[OVERVIEW]

Bibarel stands out among the plethora of Normal-types in ZU thanks to its unique combination of Simple and Swords Dance raising its Attack by 4 stages in one turn. After such a boost, Bibarel's defensive checks are very limited, and it is able to break through common physical walls such as Torterra and Mareanie. Thanks to its Water typing, Bibarel can break through common Normal-type checks such as Golem and Bronzor. Furthermore, due to the infrequence of faster, Normal-resistant Pokemon, a boosted Bibarel is able to clean late-game with a strong priority move in Quick Attack. However, Bibarel's stats are average at best. Its low initial power means it requires a boost from Swords Dance before becoming threatening. Additionally, Bibarel struggles to find setup opportunities when screens are not on the field due to its mediocre bulk and lack of useful resistances. Most offensive Pokemon such as Komala and Floatzel can OHKO it with their STAB moves and super effective coverage moves. Additionally, its Speed is not high enough to outspeed some very common Pokemon such as Silvally and its different formes and Rotom-S, which also avoid the OHKO from a boosted Quick Attack. Because of these flaws, Bibarel is mostly seen on Sticky Web and dual screens offense with the support of Shuckle and Electrode.

Moves
========

Return is Bibarel's strongest STAB move, with its strong Normal-type coverage allowing it to OHKO physical walls such as Poliwrath and Shiinotic after a boost. Quick Attack is preferred over Aqua Jet as a priority move because there are only a few Normal-resistant Pokemon faster than Bibarel, while faster, Water-resistant Pokemon such as Simisage, Swanna, and Silvally-Dragon are far more common. Liquidation is Bibarel's strongest Water-type move, allowing it to tear apart slower Normal-resistant or -immune Pokemon such as Mawile, Dusclops, and Bronzor. Aqua Jet is a viable option over Liquidation, since it also targets common Rock-type Pokemon such as Golem and Probopass while allowing unboosted Bibarel to revenge kill Pokemon weak to Water, such as Combusken and Shell Smash Crustle. However, the lower power hinders Bibarel's ability to break through common Normal-resistant Pokemon such as Metang, Corsola, and Dusclops.

Set Details
========

An Adamant nature is preferred over a Jolly one, as it provides guaranteed OHKOs on the likes of Bronzor, Metang, and Swanna when combined with Life Orb. Since Life Orb Bibarel often faints from the recoil before cleaning the opposing team, Silk Scarf is an alternative that avoids Life Orb's recoil and still boosts Bibarel's hits enough in order to break through several walls such as Mareanie and Poliwrath.

Usage Tips
========

Due to its poor bulk and status vulnerability, it can very hard for Bibarel to set up. Therefore, it is important to decide which Pokemon Bibarel could set up on as early as possible. This includes defensive Pokemon that lacks status moves and super effective moves, such as Mawile and Sandslash lacking Toxic, and offensive Pokemon locked into a weak move Bibarel resists or is immune to, such as Choice Specs Glaceon locked into Shadow Ball and Choice Scarf Electivire locked into Ice Punch. Due to the aforementioned issues, Bibarel should avoid taking hard hits, even if it resists them, such as Rapidash's Flare Blitz. Therefore, it should only enter the field through a slow Volt Switch or U-turn, after a teammate faints, or through a double switch. This also means that Bibarel should stay as healthy as possible to find setup opportunities. Therefore, its entrance on the field should be limited to setting up and potentially revenge killing a weakened foe with Quick Attack or Aqua Jet. Bibarel should avoid coming on the field and setting up if it can't sweep the opposing team or weaken it enough in order for another teammate to sweep.

Team Options
========

Bibarel benefits a lot from dual screens, so a Pokemon like Electrode makes for a great partner. Furthermore, Sticky Web eases a lot Bibarel's matchups against faster threats such as Furfrou and Silvally-Dark, since it allows Bibarel to outspeed and OHKO them with a boosted Return. Therefore, Shuckle or Smeargle fits well with Bibarel. Bibarel appreciates sweepers like Rock Polish Torterra and Swords Dance Combusken that can create setup opportunities by getting revenge killed by Choice item users like Electivire and Floatzel. A Memento user, such as Dugtrio or Jumpluff, benefits Bibarel's team by its ability to give it a setup opportunity. Dugtrio, as well as other entry hazard setters such as Sandslash and Golem, are extremely crucial for Bibarel, as it needs significant chip damage in order to remove faster threats with Quick Attack such as Silvally-Water and defensive Rotom-S. VoltTurn users like Electivire and Silvally-Fighting are also great partners, since they can bring Bibarel in without it taking damage on the field, and they can inflict chip damage to opposing Pokemon such as Leafeon and Rotom-S, putting them in range of a boosted Quick Attack. Since Bibarel struggles against Ghost-types such as Gourgeist-XL and Dusclops, Pokemon that beat them, such as Cacturne, Exeggutor, and Komala, are great partners. In addition, other physical Pokemon such as Swords Dance Torterra and stallbreaker Bouffalant can weaken Bibarel's checks in Pyukumuku, Cradily, and Gourgeist-XL in order for it to sweep.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Bibarel can give up Liquidation for Crunch to beat two of its biggest counters in Gourgeist-XL and Dusclops. However, Bibarel still loses to Gourgeist-XL holding a Colbur Berry. This also slightly increases Bibarel's damage output against Cradily, even if it needs a substantial amount of chip damage for Crunch to take it out, even after Swords Dance. A Jolly nature can be run over Adamant in order to outspeed several Pokemon like Glaceon and Komala. However, Bibarel already beats them with a boosted Quick Attack. Running Taunt on Bibarel allows it to find more setup opportunities on defensive Pokemon that rely on status moves to hinder is, such as Altaria and Avalugg, as well as defeat Pyukumuku. However, just like for Crunch, Bibarel usually can't find the room for this move. With Lum Berry, Bibarel can find setup opportunities more easily on defensive Pokemon such as Mareanie and Altaria that rely on Scald burns and Toxic to deal with it. However, Bibarel misses out on the boost from Life Orb or Silk Scarf, which is needed to OHKO Bronzor or weaken faster Pokemon such as Leafeon and Furfrou.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Ghost-types**: Ghost-types are immune to Bibarel's priority and strongest move. Thus, defensive ones such as Gourgeist-XL, Dusclops, and Shedinja as well as faster ones such as Misdreavus and Gourgeist-S can check it even when boosted. However, all of them have to be careful of being put in range of Crunch.

**Pyukumuku**: Thanks to Unaware, Pyukumuku ignores Bibarel's Attack boosts. Therefore, due to Bibarel's low initial power, it can easily wall Bibarel throughout the game and cripple it with Toxic or PP stall it with the combination of Block and Spite.

**Faster Bulky Pokemon**: Since Bibarel isn't fast, several Pokemon such as defensive Silvally formes, Leafeon, and Choice Band Furfrou outspeed it and are bulky enough to take a boosted priority move before KOing it.

**Offensive Pressure**: Since Bibarel's initial power is very limited, the best way to deal with it is to prevent it from setting up. Its mediocre bulk paired with its mediocre Speed lets it easily getting pressured by common attackers such as Servine, Raichu, and Silvally-Dragon, which can OHKO it before it sets up.

Moves
========

-Swords Dance skyrockets Bibarel's Attack to crazy level and is necessary in order Bibarel to wallbreak. (Fluff, SD is inherent to the set and needs no further explanation)
-Return is Bibarel's strongest STAB move, with its strong Normal coverage allowing a boosted Bibarel to OHKO physical walls such as Poliwrath and Shiinotic. (emphasizing here why Return is the main STAB and not Liq, which is why Liq is slashed over Jet and not Quick Attack or so on)
-Quick Attack is preferred to Aqua Jet as a priority move, because there are only few Normal resistant Pokemon faster than Bibarel, while faster Water resistant Pokemon such as Simisage, Swanna, and Silvally-Dragon are far more common.
-Liquidation is Bibarel's strongest Water-type move enforcing Bibarel to tear apart slower Normal resistant or immune Pokemon such as Mawile, Dusclops Relicanth, and Bronzor. (Dusclops is more relevant than the C+ reli, also shows that it can beat some Ghosts)
-In addition, Aqua Jet is a viable option over Liquidation, since it also targets common Rock-type Pokemon such as Golem and Probopass, while allowing unboosted Bibarel to revenge kill Water-type weak Pokemon such as Combusken and Shell Smash Crusle. However, Aqua Jet misses Liquidation's power, hindering Bibarel's ability to break through common Normal resistant Pokemon such as Metang, Corsola, and weakened Dusclops.

Set Details
========

-Simple matches perfectly with Swords Dance, increasing Bibarel's Attack stats by 4 stage after one use. (Fluff, integral to the set as is, no need to justify its use here)
-An Adamant Nature is prefered over a Jolly one, as it provides guaranteed1HKOs on the likes of Bronzor, Metang, and Swanna when combined with Life Orb. since it minimizes the amount of chip damages Bibarel needs on faster Pokemon such as the different Silvally forms and Leafeon in order to break through them with Quick Attack. The only benefit of Jolly is to outspeed Adamant Monferno that can revenge kill Bibarel with its priority Mach Punch, since the other Pokemon, that Bibarel outspeeds with a Jolly nature, such as Glaceon and Komala fall to a boosted Quick Attack
-Life Orb further boosts Bibarel's damage and allows it to pick crucial OHKO on Bronzor and Metang.
(The set details should be short, and some of this justification is unneeded. By simply declaring that Ada + LO guarantees 1HKOs, the point is made clear. Then you can mention the opportunity cost of Silk Scarf vs LO. The Jolly nature comparison is better as an OO or left unsaid.)
-However, due to its mediocre bulk, Bibarel often takes heavy damage during its setup. Therefore, if running a Life Orb, Bibarel often faints from recoil before having sweep the whole opposing team.; Silk Scarf is an option over Life Orb, which doesn't have recoil and still boosts enough Bibarel's hit in order to need through several walls such as Mareanie and Poliwrath.(Shortened to one sentence with a semicolon and removed fluff, gets the point across of LO's shortcomings.)

Usage Tips
========

-Bibarel is extremely susceptible to status, especially burn and paralysis. Therefore, Bibarel should absolutely avoid to take status inducing moves such as Mareanie's Scald or Granbull's Thunder Wave. While getting toxiced puts Bibarel on a timer and can prevents it from sweeping through a whole team, it doesn't hinder Bibarel as much as other status. Therefore, if the opposing team is weakened, Bibarel can sweep it before fainting from the Poison. So, in this specific case, it can afford to get hit by Toxic from Altaria or Mawile. (I don't think a whole point about status is worthwhile for bib; as you mentioned, toxic can still be too slow if it 1HKOs everything in time, and para is not so bad thanks to priority. Unfortunately, I think this point should be removed and only referenced briefly if at all later)
-Due to its several flaws like its poor bulk and status vulnerability, it can very hard for Bibarel to find setup opportunity. So, it is important to notice, as early as possible, on which Pokemon Bibarel could set up. This includes defensive Pokemon that lacks status move or super effective moves such as Silvally-Ground Mawile or Sandslash lacking Toxic, but also offensive Pokemon locked into a move resisted by Bibarel such as Choice Specs Glaceon or Choice Scarf Electivire respectively locked onto Shadow Ball and Ice Punch. (Silvally-ground just 2hkos with Multi attack. I replaced with Mawile, as both it and sandslash may not carry Toxic on some variants)
-However, Bibarel should only do this with switch into weak moves, because some strong resisted hits can 2HKO Bibarel, like Choice Specs Glaceon's Ice Beam or Choice Specs Camerupt's Fire Blast. (if you sack a mon to these attackers, these two are still prime subjects for Bib to set up on as it outspeeds and 1hkos the turn after. I clarified to switch into)
-Therefore, it is important to create setup opportunity for Bibarel. This can be done by using other sweepers such as Rock Polish Torterra or Swords Dance Combusken that can force respectively Choice Scarf Electivire to lock onto Ice Punch and Silvally-Dragon to drop its Special Attack with Draco Meteor.
-But also thanks to external support from Screens or Memento from Pokemon such as Electrode or Dugtrio. These moves' use drastically improves Bibarel's bulk for the next turns, and therefore create a bunch of setup opportunities for Bibarel. (This is more of a team options tip)
-In addition, most defensive Pokemon such as Altaria, Pyukumuku, and Avalugg, once Taunted, can't hinder much Bibarel, and therefore make for great setup fodder for Bibarel. (Pyuk takes nothing from bib and can outstall the taunt (from the prior teammate ig?) and just recover on it and still counter it)
-Due to the aforementioned issues, Bibarel should avoid taking hits. Therefore, it should only enter the field through slow VoltTurn, after a teammate faints, or through double switch.
-This also means that Bibarel should stay as much healthy as possible to find setup opportunity. Therefore, its entrance on the field should be limited to its setup, and potentially to revenge kill a weakened foe with Quick Attack or Aqua Jet. So Bibarel should avoid to come on the field and setup a Swords Dance, if it can't sweep the opposing team or weaken it enough in order another teammate to sweep.

Team Options
========

-Hazard setters such as Dugtrio and Sandslash are extremely crucial for Bibarel as it needs the maximum of chip damages significant chip damage in order to remove faster threats with Quick Attack such as Silvally-Fighting Water and defensive Rotom-S. (Neither Silv-Fight nor bulky Rotom-S are in range of a QA after SD. Instead, multiple switch ins from Silv-Water and Rotom-S are more realistic for helping a Bib sweep. The way it was worded earlier implied maybe one turn of SR was enough when in fact it isnt)
-As forementioned, Bibarel benefits a lot from Screens, thus a Screen setter such as Meowstic-M and Electrode makes a great partner.
-Furthermore, Sticky Web eases a lot Bibarel's matchup against faster threats such as Furfrou and Silvally-Dark since it allows Bibarel to outspeed them and OHKO with a boosted Return. Therefore, a Sticky Web setter such as Shuckle and Smeargle fits well with Bibarel.
-Also as forementioned, Bibarel appreciates sweepers like Rock Polish Torterra or Swords Dance Combusken that can create setup opportunity when being revenge killed by choice-locked users like Electivire and Swanna, while enjoying the Screen or Web support. (These two don't need to be on webs so not worth mentioning, and I added the choice users to explain how these other setup sweepers give an option for Bib to sweep)
-Moreover, a Memento user such as Dugtrio and Jumpluff benefits Bibarel team by its ability to create setup opportunity.
-VoltTurn users like Electivire and Silvally-Fighting are also great partners for Bibarel, since they can easily bring it on the field and they can inflict chip damage to the opposing Pokemon such as Leafeon and Rotom-S, which can revenge kill a boosted Bibarel.
-Furthermore, Taunt users such as Monferno and Simipour, as forementioned, can create set up opportunity for Bibarel.
-Since Bibarel struggles against Ghost-types such as Gourgeist-XL and Dusclops, Dark-types that can remove it such as Cacturne and Silvally-Dark are great partners. The former can easily take advantage of Gourgeist, while the latter can Pursuit trap weakened Ghost-types and completely remove them.
-Other physical wallbreakers such as Swords Dance Torterra and Toxic Bouffalant can weaken Bibarel's check in Pyukumuku, Cradily and Gourgeist-XL, in order Bibarel to sweep.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

-Bibarel can give up a move Liquidation for Crunch. With this move, Bibarel can beat two of its biggest counters in Gourgeist-XL and Shedinja. However Bibarel still loses to Gourgeist-XL, if it still holds its Colbur Berry. This also slightly increases Bibarel's damage output against Dusclops and Cradily, but doesn't improve the matchup much. However, running Crunch means that Bibarel has to give up one of its moves. Frustration is necessary to threaten Pokemon such as Poliwrath and Altaria. Moreover, without a Water move, Bibarel loses to Steel- and Rock-types such as Golem and Mawile, and without Quick Attack, Bibarel loses to faster Water resistances such as Leafeon and Silvally-Dragon. Thus, it is hard to justify Crunch on Bibarel. (Fluff, works ending off with the match ups not improving much, no need for more detail. The move it switch out is Liquidation, as it is the most comparable for its role of a strong coverage attack to back up its normal coverage.)
-Bibarel can find setup opportunity on taunted defensive Pokemon as forementioned in Usage Tips, so running Taunt on Bibarel allows it to find more setup opportunity. But just like for Crunch, Bibarel usually can't find the room for this move.
-If holding a Lum Berry, Bibarel can find setup opportunity on defensive Pokemon such as Mareanie and Altaria that relies respectively on Scald burn and Toxic to deal with it. However, Bibarel misses out on the damage boost from Life Orb or Silk Scarf, which it needs to OHKO Bronzor or weakened faster Pokemon such as Leafeon and Furfrou.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Ghost-types**: Ghost-types faster than Bibarel, such as Misdreavus and Gourgeist-S, are immune to Quick Attack. Therefore, they can even check a boosted Bibarel and OHKO it with respectively Foul Play and Seed Bomb. However, once weakened, Misdreavus can be removed by a boosted Aqua Jet. Additionally, slower Ghost-types such as Gourgeist-XL and Dusclops are also immune to Bibarel's strongest STAB move and can avoid the OHKO from a boosted Liquidation and cripple it with a status move or remove a weakened Bibarel with Foul Play or Seismic Toss. Furthermore, Gourgeist-XL resists Liquidation and is extremely physically defensive and can OHKO a boosted Bibarel with Foul Play or burn it with Will-O-Wisp. While being uncommon, Shedinja is immune to both Bibarel's STAB moves, therefore Shedinja can hard wall it as long as hazard are off the field.
(Try rewording this section to 2 sentences. The big points would be that Ghost types are immune to Bibareal's main priority and STAB attack, and either have defensive qualities to check it with gourg-xl, dusc, and shedninja, or can check offensively by being faster and immune to quick attack with Misdreivus and Gourg-S; all have to be careful of being put in range of Crunch.

**Pyukumuku**: Thanks to Unaware, Pyukumuku ignores Bibarel's Attack boost. Therefore, due to Bibarel's low initial power, it can easily wall Bibarel through the game and cripple it with Toxic or PP stall it with the combination of Block and Spite.

**Cradily**: Cradily resists Bibarel's Normal STAB moves and thanks to its ability Storm Drain is immune to Liquidation. With Giga Drain recovery, Cradily avoids the 2HKO from boosted Bibarel's Frustration and can reliably take Bibarel out.
(Crad is currently C+, and isn't the most relevant to be said on its own. Also, check these calcs:
+4 252+ Atk Silk Scarf Bibarel Return vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Cradily: 180-212 (47.8 - 56.3%) -- 30.5% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery ( guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery)
0 SpA Cradily Giga Drain vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Bibarel: 204-242 (68.2 - 80.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

This means if Crad switches in on the SD, it has a big chance to be 2HKO'd from the resulting two Return's, and it can't 1HKO back with Giga Drain. Its a worse counter than something like Silvally-water, which at least can switch in and have a higher chance to 1HKO with tbolt. Its worth, then, to remove this point)

**Faster bulky Pokemon**: Since Bibarel isn't fast, it gets outsped by several Pokemon such as defensive Silvally forms, Leafeon, and Choice Band Furfrou, that are bulky enough to take a boosted priority before knocking out Bibarel.

**Offensive Pressure**: Since Bibarel initial power is very limited, the best way to deal with it is to prevent it from setting up. Indeed, Bibarel's mediocre bulk paired with its medium Speed lets Bibarel easily getting pressured by common attackers such as Leafeon, Raichu, and Silvally-Dragon, that can OHKO Bibarel before it sets up.

========

=============

===================

[OVERVIEW]

-Bibarel stand out the plethora of Normal-types in ZU thanks to its unique combination of Simple and Swords Dance, raising its Attack by 4 stage in one turn. After such a boost, Bibarel's defensive checks are very limited and it is able to break through common physical walls such as Torterra and Mareanie.
-Thanks to its Water-type, Bibarel can break through common Normal checks such as Golem and Bronzor.
-Consequently, Bibarel is mostly seen in Sticky Web and Screen offense with the support of Shuckle and Electrode, respectively. In fact, these archetype make up respectively for Bibarel's slowness and frailty, which also avoid the OHKO from a boosted Quick Attack. What's the reasoning for using the word consequently? I don't see how Bibarel being able to break Golem and Bronzor directly results in fitting on Hyper Offense teams. Also what avoids the OHKO from a boosted Quick Attack? Electrode? Opposing Bibarel?
-Furthermore, once boosted and due to the infrequence of faster Normal resistant Pokemon, Bibarel is able to clean late game with a strong priority move in Quick Attack.
-However Bibarel's stats are average at best. Therefore Bibarel requires to set up a Swords Dance, before becoming threatening.
-Additionally, Bibarel struggles to find setup opportunity, due to its mediocre bulk and lack of useful resistances. Indeed, most offensive Pokemon such as Komala or Floatzel can OHKO it with their STAB moves or with super effective coverage moves. This is where you mention the importance of Screens / Memento support.
-Moreover, Bibarel's middling Speed lets it getting outsped by very common Pokemon such as the different Silvally forms and Rotom-S. You really need to go back and talk about how Bibarel's Speed tier is actually really cool. Adamant Base 71 is enough to outpace Pawniard, Toucannon, Sandslash, Torterra, Crustle, Exeggutor, Modest Poliwrath, etc. I wouldn't call it "middling" by any means; Base 71 is solid for such a strong Pokemon as Bibarel after one Swords Dance.

Moves
========

-Return is Bibarel's strongest STAB move, with its strong Normal coverage allowing a boosted Bibarel to OHKO physical walls such as Poliwrath and Shiinotic.
-Quick Attack is prefered to Aqua Jet as a priority move, because there are only few Normal resistant Pokemon faster than Bibarel, while faster Water resistant Pokemon such as Simisage, Swanna, and Silvally-Dragon are far more common.
-Liquidation is Bibarel's strongest Water-type move enforcing Bibarel to tear apart slower Normal resistant or immune Pokemon such as Mawile, Dusclops, and Bronzor.
Aqua Jet makes Bibarel uncapable of breaking through weakened Dusclops?

Set Details
========

-An Adamant Nature is prefered over a Jolly one, as it provides guaranteed OHKOs on the likes of Bronzor, Metang, and Swanna when combined with Life Orb.
-If running a Life Orb, Bibarel often faints from recoil before having sweep the whole opposing team ; Silk Scarf is an option, which doesn't have recoil and still boosts enough Bibarel's hit in order to need through several walls such as Mareanie and Poliwrath.

Usage Tips
========

-Due to its several flaws like its poor bulk and status vulnerability, it can very hard for Bibarel to find setup opportunity. So, it is important to notice, as early as possible, on which Pokemon Bibarel could set up. This includes defensive Pokemon that lacks status move or super effective moves such as Mawile or Sandslash lacking Toxic, but also offensive Pokemon locked into a move resisted by Bibarel such as Choice Specs Glaceon or Choice Scarf Electivire respectively locked onto Shadow Ball and Ice Punch.
-However, Bibarel should switch into with weak moves, because some strong resisted hits can 2HKO Bibarel, like Choice Specs Glaceon's Ice Beam or Choice Specs Camerupt's Fire Blast. I don't particularly like either of these examples. You used Choice Spec Glaceon in the bullet point prior, and Camerupt is never gonna actually pick up the 2HKO because Bibarel outspeeds it and can just go for Liquidation/Aqua Jet
Seems like a Team Option, not a Usage Tip
-In addition, most defensive Pokemon such as Altaria, and Avalugg, once Taunted, can't hinder much Bibarel, and therefore make for great setup fodder for Bibarel. Who is taunting these foes? Bibarel? It's not a recommended move in the set and would detract from its breaking capabilities. Electrode? Are new readers supposed to just assume that? Also wouldn't that be more of a Team Option at that point? Also Taunt lasts 3 turns. Turn 1 Electrode uses Taunt, Turn 2 Electrode explodes (keep in mind this would mean no screens), Turn 3 Bibarel comes in and SDs and Taunt wears off, Turn 4 Bibarel goes for +4 Return versus Avalugg. +4 252+ Atk Life Orb Bibarel Return vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Avalugg: 246-290 (62.4 - 73.6%) Avalugg Roars. I don't mean to rant, but this bullet point makes literally zero sense. Remove this altogether.

========

-Hazard setters such as Dugtrio and Sandslash are extremely crucial for Bibarel as it needs significant chip damage in order to remove faster threats with Quick Attack such as Silvally-Water and defensive Rotom-S.
-As forementioned, Bibarel benefits a lot from Screens, thus a Screen setter such as Meowstic-M and Electrode makes a great partner. I really don't wanna be recommending Meowstic-M, Electrode is leagues better.
-Also as forementioned, Bibarel appreciates sweepers like Rock Polish Torterra or Swords Dance Combusken that can create setup opportunity, when being revenge killed by Choice item users like Electivire and Swanna.
-Moreover, a Memento user such as Dugtrio and Jumpluff benefits Bibarel team by its ability to create setup opportunity. Do you remember when you mentioned Choice Scarf Electivire's Ice Punch being a great move for Bibarel to set up on? These are great Ice Punch targets for Scarf Evire... :blobuwu:
-VoltTurn users like Electivire and Silvally-Fighting are also great partners for Bibarel, since they can easily bring it on the field and they can inflict chip damage to the opposing Pokemon such as Leafeon and Rotom-S, which can revenge kill a boosted Bibarel.
-Furthermore, Taunt users such as Monferno and Simipour, as forementioned, can create set up opportunity for Bibarel. Monferno in the post Shiftry metagame is bad. Like really really bad.
Change Toxic Bouffalant to Stallbreaker Bouffalant and change wallbreakers to a more generic term like Pokemon.

-Bibarel can give up Liquidation for Crunch. Mention that Shedinja commonly runs Focus Sash and will be able to Will-O-Wisp Bibarel before it is defeated, neutering Bibarel's ability to clean against weakened teams. Shedinja is also hella rare.
-A Jolly Nature can be run over Adamant in order to outspeed several Pokemon like Glaceon and Komala. However, Bibarel already beats these Pokemon outside of Monferno with a boosted Quick Attack. While, with a Jol unfinished sentence????
-Bibarel can find setup opportunity on taunted defensive Pokemon as forementioned in Usage Tips,except we removed that bullet point so running Taunt on Bibarel allows it to find more setup opportunity.

===================

**Ghost-types**: Ghost-types are immune to Bibarel's priority and strongest move. Thus, defensive one such as Gourgeist-XL, Dusclops, and Shedinja as well as the one faster than Bibarel such as Misdreavus and Gourgeist-S can check Bibarel, even boosted. However, all have to be careful of being put in range of Crunch.

Replace Leafeon with something like Servine, you just used Leafeon in the bullet point prior to this one. Try not to repeat examples where it can be avoided.

However, Bibarel should switch into with weak moves, you already say it should switch into passive mons because some strong resisted hits can 2HKO Bibarel, like Choice Specs Floatzel's Hydro Pump or Choice Scarf Rapidash's Flare Blitz after Stealth Rock. Due to the aforementioned issues, Bibarel should avoid taking hits. Therefore, it should only enter the field through slow VoltTurn, after a teammate faints, or through double switch. This also means that Bibarel should stay as much healthy as possible to find setup opportunity. Therefore, its entrance on the field should be limited to its setup, and potentially to revenge kill a weakened foe with Quick Attack or Aqua Jet. Also as forementioned, Bibarel appreciates sweepers like Rock Polish Torterra or Swords Dance Combusken that can create setup opportunity, when being revenge killed by Choice item users like Electivire and Swanna. Other sweepers can create setup opportunity for Bibarel such as Rock Polish Torterra by forcing Choice Scarf Electivire to lock onto Ice Punch, or Combusken by obliging Silvally-Dragon to drop its Special Attack with Draco Meteor. you've basically said the same sentence twice here; torterra and combusken get revenge killed by moves that give bibarel set up, got it. you should ideally also change the swanna example to something that doesn't risk a burn such as floatzel. Moreover, a Memento user such as Dugtrio and Jumpluff benefits Bibarel team by its ability to create setup opportunities. They can also force Electivire to lock onto Ice Punch, a move on which Bibarel can setup. you've already gone over this point (twice). also, you're aiming to use them for memento support so dying to scarf evire doesn't really come into it. i'd also mention that dugtrio can set up rocks, and note that other hazard setters can help bibarel secure kills (give examples). remove the first sentence of this para if you do this. VoltTurn users like Electivire and Silvally-Fighting are also great partners for Bibarel, since they can easily bring it on the field without bibarel taking damage and they can inflict chip damage to the opposing Pokemon such as Leafeon and Rotom-S, putting them in range of a boosted quick attack which can revenge kill a boosted Bibarel. Since Bibarel struggles against Ghost-types such as Gourgeist-XL and Dusclops, Dark-types that can remove it such as Cacturne and Silvally-Dark are great partners. The former can easily take advantage of Gourgeist, while the latter can Pursuit trap weakened Ghost-types and completely remove them. silvally-dark just gets burned by both (although it can kinda pressure some variants of clops on stall ig). i'd prefer this point to be reworked into pokemon that generally break the aforementioned mons like exeggutor and komala. komala also leads onto the next point: Other physical Pokemon such as Swords Dance Torterra and Stallbreaker Bouffalant can weaken Bibarel's check in Pyukumuku, Cradily and Gourgeist-XL, in order Bibarel to sweep.

Bibarel can give up Liquidation for Crunch. However Bibarel still loses to Gourgeist-XL, if it still holds its Colbur Berry. This also slightly increases Bibarel's damage output against Dusclops and Cradily, but doesn't improve the matchup much it definitely helps vs dusclops. if you're adding clops to the first sentence, just say that you need a substantial amount of chip for crunch to take out cradily even after swords dance. Additionally, while extremely rare, Shedinja commonly runs Focus Sash and can harm Bibarel with Will-O-Wisp before it is defeated, neutering Bibarel's ability to clean against weakened teams. as before, shedinja is unviable. A Jolly Nature can be run over Adamant in order to outspeed several Pokemon like Glaceon and Komala. However, Bibarel already beats these Pokemon outside of Monferno Monferno would probably run max/max now that Shiftry is gone with a boosted Quick Attack. Bibarel can find setup opportunity on taunted defensive Pokemon such as Avalugg and Altaria, that relies on status move to hinder Bibarel. Thus running Taunt on Bibarel allows it to find more setup opportunity as well as defeat Pyukumuku. But just like for Crunch, Bibarel usually can't find the room for this move. But, its Speed is not high enough to outsped some very common Pokemon such as the different Silvally forms and Rotom-S, which also avoid the OHKO from a boosted Quick Attack.

Moves
========

Return is Bibarel's strongest STAB move, with its strong Normal coverage allowing a boosted Bibarel to OHKO physical walls such as Poliwrath and Shiinotic. Quick Attack is prefered to Aqua Jet as a priority move, because there are only few Normal resistant Pokemon faster than Bibarel, while faster Water resistant Pokemon such as Simisage, Swanna, and Silvally-Dragon are far more common. Liquidation is Bibarel's strongest Water-type move enforcing Bibarel to tear apart slower Normal resistant or immune Pokemon such as Mawile, Dusclops, and Bronzor. In addition, Aqua Jet is a viable option over Liquidation, since it also targets common Rock-type Pokemon such as Golem and Probopass, while allowing unboosted Bibarel to revenge kill Water-type weak Pokemon such as Combusken and Shell Smash Crusle. However, Aqua Jet misses Liquidation's power, hindering Bibarel's ability to break through common Normal resistant Pokemon such as Metang, Corsola, and Dusclops.

Set Details
========

An Adamant Nature is prefered over a Jolly one, as it provides guaranteed OHKOs on the likes of Bronzor, Metang, and Swanna when combined with Life Orb. If running a Life Orb, Bibarel often faints from recoil before having sweep the whole opposing team ; Silk Scarf is an option, which doesn't have recoil and still boosts enough Bibarel's hit in order to need through several walls such as Mareanie and Poliwrath.

Usage Tips
========

Due to its several flaws like you already specify the flaws: its poor bulk and status vulnerability, it can very hard for Bibarel to find setup opportunity. So Bibarel should avoid to come on the field and setup a Swords Dance, if it can't sweep the opposing team or weaken it enough in order another teammate to sweep.

Team Options
========

Hazard setters such as Dugtrio and Sandslash are extremely crucial for Bibarel as it needs significant chip damage in order to remove faster threats with Quick Attack such as Silvally-Water and defensive Rotom-S. As forementioned, Bibarel benefits a lot from Screens, thus a Screen setter such as Electrode makes a great partner. Furthermore, Sticky Web eases a lot Bibarel's matchup against faster threats such as Furfrou and Silvally-Dark since it allows Bibarel to outspeed them and OHKO with a boosted Return. Therefore, a Sticky Web setter such as Shuckle and Smeargle fits well with Bibarel.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Bibarel can give up Liquidation for Crunch. With this move, Bibarel can beat two of its biggest counters in Gourgeist-XL and Shedinja. you aren't wrong but shedinja isn't actually ranked on the VR. replace with clops. If holding a Lum Berry, Bibarel can find setup opportunity on defensive Pokemon such as Mareanie and Altaria that relies respectively on Scald burn and Toxic to deal with it. However, Bibarel misses out on the damage boost from Life Orb or Silk Scarf, which it needs to OHKO Bronzor or weakened faster Pokemon such as Leafeon and Furfrou.

Checks and Counters
===================

Indeed, Bibarel's mediocre bulk paired with its medium Speed lets Bibarel easily getting pressured by common attackers such as Servine, Raichu, and Silvally-Dragon, that can OHKO Bibarel before it sets up.

3/3 nice stuff, you might want to re-read this and fix up some of the more glaring grammar problems to save the GP guys some work though
Thanks for the check. I'll give a look to grammar later (I suck at english).
I didn't implemented 2 things:
-Shedinja is actually ranked at D in the VR. I replaced it with Dusclops in the first line, but I kept the line about it latter.
-I don't understand your comment on Monferno. I was refering to this:
252+ Atk Life Orb Iron Fist Monferno Mach Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Bibarel: 242-289 (80.9 - 96.6%) -- 56.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

I'm waiting for your opinion on these 2 stuffs before moving to GP.

i can amcheck the grammar, don't stress too hard on it :)
my mistake on the shedinja thing, we typically look to b- on the vr as a baseline unless the mon is especially relevant as an example (e.g. probo beating bronzor). as shedinja is only prevalent on stall (which often has pyuku instead) i wouldn't say this is the case here. remove

re: monferno, the only analysis set at present is utility. sd is viable, but monferno is fairly rare as is, and it feels like you'd need a real long sentence to explain the context of this set. just drop the example imo.

Moves
========

Return is Bibarel's strongest STAB move, with its strong Normal-type coverage allowing a boosted Bibarel it to OHKO physical walls such as Poliwrath and Shiinotic after a boost. Quick Attack is preferred to over Aqua Jet as a priority move, (RC) because there are only a few Normal-resistant Pokemon faster than Bibarel, while faster, Water-resistant Pokemon such as Simisage, Swanna, and Silvally-Dragon are far more common. Liquidation is Bibarel's strongest Water-type move, allowing Bibarel it to tear apart slower Normal-resistant or -immune Pokemon such as Mawile, Dusclops, and Bronzor.

Set Details
========

An Adamant Nature nature is preferred over a Jolly one, as it provides guaranteed OHKOs on the likes of Bronzor, Metang, and Swanna when combined with Life Orb. If running Life Orb, Bibarel often faints from the recoil before cleaning the opposing team; Silk Scarf is an alternative that avoids Life Orb's recoil and still boosts Bibarel's hits enough in order to break through several walls such as Mareanie and Poliwrath.

Usage Tips
========

Due to its poor bulk and status vulnerability, it can very hard for Bibarel to set up. Therefore, it is important to decide, as early as possible, which Pokemon Bibarel could set up on as early as possible. This includes defensive Pokemon that lacks status moves or and super effective moves, such as Mawile or and Sandslash lacking Toxic, and offensive Pokemon locked into a weak move resisted by Bibarel resists or is immune to, such as Choice Specs Glaceon locked into Shadow Ball and or Choice Scarf Electivire locked onto Shadow Ball and into Ice Punch. Due to the aforementioned issues, Bibarel should avoid taking hits (this sentence feels way to broad since you elaborated on how it can switch into some move before, i suggest to add a bit more to it). Therefore, it should only enter the field through a slow VoltTurn, after a teammate faints, or through a double switch. This also means that Bibarel should stay as healthy as possible to find setup opportunities. Therefore, its entrance on the field should be limited to setting up and/or potentially revenge killing a weakened foe with Quick Attack or Aqua Jet. Bibarel should avoid coming on the field and setting up a Swords Dance if it can't sweep the opposing team or weaken it enough in order for another teammate to sweep.

Team Options
========

Bibarel benefits a lot from screens, so a dual screen setter such as Electrode makes for a great partner. Furthermore, Sticky Web eases a lot Bibarel's matchups against faster threats such as Furfrou and Silvally-Dark, (AC) since it allows Bibarel to outspeed and OHKO them with a boosted Return. Therefore, a Sticky Web setter, such as Shuckle or Smeargle, fits well with Bibarel. Bibarel appreciates sweepers like Rock Polish Torterra or and Swords Dance Combusken that can create setup opportunities by getting revenge killed by Choice item users like Electivire and Floatzel. A Memento user, such as Dugtrio or Jumpluff, benefits Bibarel's team by its ability to give it a setup opportunity. Dugtrio, as well as other Entry Hazard entry hazard setters such as Sandslash and Golem, are extremely crucial for Bibarel, as it needs significant chip damage in order to remove faster threats with Quick Attack such as Silvally-Water and defensive Rotom-S. VoltTurn users like Electivire and Silvally-Fighting are also great partners, (AC) since they can bring Bibarel in without it taking damage on the field, and they can inflict chip damage to opposing Pokemon such as Leafeon and Rotom-S, putting them in range of a boosted Quick Attack. Since Bibarel struggles against Ghost-types such as Gourgeist-XL and Dusclops, Pokemon that beat them, such as Cacturne, Exeggutor, and Komala, are great partners. In addition, other physical Pokemon such as Swords Dance Torterra and stallbreaker Bouffalant can weaken Bibarel's checks in Pyukumuku, Cradily, and Gourgeist-XL in order for Bibarel it to sweep.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Bibarel can give up Liquidation for Crunch to beat two of its biggest counters in Gourgeist-XL and Dusclops. However, Bibarel still loses to Gourgeist-XL holding a Colbur Berry. This also slightly increases Bibarel's damage output against Cradily, even if it needs a substantial amount of chip damage for Crunch to take it out, (AC) even after Swords Dance. A Jolly nature can be run over Adamant in order to outspeed several Pokemon like Glaceon and Komala. However, Bibarel already beats them with a boosted Quick Attack. Bibarel can find setup opportunities on taunted Taunted defensive Pokemon that relies rely on status moves to hinder Bibarel it, such as Altaria and Avalugg. Therefore, running Taunt on Bibarel allows it to find more setup opportunities, (AC) as well as defeat Pyukumuku. However, just like for Crunch, Bibarel usually can't find the room for this move. With Lum Berry, Bibarel can find more easily setup opportunities more easily on defensive Pokemon such as Mareanie and Altaria that rely on Scald burns and Toxic to deal with it. However, Bibarel misses out on the boost from Life Orb or Silk Scarf, which is needed to OHKO Bronzor or weaken faster Pokemon such as Leafeon and Furfrou.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Ghost-types**: Ghost-types are immune to Bibarel's priority and strongest move. Thus, defensive Ghost-types such as Gourgeist-XL, Dusclops, and Shedinja as well as the Ghost-types faster than Bibarel such as Misdreavus and Gourgeist-S can check Bibarel it even when boosted.

**Faster bulky Bulky Pokemon**: Since Bibarel isn't fast, several Pokemon such as defensive Silvally formes, Leafeon, and Choice Band Furfrou outspeed it and are bulky enough to take a boosted priority move before knocking out Bibarel KOing it.

**Offensive Pressure**: Since Bibarel's initial power is very limited, the best way to deal with it is to prevent it from setting up. Bibarel's Its mediocre bulk paired with its medium mediocre Speed lets it easily getting pressured by common attackers such as Servine, Raichu, and Silvally-Dragon, which can OHKO it before it sets up.

However, Bibarel's stats are average at best. Its low initial power means Bibarel it requires using a boost from Swords Dance before becoming threatening. Additionally, Bibarel struggles to find setup opportunities when screens are not on the field due to its mediocre bulk and lack of useful resistances. Most offensive Pokemon such as Komala or and Floatzel can OHKO it with their STAB moves or with and super effective coverage moves. Additionally, its Speed is not high enough to outspeed some very common Pokemon such as the different Silvally forms and its different formes and Rotom-S that also avoid the OHKO from a boosted Quick Attack. Because of these flaws, Bibarel is mostly seen on sticky web Sticky Web and dual screens offense with the support of Shuckle and Electrode.
