Gholdengo. 176 speed on Tapu Lele outruns 252 speed neutral nature base 85 speed pokémon, like Adamant max Speed nothing else uses this spread, only other relevant base 85 is terap and it uses timid Rillaboom and Hisuian Samurott.

Assault Vest Tapu Lele fits well on offensive teams that need to sponge special attacks elaborate a bit on how lele sponges while not being passive / still dealing big damage, teammates like Melmetal and Heatran pair nicely with Lele why? also make this a different sentence from offensive teams. It also has the ability to block priority moves, which is appreciated by Dragon Dance Dragapult and Iron Valiant, since they're protected against Kingambit and Mega Scizor respectively. Tapu Lele is weak to physical attacks, Physical walls like Landorus-Therian and Great Tusk are a good fit with Tapu Lele for covering for physical threats like Heavy Slam Zamazenta or Garchomp. can mention that lele takes special attacks from rbolt and kyurem for them Pivoting like U-turn and Volt Switch from the aforementioned Landorus-T or Moltres is also appreciated for safely bringing in Tapu Lele. Allowing Tapu Lele to enter unharmed and take a few more attacks before dying. Hawlucha is good to consider with Psychic Seed allowing it to activate Unburden, cleaning Steel-types like Melmental and Kingambit. While Tapu Lele helps Hawlucha deal with Poison-types like Toxapex and Clodsire with its Psychic-type STAB moves.

Assault Vest Tapu Lele fits well on offensive teams that need to sponge special attacks while being able to use powerful Special attacks also appreciating it threatening foes like <insert examples like rbolt>. It also has the ability to block priority moves, which is appreciated by Dragon Dance Dragapult and Iron Valiant, since they're protected against Kingambit and Mega Scizor respectively. Teammates like Melmetal and Heatran pair nicely with Lele, being able to take Poison and Steel type moves from foes like <insert examples> there really are not many relevant poison type clickers, and the only relevant steel move is melmetal itselfs DIB and zamas heavy slam which neither can check; consider cutting this entire sentence that Tapu Lele would otherwise be weak to. Tapu Lele is weak to physical attacks, Physical walls like Landorus-Therian and Great Tusk are a good fit with Tapu Lele for covering for physical threats like Heavy Slam Zamazenta or Garchomp, while also taking special attacks from the likes of Kyurem and Raging Bolt specify that lele is tanking these special hits and not the phys walls. Pivoting like U-turn and Volt Switch from the aforementioned Landorus-T or Moltres is also appreciated for safely bringing in Tapu Lele. Allowing Tapu Lele to enter unharmed and take a few more attacks before dying explain why it is useful, grants momentum to apply more pressure.
