Bellibolt shocks the competition in 1v1 with its impressive bulk, Electromorphosis-powered STAB moves, and respectable Special Attack stat. Soak is surprisingly a great option on Bellibolt, as it gets the jump on foes such as Iron Hands and Arcanine by removing their STAB and hitting them super effectively with its Electric-type moves. It also has Slack Off, which allows it to stall out its foes; this is made more effective after they have become hit by Soak. Sitrus Berry lets Bellibolt survive an extra hit so that it can attack again. This gives it enough recovery to beat Greninja with the addition of the EV investment as well as Meowscarada.
