[SET COMMENTS]
Thanks to Barraskewdas high Attack, stellar Speed and newfound access to Flip Turn, Barraskewda becomes the best physical Rain sweeper in the tier. Its speed is high enough to run Adamant purely and still outspeed the variety of the OU metagame. Psychic Fangs gives Barraskewda a way to hit Toxapex and Amoongus super effectively while removing screens against screens hyper offense. Close Combat allows Barraskewda to hit Ferrothorn and Kyurem, which otherwise couldn't hit even effectively, which gives Barraskewda the edge over other rain sweepers like Kingdra. Flip Turn lets Barraskewda leeway when it comes to 50/50s and lets Barraskewda pivot out of risky situations, but Crunch can be used if you want to hit Dragapult mainly. The main STAB is interchangable, Waterfall is mainly used for the chance to flinch, and Liquidation is used for more power and the Defense drop chance to easily steamroll through the team, both being boosted by rain.

Barraskewda is mainly used on rain teams, so staples like Pelipper and Ferrothorn are very important to Barraskewda's success. Pelipper can slowly U-turn bringing in Barraskewda safely, and Ferrothorn can set up Stealth Rocks or Spikes and cover both of Barraskewdas weakenesses. Barraskewda pairs well with Kingdra in rain to form an offensive rain core, where Kingdra has access to Hurricane, allowing to beat the Grass- type checks and becomes spam-able in the rain while outspeeding fast Dragon- types like the aforementioned Dragapult. Barraskewda can be used outside of rain teams thanks to its high speed, but its outclassed by other fast offensive threats like Zeraora. Barraskewda must not stay in against Rillaboom because Grassy Slide just OHKO's Barraskewda. Ushifu-Rapid-Strike takes advantage of Barraskewda's wallbreaking prowess in the rain and use Surging Strikes on a weakened team, while dealing with Ferrothorn with STAB Close Combat, letting Barraskewda spam water moves in the rain much easier.
