Tournament BDPL IX - Grand Final (Won by Dhaka Diancies)

I want to give individual shout-outs to all my players. Players who made the last three months so much fun and exciting. I'm so honored to manage this bunch, seriously.

Jojen : Jojen, you were my very first buy. I knew right from the get-go I had to get a strong Uber guy so that I don't have to worry about Ubers at all because, honestly, without enough meta knowledge, this is a hard tier to manage. And boy oh boy, you really delivered. Thank you so much for giving us those crucial wins, be it an equalizer or giving us the lead. You are truly the best Uber player of this tournament, hands down.

kimerCat : Kimer, another GOAT! Not just your positive record, but how much you have contributed to the other tiers, like giving teams and even introducing us to the GOAT Ryu Snow. Just like Ubers, I always felt I didn’t have to worry about UU because you were handling it.

adorluigi : I'm so impressed with how well you have handled RU in the last couple of weeks and in the knockouts. Obviously, a massive shout-out is coming for Ryu below, who helped you practice and provided teams, but it was you who played the game and you who got those clean 6-0s. In my honest opinion, you should take this tier very seriously. I think you will really excel at it. All the best to you, and I really want you to excel in this tier.

Typical_bastard : I absolutely loved your presence in my Discord, dude. You just made the whole environment so fun. I loved how you would "RFN" at the start of a week and get us an insta-win. Although this wasn't a viable strategy in the end, regardless, you are really an awesome player and definitely were value for money.

Fluore : I know you lost your rhythm this tournament, but please do not get demotivated. They say form is temporary, but class is permanent. You are known as a good player in the community, and soon enough, you will pick up your rhythm again and start slaying. Your record may show negative, but the two wins you got us definitely helped win the week. So don't feel bad.

cen344uu : I know you have been blaming yourself for not being the right fit for this team because of your record, but trust me when I say this: when I got you for the price in the auction, I really thought it was a steal. I still think, for the older generation, you are a very solid player. This is on me, and I take the blame as a manager for not bringing the best out of you.

Rowlet69420 : A true manager in the making. He is your future manager. That's it. From providing scouts to every channel to giving team suggestions to being available for practice at any time, this guy's motivation and dedication are unparalleled and unmatched. You were literally the catalyst that kept us going, and I will personally make sure that you manage a team next year, as you have every bit of managerial trait in you. As for your records, yes, the finals were a hiccup, but in my eyes, it’s a very minor issue compared to what you have done for the team.

Nazib : I am just truly impressed by the sudden rise of you. Your enthusiasm and motivation to win this whole thing amidst your very busy life really were truly unbelievable. You really gave your 100%, and I’m sorry that I could not give you the trophy with this much enthusiasm and effort. I really feel bad that I couldn't give you your first trophy, but I know next year, whichever team you go to, you will be a solid buy and a solid asset. I really hope you get the trophy that you absolutely deserve next season.

GrabTheSpeed : I really tried my best to make you a good player this tournament, and I think you are one of my players who has a positive record, so the results show for themselves. On top of that, how you took time to ladder all night right before the night of Pooja for your semifinal games was really, really impressive. I can assure you, next season, your price will go high after this performance. Please don't stop practicing Gen 9 OU. You have shown promise in this tier, and if you keep playing, you will be really good at it.

Sadi Tonmoy : As always, your contribution to the team is unmatched, unparalleled. It’s always so impressive to see how much you are committed to a team tour and how emotionally invested you are. From sharing team dumps to giving suggestions to keeping the team environment amazing, you really did your part as a co-manager. Sorry that this is the second time you played under me and lost a final, but one day we will get there; I promise you this. Also, look at the names you have slain in ORAS OU. You should seriously consider taking ORAS as your main tier.

skrubrekker69 : I am so impressed with how much you have improved as a player. When BDPL comes and if the team starts doing well, that is when you will really start excelling, and I know for a fact your efforts are genuine. Again, I’m sorry I couldn't give you the trophy. You had a good run this tournament, and I want you to take Sun and Moon very seriously. I think you will be a top player in this tier.

@SGgarac: I'm so sorry I could not give you enough matches and enough practice. This is completely on me. I know you really asked for those practice sessions and team-building sessions, but due to odd timing, I couldn't synchronize. That being said, I always love how you were always engaged with the team, always keeping updates and always celebrating our wins. It was very noble of you to understand that all the tiers got covered by the better players, so thank you so much for that too.

Ryu : A special massive shout-out to the GOAT of RU, Ryu, for your massive contribution to our team. From providing teams to Ador to giving him enough practice time, truly I cannot thank you enough. It always felt like you were just a part of the family. I really request you consider playing the next season of BDPL, as I think you will be bought at a very high price. You are such a nice guy, and I honestly wish nothing but the best in life for you.

Link : I'm so sorry, dude, I could not give you enough time, but it's also because your only way of contact is WhatsApp, and I myself am not active there that much. I hope the future of BDPL holds something better for you.

A small note on my own performance: I apologize to all my teammates for going negative this tournament; all my losses mattered. This is just not my season, and only I'm to be blamed. Still, it was really comforting how each one of you said, "Captain, don't worry, we got your back." I hope to pick up my form soon, and one day we can all team up again and play and have the best three months again.

A special shout-out to SKC44 for helping my teams in the finals by providing teams and giving valuable suggestions.

Thanks for reading. Brelooms forever.
