[OVERVIEW]

Bagon finds itself heavily outclassed in the Little Cup metagame by other, more reliable setup sweepers such as Shellder, Tyrunt, and Timburr. Bagon is incredibly frail and takes considerable damage even from neutral attacks, making it difficult for Bagon to safely set up with Dragon Dance. Finally, Bagon lacks any super effective coverage moves or a secondary STAB option to hit Fairy-types such as Spritzee, allowing them to completely trample over it.

[SET]
name: Dragon Dance
move 1: Dragon Dance
move 2: Outrage
move 3: Zen Headbutt / Substitute
move 4: Fire Fang / Substitute
item: Life Orb / Dragonium Z
ability: Sheer Force
nature: Adamant
evs: 236 Atk / 76 Def / 196 Spe
ivs: 0 HP

[SET COMMENTS]

Bagon's best attempt to pull off a sweep is to set up with Dragon Dance against more passive Pokemon such as Ferroseed, as well as Pokemon it can force out such as Choice Scarf Chinchou locked into anything besides Ice Beam. However, Bagon's poor defenses prevent it from acquiring Dragon Dance boosts reliably, and it cannot muscle past Fairy-types such as Spritzee without them being severely weakened. Bagon is also vulnerable to opposing Choice Scarf and priority users such as Pawniard and Timburr due to its low bulk.

overview: don't mention sheer force users or other dragon-types at all; they all suck. instead, mention that bagon is heavily outclassed by other, better setup sweepers such as shellder and snivy. the only fairy-type you need to mention is spritzee; cottonee isn't very good and alolan vulpix isn't actually a fairy type. bagon is also extremely frail; it takes upwards of 60% from most neutral stab attacks. emphasize bagon's lack of coverage against fairy types (why the fuck can't this thing learn iron head) here instead of the set comments.

set: change dragon claw to outrage. unslash rock slide; it's not really hitting anything that outrage isn't. slash substitute in the last 2 slots; it helps bagon set up against status users such as ferroseed and foongus. add 0 hp ivs so it only takes 1 hp of life orb recoil. slash dragonium in the item slot.

set comments: talk about what this set aims to do (set up and sweep) and what hinders it from doing so (bagon's frailty and subpar coverage). reiterate that bagon is outclassed by other setup sweepers and walled by the common spritzee.

[OVERVIEW]

Wouldn't really mention Snivy here since it's so different in terms of being a setup sweeper from the others, Tyrunt is barely viable enough and generally directly outclasses Bagon so it's worth mentioning over Snivy. Add on a statement to the end of the sentence about taking so much damage from even neutral attacks how this makes it difficult for Bagon to safely set up.

[SET]

Looks fine

[SET COMMENTS]

Remove sentence about Bagon's niche, it's not really necessary here. Replace it with a sentence about Bagon's vulnerability to opposing Choice Scarf users and priority due to its low bulk. For the last sentence, remove the part about several boosts because Bagon needs to get to +4 to even stand a chance of breaking a healthy Spritzee and that's somewhat beyond implausible, leave it as just significantly weakened.

After you implement this give yourself 2/2 and go to GP
