[OVERVIEW]

Normal
========

Bewear performs the role of a physical wallbreaker for offensive Normal teams with its high base 125 Attack stat and access to Swords Dance, allowing it to dismantle defensive cores such as those of Water, Steel, and Poison teams. It has a high HP stat and the ability Fluffy, which allows it to take reduced damage from contact moves and hence handle strong priority users such as Belly Drum Azumarill, Mega Scizor, and Dragonite, all of which are threats to offensive Normal teams. However, its ability in Fluffy also makes Bewear take double damage from Fire-type moves, making it vulnerable against Pokemon like Heatran. Bewear also has low Special Defense and Speed, which makes it vulnerable to faster special attackers such as Tapu Koko, Hydreigon, and Landorus. As a wallbreaker, Bewear faces competition from Diggersby, which not only has the ability Huge Power but also has priority in Quick Attack and an important immunity to Electric-type moves.

Moves
========

Swords Dance allows Bewear to boost its already good Attack stat to even greater levels, letting it break through walls such as Toxapex and Slowbro. Return is Bewear's Normal-type STAB move and has good coverage in tandem with its Fighting-type STAB move, and when used with Normalium Z, it turns into a 160 Base Power Breakneck Blitz that lets it take out walls such as Mega Venusaur, Mandibuzz, Swampert, and Toxapex after a Swords Dance boost. Superpower takes care of Steel- and Rock-types such as Ferrothorn and Mega Tyranitar. It also hits Pokemon such as Mega Scizor and Celesteela for more damage than any other move on the set. Ice Punch allows Bewear to deal with Ground- and Flying-type Pokemon such as Gliscor, Landorus-T, and Dragonite.

Set Details
========

Maximum Attack investment with an Adamant nature optimizes Bewear's overall damage output. Maximum Speed investment is used to make Bewear outspeed Pokemon such as Belly Drum Azumarill and Alolan Golem. Fluffy lets Bewear take contact moves better and check Pokemon like Mega Scizor more effectively. Normalium Z turns Return into Breakneck Blitz, letting Bewear wallbreak effectively.

Usage Tips
========

Against a bulky team like Poison or Water, Bewear should focus on setting up Swords Dance in order to wallbreak; it can do so against Pokemon that do not threaten it like Alolan Muk. Against offensive types such as Dragon and Electric that lack a strong defensive backbone, it is best to focus on directly attacking more with Bewear, as it will hardly get a safe chance to set up Swords Dance against fast-paced teams. As Z-Moves are one-time use only, be sure not to waste Bewear's Z-Move on any target, as without it, Bewear will find it hard to wallbreak threats like Toxpaex, Mega Venusaur, and Slowbro. Bewear is vulnerable to status such as burns and Toxic poison, so it should not be used to recklessly take Scald and should be kept away from Toxic Spikes. To take full advantage of Bewear as a wallbreaker, it needs opportunities to set up and attack and thus should be brought in the battle via aggressive double switches, through U-turn support or after a Pokemon has fainted. Even though Bewear has decent physical bulk thanks to its ability in Fluffy, it should not be directly switched into contact attacks too often and should be kept healthy to prevent threats such as Belly Drum Azumarill and Choice Band Extreme Speed Dragonite from cleaning late-game.

Team Options
========

Smeargle is a good partner for Bewear, as it can set up Stealth Rock to score easier KOs, cripple a Pokemon with Spore to provide chances for Bewear to set up Swords Dance, and provide Sticky Web support so Bewear can bypass its low Speed against grounded Pokemon. It can also utilize Nuzzle to slow down faster threats like Mega Diancie and Mega Gallade for Bewear. Diggersby can run a Choice Band set to overwhelm opposing teams with Bewear, as they form a very strong wallbreaking core, weakening down shared checks. Mega Pidgeot takes care of Fighting- and Grass-type Pokemon such as Mega Gallade and Tapu Bulu for Bewear. It also provides U-turn support, letting it come in safely against a predicted switch. If Bewear is not utilizing a Z-Move, then Porygon-Z is a fantastic teammate and an amazing sweeper late-game with its Z-Conversion set. It can take advantage of weakened walls by Bewear and clean late-game effectively, and it also does a good job threatening Psychic teams for Bewear. Ditto is a decent teammate, as it can take care of faster threats for Bewear such as Mega Pinsir, Mega Gallade, and Mega Altaria. Mega Lopunny and Bewear form a Steel-breaking core with Mega Lopunny providing the additional benefit of dealing with Ghost-type Pokemon like Mega Sableye, which Bewear fails to do. It can also act as a revenge killer or cleaner, taking advantage of its high Speed and the wallbreaking potential of Bewear. Staraptor can run a Choice Scarf set to take care of Fighting-type Pokemon such as Kommo-o and Keldeo that are troublesome for Bewear. Defensive Staraptor can use Defog to keep Bewear away from entry hazards like Spikes and Toxic Spikes and act as a sponge for physical attacks for it. Meloetta can run a Choice Specs set to aid Bewear in wallbreaking by taking care of Pokemon such as Hippowdon, Mega Slowbro, and Toxapex. In return, Bewear acts as a Knock Off switch-in to Pokemon like Bisharp and Alolan Muk that threaten Meloetta out.

A Jolly nature can be used to outspeed neutral-natured base 70 Speed Pokemon like Breloom, Bisharp, and Metagross; however, the damage drop is noticeable, as Bewear fails to achieve a KO on Pokemon like Toxapex and Slowbro with Breakneck Blitz after a Swords Dance boost. A Choice Band set can be used to take advantage of the immediate power; however, it is heavily prediction-reliant and drains momentum if locked into a wrong move. Fightinium Z can be used to have better matchup against bulky Steel-type Pokemon such as Celesteela, Mega Scizor, and Skarmory.

Checks and Counters
===================

Normal
--------
**Ghost-types**: Ghost-types such as Mega Sableye and Cofagrigus easily wall Bewear due to their good bulk. They can cripple it with Will-O-Wisp, while Bewear hardly does any damage to them with its coverage moves. Cofagrigus can also use Bewear as fodder to set up Toxic Spikes or Trick Room against it.

**Fighting-types**: Fighting-types such as Kommo-o and Keldeo are threats to Bewear, as they can score OHKOs on it with their high Special Attack.

**Fire-types**: Due to Bewear's ability in Fluffy, it takes double damage from Fire-type attacks, so Pokemon such as Heatran, Blacephalon, and Victini can heavily damage or even OHKO it.

**Special Attackers**: Hard-hitting special attackers such as Tapu Koko, Choice Specs Pelipper, and Latios can easily OHKO Bewear with their STAB attacks, as it has a low Special Defense stat.

**Residual Damage and Status-Inducing Moves** As a wallbreaker, Bewear does not appreciate getting worn down by residual damage, as that limits its wallbreaking potential and makes it easier to check. Bewear is also vulnerable to status-inducing moves such as Will-O-Wisp and Toxic, so common status inducers such as Toxapex, Rotom-W, and defensive Celesteela can cripple it and put it on a timer.

* Bewear performs the role of a physical wallbreaker for offensive Normal-type teams.
* Its high Attack stat at base 125 which combined with its access to Swords Dance makes it a potent wallbreaker to dismantle defensive cores such as that of Water-, Steel-, and Poison-type teams.
* It has high HP stat and the ability Fluffy which allows it to take reduced damage from contact moves and hence Bewear is able to handle strong priority users such as Belly Drum Azumarill, Mega Scizor and Dragonite, all of which are threats to offensive Normal-type teams.
* However its ability Fluffy also makes Bewear take double damage from Fire-type moves and hence making it vulnerable against Pokemon like Heatran and Victini.
- victini is not a great example cause its like neutral vs bewear bz its a contact move but fire, just leave heatran as the example imo

* Bewear also has a low Special defense and low Speed which makes it prone to faster special attackers such as Tapu Koko, Hydreigon and Landorus.
* As a wallbreaker, Bewear is outclassed by Diggersby who not only has the ability Huge Power but also has priority in Quick Attack and an important immunity to Electric-type moves.

Moves
========

* Swords Dance allows Bewear to boost its already good attack stat to even greater levels, letting it break through walls such as Toxapex and Slowbro.
* Frustration is the STAB move and has good coverage in tandem with its Fighting STAB move, Frustration when used with Normalium Z, turns into a 160 base power Breakneck Blitz that lets it take out walls such as Mega Venusaur, Mandibuzz, Swampert, and Toxapex after a Swords Dance boost.
- added mandibuzz because i thought it was a good example of what +2 breakneck is capable of

* Superpower takes care of Steel- and Rock-types such as Ferrothorn and Mega Tyranitar. It also hits Pokemon such as Mega Scizor, Celesteela and Skarmory for more damage than any other move on the set.
* Ice Punch allows Bewear to deal with Ground- and Flying-type Pokemon such as Gliscor, Landorus-T, and Dragonite.

Set Details
========

* Maximum Attack investment optimizes Bewear's overall damage output.
* Maximum Speed investment along with Adamant nature is used to make Bewear outspeed Pokemon such as Belly Drum Azumarill, Rotom-W, and Mega Venusaur and to hit as hard as possible.
* A Jolly nature can be used to outspeed even faster foes however the damage drop is noticeable as it fails to achieve KO on Pokemon like Swampert and Slowbro with Z-move after a Swords Dance.
- moving this to oo

* Fluffy is used as an ability, letting Bewear take contact moves better and check Pokemon like Mega Scizor and Extreme Speed Dragonite.
* Normalium Z is used as an item to turn Frustration into Breakneck Blitz letting Bewear wallbreak effectively.
* If the team has other Z-move user then a Silk Scarf can be used as an item to power up its Normal-type attack however it does not have the same wallbreaking potential as a Z-move set.
- tbh silk scarf isnt really worth it, if you use bewear its either band or z-move

Usage Tips
========

* Against a bulky team like Poison- and Water-type teams, Bewear should focus on setting up Swords Dance in order to wallbreak and it can do so against Pokemon that do not threaten it like Alolan Muk and by forcing Mantine out.
- mantine can still scald burn it so this example is not great, though it can work in a battle not great for a general tip

* Against Offensive teams such as Dragon- and Electric-type teams, Bewear should focus on direct attack more as Bewear will hardly find the chance to setup Swords Dance safely as Bewear is slow and is prone to revenge killing by offensive teams. It is better to utilize Bewear's attacking potential directly as offensive teams lack a strong defensive backbone.
- rephrase this, can be a bit hard to follow but is a good tip

* As Z-move is one-time only it should not be wasted unnecessarily on any target as without it Bewear will find it hard to wallbreak threats like Toxpaex, Mega Venusaur, and Slowbro.
* Bewear is vulnerable to status such as burns and toxic damage so it should be kept away from moves such as Scalds and Toxic Spikes as such status inflections severely hamper Bewear's ability to break opposing team.
* To take full advantage of Bewear as a wallbreaker, it should be brought in the battle via aggressive double switches and through U-turn or Volt Switch support to find opportunities to set up or attack.
- normal doesnt have good volt switch mons and yes ik heliolisk is a thing but its bad in usm

* Even though Bewear has decent physical bulk thanks to its ability Fluffy, it should not be directly switched-in into contact attacks too often and it should be kept healthy to check threats such as Belly Drum Azumarill and Choice Band Extreme Speed Dragonite from cleaning late-game.

Team Options
========

* Smeargle is a good partner for Bewear as it can set up Stealth Rock to score easier KOs, cripple a Pokemon with Spore to provide chances for Bewear to set up Swords Dance and Sticky Web support so Bewear can bypass its low speed against Grounded Pokemon.
- smeargle can slow down faster threats such as mega diancie with nuzzle for bewear

* Diggersby can run a Choice Band or a Swords Dance set to overwhelm opposing teams with Bewear, both form a very strong wallbreaking core, weakening down shared checks.
- lets stick w/ cb diggers since sd diggers uses z and thats what is on bewears main set

* Mega Pidgeot takes care of Fighting- and Grass-type Pokemon such as Mega Gallade and Tapu Bulu for Bewear. It also provides U-turn support to it, letting it come in safely against a predicted switch.
* If Bewear is not utilizing a Z-move then Porygon-Z is a fantastic teammate and an amazing sweeper late-game with its omni-boost set. It can take advantage of weakened walls by Bewear and clean late-game effectively.

* Mega Lopunny and Bewear form a Steel-breaking core with Mega Lopunny providing the additional benefit of dealing with Ghost-type Pokemon like Mega Sableye which Bewear fails to do. It can also act as a revenge killer or cleaner, taking advantage of its high speed and wallbreaking potential of Bewear.
* Staraptor can run a defensive set to provide Bewear a defensive pivot against Pokemon such as Excadrill and Bewear. It also provides with U-turn and essential Defog support so that Bewear is not plagued by hazards such as Toxic Spikes and Spikes.
- staraptor would only be running a scarf or band set on webs ho, make sure thats clear here, it wont run a defensive set on ho

* Meloetta can run a Choice Specs set to aid Bewear in wallbreaking by taking care of Pokemon such as Hippowdon, Mega Slowbro and Toxapex. Meloetta can also utilize a Choice Scarf set to revenge kill faster threats for Bewear such as Keldeo and Kommo-o and provide U-turn support. In return, Bewear acts as a Knock Off switch-in into Pokemon like Bisharp and Alolan Muk that threaten out Meloetta.
* Heliolisk provides Bewear with a switch-in into Water-type attacks and is able to threaten Water-type Pokemon such as Suicune and Mega Slowbro with STAB Thunderbolt. It can also beat bulky Ground-types like Hippowdon and Mega Swampert with Grass Knot and provide Bewear with Volt Switch support.
- heliolisk might have been a decent option for being a water killer in oras, but it sucks in usm

- moved this from the set details to here

* A Choice Band set can be used to take advantage of the immediate power however it is heavily prediction-reliant and puts Bewear at risk due to its low Speed stat.
- choice band does not lower its speed, focus on it making bewear prediction reliant is fine.

* fightinium z busts up celesteela way easier

* A Substitute and Bulk Up set can be used to make Bewear safeguarded from status moves and hard to check for Physical attacker like Mega Scizor However such a set lacks coverage moves to hit various threats and relies on multiple setups to pose a threat.
- bad set imo

I would say it faces competition with Diggersby, outclassed implies its not really worth using over Diggersby.

Talk about Return > Frustration, there's no difference but we always use Return as the default on Analyses.

* Superpower takes care of Steel- and Rock-types such as Ferrothorn and Mega Tyranitar. It also hits Pokemon such as Mega Scizor, Celesteela and Skarmory for more damage than any other move on the set.
You can merge Mega Scizor and Celesteela with the Steel types and drop Skarmory, Skarmory is pretty bad nowadays.

Set Details
========

Run another example over Rotom-W, a lot of them run enough speed to creep Jolly Azumarill nowadays so you only speed tie with 44 speed Rotom-W and get outsped by faster spreads. Also I would talk about maximum Attack investments, Adamant, and hitting as hard as possible in the same area, however you decide to do it.

* Fluffy is used as an ability, letting Bewear take contact moves better and check Pokemon like Mega Scizor and Extreme Speed Dragonite.
Up to you but I would include different examples too since you repeat the priority users quite a bit throughout the analyses.

* Normalium Z is used as an item to turn Frustration into Breakneck Blitz letting Bewear wallbreak effectively.
Again, Return > Frustration.

Usage Tips
========

* Bewear is vulnerable to status such as burns and toxic damage so it should be kept away from moves such as Scalds and Toxic Spikes as such status inflections severely hamper Bewear's ability to break opposing team.
I wouldn't talk about keeping it away from Scald because sometimes you have to set up in front of a Scald user like Toxapex to try and risk the burn to break things down. I would just talk about avoiding status users such as x, x, and x as well as not recklessly letting it take Scalds or something.

* To take full advantage of Bewear as a wallbreaker, it should be brought in the battle via aggressive double switches and through U-turn support to find opportunities to set up or attack.
Talk about sending it in after another Pokemon has fainted too.

Team Options
========

* If Bewear is not utilizing a Z-move then Porygon-Z is a fantastic teammate and an amazing sweeper late-game with its omniboost set. It can take advantage of weakened walls by Bewear and clean late-game effectively.
I would talk about Porygon-Z being great against Psychic teams if anything.

* Staraptor can run a Choice Scarf set to take care of Fighting-type Pokemon such as Kommo-o and Keldeo that are troublesome for Bewear.
Maybe talk about Defog Staraptor to clear hazards for Bewear?

* Meloetta can run a Choice Specs set to aid Bewear in wallbreaking by taking care of Pokemon such as Hippowdon, Mega Slowbro and Toxapex. Meloetta can also utilize a Choice Scarf set to revenge kill faster threats for Bewear such as Keldeo and Kommo-o and provide U-turn support. In return, Bewear acts as a Knock Off switch-in into Pokemon like Bisharp and Alolan Muk that threaten out Meloetta.
Scarf Meloetta is not good so I wouldn't mention it.

You should mention what Pokemon Bewear can outspeed with a Jolly nature. Z-Return also beats Swampert fine at +2 with Jolly so I'd use another example.
+2 252 Atk Bewear Breakneck Blitz (160 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Swampert: 391-462 (96.7 - 114.3%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO after Leftovers recovery

**Residual Damage and Status Moves** As a wallbreaker, (AC) Bewear does not appreciate getting worn out by residual damage, (AC) as it limits its wallbreaking potential and makes it easier to check due to the chip damage. Bewear is also prone to status moves such as burn Will-O-Wisp and Toxic so common status users such as Toxapex, Rotom-W, (AC) and defensive Celesteela can cripple it and put it on a timer.

[OVERVIEW]

Normal
========

Bewear performs the role of a physical wallbreaker for offensive Normal-type teams with its high base 125 Attack stat and access to Swords Dance, allowing it to dismantle defensive cores such as that those of Water-(RH), Steel-(RH), and Poison-type teams. It has a high HP stat and the ability Fluffy, which allows it to take reduced damage from contact moves and hence Bewear is able to handle strong priority users such as Belly Drum Azumarill, Mega Scizor, and Dragonite, all of which are threats to offensive Normal-type teams. However, its ability in Fluffy also makes Bewear take double damage from Fire-type moves, hence (repetition) making it vulnerable against Pokemon like Heatran. Bewear also has a low Special Defense and Speed, which makes it prone vulnerable to faster special attackers such as Tapu Koko, Hydreigon, and Landorus. As a wallbreaker, Bewear faces competition from Diggersby, which not only has the ability Huge Power but also has priority in Quick Attack and an important immunity to Electric-type moves.

Moves
========

It also hits Pokemon such as Mega Scizor, (RC) and Celesteela for more damage than any other move on the set. Ice Punch allows Bewear to deal with Ground- and Flying-type Pokemon such as Gliscor, Landorus-T, and Dragonite.

Set Details
========

Maximum Attack investment with an Adamant nature optimizes Bewear's overall damage output. Maximum Speed investment is used to make Bewear outspeed Pokemon such as Belly Drum Azumarill and Alolan Golem. Fluffy is used as an ability, letting lets Bewear take contact moves better and check Pokemon like Mega Scizor better more effectively (repetition). Normalium Z is used as an item to turn turns (cut out some wordiness here) Return into Breakneck Blitz, letting Bewear wallbreak effectively.

Usage Tips
========

Against a bulky team like Poison-(RH) and or Water-type teams, Bewear should focus on setting up Swords Dance in order to wallbreak; it can do so against Pokemon that do not threaten it like Alolan Muk. Against offensive types such as Dragon and Electric that lack a strong defensive backbone, it is best to focus on directly attacking more with Bewear, as it will hardly get a safe chance to set up Swords Dance against fast-paced teams. As Z-Moves are one-time use only, be sure not to unnecessarily (department of redundancy department) waste Bewear's Z-Move on any target, as without it, (AC) Bewear will find it hard to wallbreak threats like Toxpaex, Mega Venusaur, and Slowbro. Bewear is vulnerable to status such as burns and toxic damage Toxic poison, so it should not be used to recklessly take Scald and should be kept away from Toxic Spikes, as such status inflictions severely hamper Bewear's ability to break the opposing team. (You said this already) To take full advantage of Bewear as a wallbreaker, it needs opportunities to set up and attack and thus should be brought in the battle via aggressive double switches, through U-turn support to find opportunities to set up or attack, (Moving this part earlier in the sentence makes it a parallelism) or after a Pokemon has fainted. Even though Bewear has decent physical bulk thanks to its ability in Fluffy, it should not be directly switched into contact attacks too often and should be kept healthy to check prevent threats such as Belly Drum Azumarill and Choice Band Extreme Speed Dragonite from cleaning late-game.

Team Options
========

Diggersby can run a Choice Band set to overwhelm opposing teams with Bewear, as both they form a very strong wallbreaking core, weakening down shared checks. Mega Pidgeot takes care of Fighting- and Grass-type Pokemon such as Mega Gallade and Tapu Bulu for Bewear. It also provides U-turn support, letting it come in safely against a predicted switch. If Bewear is not utilizing a Z-Move, (AC) then Porygon-Z is a fantastic teammate and an amazing sweeper late-game with its omniboost Z-Conversion set. It can take advantage of weakened walls by Bewear and clean late-game effectively. It effectively, and it also (subjective change; not sure if this needed its own sentence) does a good job threatening Psychic teams for Bewear. Ditto is a decent teammate, as it can take care of faster threats for Bewear such as Mega Pinsir, Mega Gallade, and Mega Altaria, all of which are a threat to Bewear. In return, Bewear acts as a Knock Off switch-in to Pokemon like Bisharp and Alolan Muk that threaten out Meloetta out. (subjective change)

Other Options
=============

Normal
--------
A Jolly nature can be used to outspeed neutral-(AH)natured base 70 Speed Pokemon like Breloom, Bisharp, and Metagross; however, the damage drop is noticeable, as it Bewear fails to achieve a KO on Pokemon like Toxapex and Slowbro with Breakneck Blitz after a Swords Dance boost. A Choice Band set can be used to take advantage of the immediate power; however, it is heavily prediction-reliant and drains momentum draining if locked into a wrong move. Fightinium Z can be used to have better matchup against bulky Steel-type Pokemon such as Celesteela, Mega Scizor, and Skarmory.

Checks and Counters
===================

Normal
--------
**Ghost-types**: Ghost-types such as Mega Sableye and Cofagrigus easily wall Bewear due to their good bulk. They can cripple it with Will-O-Wisp, while Bewear hardly does any damage to them with its coverage moves. Cofagrigus can also use Bewear as a fodder to set up Toxic Spikes or set up Trick Room against it.

**Fighting-types**: Fighting-types such as Kommo-o and Keldeo are threats to Bewear, as they can score OHKOs on it with their high Special Attack.

**Fire-types**: Due to Bewear's ability in Fluffy, it takes double damage from Fire-type attacks, so Pokemon such as Heatran, Blacephalon, and Victini can heavily damage it and or even OHKO it.

**Special Attackers**: Hard-hitting special attackers such as Tapu Koko, Choice Specs Pelipper, and Latios can easily OHKO Bewear with their STAB attacks, as it has a low Special Defense stat.

**Residual Damage and Status-Inducing Moves** As a wallbreaker, Bewear does not appreciate getting worn out down by residual damage, as it that limits its wallbreaking potential and makes it easier to check due to the chip damage. (You don't really need this part; you mentioned that it's taking damage already) Bewear is also prone vulnerable to status-inducing (If it dislikes other non-damaging moves, such as Encore, then you don't need to add this) moves such as Will-O-Wisp and Toxic, (AC) so common status users inducers (subjective change) such as Toxapex, Rotom-W, and defensive Celesteela can cripple it and put it on a timer.
