Barraskewda makes for a decent late-game sweeper on rain teams thanks to its amazing Speed tier and Swift Swim, allowing it to outspeed the entire metagame, as well as its great Attack. Liquidation allows Barraskewda to 2HKO defensive Pokemon like Corviknight and Clefable under rain. Close Combat allows it to 2HKO Ferrothorn and Rotom-W as well as safely OHKO Cloyster thanks to Swift Swim; however, be careful against Ferrothorn, as Power Whip or Knock Off will cripple your chances of cleaning. Psychic Fangs helps Barraskewda pressure Toxapex and Kommo-o, though you must be cautious of a burn from Scald when facing Toxapex. Aqua Jet is useful to revenge kill Pokemon outside of rain, such as Dugtrio, weakened Zeraora, and +1 Excadrill. Crunch can be used if specifically targeting Dragapult and Jellicent is more desirable, but the priority from Aqua Jet is often too useful to pass on. An Adamant nature grants Barraskewda a good chance to OHKO Clefable under rain, helps it potentially 2HKO Toxapex, and lets it always OHKO Sylveon under rain.

Since Barraskewda is only really useful on rain teams, Pelipper is an obvious choice of a partner, activating its Swift Swim and powering up its Water-type moves; moreover, if Pelipper is running U-turn, it can slow pivot Barraskewda into weakened Pokemon to finish them off. Dracovish is also an excellent partner, softening up Pokemon like Toxapex and Ferrothorn for Barraskewda to better take on. Other Swift Swim users, such as Seismitoad, Mantine, and Ludicolo, can form an offensive core with Barraskewda and either capitalize on the damage it does or weaken targets such as Zeraora, Clefable, and Rotom-W for it to revenge kill without risking being KOed itself or statused. Finally, Ferrothorn is a useful teammate thanks to its ability to slowly break down the enemy team with entry hazards and Leech Seed, which Barraskewda greatly appreciates.

Barraskewda makes for a good late-game sweeper on rain teams thanks to its amazing Speed tier and Swift Swim, allowing it to outspeed the entire metagame, as well as its great Attack. Liquidation is Barraskewda's strongest move, allowing it to 2HKO defensive Pokemon like Corviknight and Calm Mind Clefable under rain. Close Combat allows it to 2HKO Ferrothorn probably worth mentioning that you also 2hko rotom-w here. and even OHKO Cloyster safely thanks to Swift Swim; however, be careful against Ferrothorn, as Power Whip or Knock Off will ruin or cripple your chances of cleaning. Psychic Fangs helps Barraskewda pressure Toxapex mention Kommo-o here too, though you must be cautious of a burn from Scald. Aqua Jet is useful to revenge kill Pokemon outside of rain, such as Dugtrio, Choice Scarf Rotom-H not really as common anymore, perhaps mention something like a weakened zeraora since you're doing like upwards of 40 to hasty zeraora and +1 Excadrill. Crunch can be used if targeting Dragapult and Aegislash Aegislash already takes a fuckton from liquidation in rain so specifically mention Jellicent here since you're mostly running it to punish it in particular. better is more desirable, but the priority from Aqua Jet is often too useful to pass on. An Adamant nature allows Barraskewda to always OHKO Sylveon probably worth mentioning that it has a favourable chance to ohko clef since that's def a lot more relevant atm under rain and better pressure Toxapex by occasionally outdamaging its Recover. A Jolly nature can help it somewhat if the foe has many Speed boosts, but Adamant is often the the best and relevant option.

Since Barraskewda is only really useful on rain teams, Pelipper is an obvious choice of a partner by activating Swift Swim and powering up its Water-type moves; moreover, if Pelipper is running U-turn, it can slow pivot Barraskewda into weakened Pokemon to finish off. Dracovish is also an excellent partner for Barraskewda, softening up Pokemon like Toxapex and Ferrothorn for Barraskewda to better take on; in return, Barraskewda can face Pokemon that would outspeed Dracovish if it's not running Choice Scarf it's pretty much all scarf on rain tho so maybe remove this point?, such as Hydreigon and Dugtrio. Other Swift Swim users, such as Seismitoad, Mantine, and Ludicolo, can form an offensive core with Barraskewda and either capitalize on the damage it does or weaken targets give examples for it to revenge kill. Finally, Ferrothorn is a useful teammate thanks to its ability to slowly break down the enemy team with entry hazards and Leech Seed, which Barraskewda greatly appreciates.

Barraskewda makes for a good I'd say "decent" since Barraskewda is honestly not that great late-game sweeper on rain teams thanks to its amazing Speed tier and Swift Swim, allowing it to outspeed the entire metagame, as well as its great Attack. Liquidation is Barraskewda's strongest move, allowing it to 2HKO defensive Pokemon like Corviknight and Calm Mind Clefable under rain. Other Clefable sets can be physically defensive too. Close Combat allows it to 2HKO Ferrothorn and Rotom-W as well as even OHKO Cloyster safely thanks to Swift Swim; however, be careful against Ferrothorn, as Power Whip or Knock Off will ruin or cripple your chances of cleaning. Crunch can be used if targeting Dragapult and Jellicent better is more desirable, but the priority from Aqua Jet is often too useful to pass on. An Adamant nature allows Barraskewda to always OHKO Sylveon and a good chance to OHKO Clefable under rain and better pressure Toxapex by occasionally outdamaging its Recover 2HKO Toxapex. You have a chance to 2HKO Toxapex (with Stealth Rock chip and/or Black Sludge knocked off) on the switch or if they choose to go for another move so I wouldn't bother talking about outdamaging Recover. Also, I'd mention Sylveon last since it's a lot less relevant than Clefable and Toxapex right now. A Jolly nature can help it somewhat if the foe has many Speed boosts, but Adamant is often the the best and relevant option. I feel like Jolly is pretty much never worth it honestly.
