All roles have been sent out. The game has not started however please feel free to confirm you have received it either here or in thread. Please try your best not to angleshoot (this means go beyond the intended integrity of the game). Smogon is often lax on this, but it is a lot harder for our newbies to know what can be outting outside of game. I am hoping for gamestart tonight/this evening.
Please note, I will not lie to you in this game. That being said there are priority systems in mafia games, here are some important notes that I will preface the game with to hopefully not be brought into in game mechanics discussions:
This game may get frustrating at times, please take it as a bit of fun, revival of mafia and ode to a hype game of survivor. Try not take it too seriously. Also, please be kind to the newbies. They have in some cases been persuaded to join and they are still learning. Everyone gets frustrated in mafia, but please no insults especially at the new guys learning.
If I feel like someone is being too in the face I might remove their vote for the phase as a punishment. Obviously frustrated is allowed and part of the game, I am talking about "You are a ******"etc. Will be stricter on this directed at newbies and if its one way, but regardless turn down the heat please. Expect this to not come into play at all just using it as a very last punishment thing, after warnings have been provided.
Here are the wincons of the main factions in the game:
- You are town, you win when all threats to town have been eliminated from the game.
- You are mafia and win when it is impossible for town to eliminate you all. (Not parity)
- Third party may or may not exist, their wincon would exist in their role pm
Day 1 will last 72 hours. Every following day will be 48 hours. Deadlines will be at midnight GMT because any later doesn't fit into my work schedule at all. Night phases will be 24 hours total, however you will only have 21 hours to submit. Submission deadline will be 9pm GMT for night actions. The remaining 3 hours will be for me to resolve and get everything sorted for the start of the day phase.
Hammer is in effect day 1 and every following day unless stated otherwise. Hammer means that if someone ever reaches a point where majority of votes in the game are on one player, the day phase will immediately end with the player being booted.
I hope everyone makes an effort and I would like to say one last welcome to all new and long-term returning players. Please everyone remember to be inclusive, especially buzzwords etc can be hard to comprehend so take time to explain what you mean to players so they can learn!
Final note, flavour is not alignment indicative. So feel free to claim it as you like, though it might out other things obviously. To new players who are playing for the first time, I suggest taking some moments at game start. Don't rush into anything and it is ok to take it slow and find yourself in the game, though it can of course be overwhelming. Good luck to all!

I will ask you to describe an exact role for me and answer how I would resolve this accordingly, even if I know you are making a mistake it is your duty to be clear. I can only answer a question I am asked and will never do so in thread. That being said, often in high mechanics games people tend to try bring the host in as an excuse both to get away with stuff and to catch people out. It is neither my duty to back up your lie, nor is it my duty to help you catch someone on a lie. That being said please please please try not to bring me into the game.
