XY OU Balanced OU team- Please help me get to 1600!

Light Em Up (Thundurus) (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Nasty Plot
- Focus Blast
- Thunder Wave
Thundurus is usually my lead unless I see the opponent has a talonflame or something else irritating, I'll lead with heatran or gliscor. Thundurus' purpose is pretty simple, thunder wave sweepers, and get off a nasty plot and sweep the opponent if he can. I have demolished entire teams because they let me nasty plot, it's quite hilarious.

It'sTricky (Breloom) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 100 HP / 252 Atk / 100 Def / 56 Spe
- Focus Punch
- Facade
- Spore
- Substitute
Breloom is one of the pokemon that make my team. I saw this set for him on another team, and I decided to try it out and it works like a charm. Most people expect me to spore on the first turn, and they think they're clever and switch into a Venusaur or some other grass type, and then I can just substitute and blast away with facade. The opponent never knows what to expect with this thing and it keeps them second guessing the whole time, focus punch pretty much will Ohko anything that isn't a physical wall or resistant to fighting.

WhatchaGonnaDo (Crawdaunt) @ Life Orb
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Crabhammer
- Dragon Dance
- Superpower
I honestly love crawdaunt. The combo of adaptability and knock off is ridiculous, gives it a base 260 power making it the most powerful move in the game outside of STABbed explosion. switch him in on a psychic type, and the opponent is given a choice. Sacrifice whatever is in at the moment or risk a switch and take heavy damage plus a lost item from knock off. Crabhammer for STAB and superpower for coverage.

BeautifulNightmare (Gardevoir-Mega) @ Gardevoirite
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Hyper Voice
- Psyshock
- Hypnosis
Another one of my favorite pokemon, mega gardevoir is quite frankly a perfect example of a beautiful nightmare. STABbed hyper voice with pixilate boost is powerful on it's own, after a calm mind it reaches ludacris power. Hypnosis could be replaced, I'm just not sure what with

NoIceIceBaby (Gliscor) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 HP / 184 Def / 72 Spe
Impish Nature
- Protect
- Toxic
- Earthquake
- Roost
Gliscor is one of the premier physical walls in OU, and probably one of the best in the game. His ability to toxic stall is unparalleled and poison heal makes him even more frustrating to deal with. As long as he keeps away from ice moves (hence his nickname) he can stall and wall opponents to all hell and force switches.

Burnin' (Heatran) @ Air Balloon
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Fire Blast
- Stealth Rock
- Will-O-Wisp
- Protect
Heatran is the one on my team that might need replacing. I didn't know what to put so I used heatran as a special wall, which he does well but probably could be done better by another mon, I'm just not sure which one. His set is standard, not much explaining necessary.

Any and all input is welcome and appreciated, please give advice and help me get to 1600 and possibly into the top 500 on showdown! Thank you all!

Nice team friend :)
I would recommend making slot for Aqua jet for Crawdaunt (maybe replace Superpower) because of the lack of priority moves in your team. Also you have Heatran and Focus Blast on Thundurus so Ferrothorn may not be a problem to handle (I believe Spower is for Ferro). Also beware of Belly Drum Azumarill since it pretty much OHKO anything in your team.
Good luck on the ladder :)

Thanks deepwalker! Superpower was originally for bisharp and ferrothorn, but with the addition of heatran you are right ferro is probably not much of a threat. I will replace superpower with aqua jet and see how that works out, thank you for the help!

Hypnosis is quite the redundancy because of all the Pokemon that can use status moves on your team as well as two Sleep-inducing Pokemon.
I was thinking about this team not being to switch in on Greninja, but when I read deepwalker's comment on Azumarill, I realized your team doesn't fare too well against typical Water-types with Water/Ice coverage. So Gardevoir can use Thunderbolt to deal with both issues.

I can sure imagine Breloom's moves causing massive damage, and its typing allows for defense on either side, but do you know what those Def EVs are for? I'd use
108hp/92def or 140hp/60def and 172hp/28def. Breloom gets an extra HP from Poison Heal like this.

Hello! I notice you are using dragon dance crawdaunt. While crawdaunt is a great pokemon that can perform well in his niche, dragon dance is unfortunately not really his niche. Dragon dance crawdaunt in incredibly slow even after a dragon dance, and I believe is outspeed by base 105s and everything faster.

There are several way you could remedy this problem. One would be to use gyarados over mega pinsir. Gyarados has better bulk, better typing, and much higher speed than crawdaunt. With 216 speed EVs and an adamant nature, it outspeeds greninja after a dragon. Gyarados's dragon dance set has some variation. You can run waterfall, EQ, and bounce, or forfeit one of EQ or bounce, for taunt/substitute, which allows you to set up on Chansey, skarmory, Hippowdon lacking rock slide, and more!

You could also use an Swords dance crawdaunt, or even a choice band crawdaunt. Both absolutely murder any stall teams, and retain the powerful knock off you use crawdaunt for.

Lastly, you can use azumarill over crawdaunt. Azumarill has several sets it can use.

The one I would recommend is assault vest azumarill. It makes a great offensive pivot, and allows you a switch in to greninja and keldeo, as well as beating thundurus one on one. Azumarill has great synergy with heatran, forming a fairy/steel core.

You can also try out choice band azumarill, who also murders stall, through I think mega gardevoir does that well enough and would recommend using the AV set.

You should probably replace hypnosis with focus blast on your Gardevior. Hypnosis is unreliable, and can lose you a match. It's also rather redundant to have two sleep inducing mons on the same team. Focus blast allows you to to bet steel types outside of aegislash and mega scizor.

Here are the sets for te mons I recommended:

Gyarados @ leftovers/lum berry/life orb
Adamant nature
40 HP/252 Atk/252Spe
-Dragon dance
-waterfall
-earthquake/bounce
-bounce/taunt/substitute.

Azumarill @ assault vest
Adamant nature
4HP/252Atk/252SpDef
-knock off
-waterfall
-play rough
-aqua jet

Swords dance and banded crawdaunt run te same nature, with an adamant nature.

I apologize for the messy rate and no sprites, im typing from my iPod.
