Sorry about that, sometimes the calc glitches up and doesn't respond to changes, meaning the damage is wrong. However, 9.5 for Hex is correct. I got Blast to explain the formula to me, using: (BP + STAB + CRIT + RANK DIFFERENCE * 1.5) * TYPE + STAGE DIFFERENCE * 1.5, which gives (5+3+0+1.5)*1+0 = 9.5. I think you've calculated it as if it were a crit maybe? We were both at +1 Spa/SDef.
E: Blast also tells me that the stats are messed up in my post. It has been altered to have a Rash nature despite being Modest. Since I've been playing this whole match as if I were Modest, I'll continue with using that.
