[SET COMMENTS]
Blacephalon stands out as a fast, strong wallbreaker mainly due to Mind Blown, letting it fire off a powerful attack for free thanks to Magic Guard. Blacephalon is incredibly difficult to wall due to its high Special Attack and powerful STAB combination that is nearly unresisted, and it often requires a RegenVest, Flash Fire, or Primordial Sea user to check properly. Knock Off cripples Pokemon such as Chansey, Assault Vest Silvally-Dragon, and Assault Vest Swampert, while Substitute allows Blacephalon to take advantage of Chansey, Blissey, and Brave Bird-less Corviknight or a predicted switch, which can be especially deadly in combination with Calm Mind. Psyshock allows Blacephalon to OHKO Nihilego, which otherwise walls it.

Teammates such as Azelf, Tinted Lens Genesect, Togekiss, and Zarude appreciate Blacephalon's ability to check walls such as Blissey, Chansey, Cobalion, Corviknight, and Heatran. Due to Blacephalon's poor bulk, it is often OHKOed by neutral, especially physical attacks, so it appreciates pivot support from Pokemon such as Blissey, Corviknight, and Swampert. Teammates such as Zarude, which can threaten defensive walls to Blacephalon such as specially defensive Flash Fire Ferrothorn, Assault Vest Swampert, Blissey and Chansey are appreciated. Teammates such as Tapu Fini and Cobalion can check offensive threats such as Barraskewda and Choice Scarf Landorus-T.

Choice Specs makes it easier for Blacephalon to break through special walls such as Blissey; a Choice Specs Adaptability set can 2HKO non- Assault Vest specially defensive Swampert and Garchomp but is vulnerable to being worn down due to the lack of Magic Guard. Choice Scarf turns Blacephalon into a better revenge killer. Trick can be used with either Choice item to cripple switch-ins such as specially defensive Silvally-Dragon, Swampert, and Garchomp. Desolate Land + Solar Beam lets Blacephalon OHKO Assault Vest Swampert and Tapu Fini after Stealth Rock with Life Orb, but running Life Orb means Blacephalon gets worn down quickly. Heavy-Duty Boots makes Blacephalon less vulnerable to entry hazards, but it lacks power. Sheer Force allows Blacephalon to 2HKO Tapu Fini as well as non-Assault Vest specially defensive Swampert and Garchomp. Flame Charge provides utility against teams that rely on having faster Pokemon to check Blacephalon.

Checks and Counters
===================

**RegenVest Users**: Most RegenVest users are able to switch into Blacephalon and pivot into a revenge killer to OHKO it, although they must be wary of Knock Off. Swampert is especially an issue for Blacephalon, as Flip Turn OHKOes Blacephalon.

**Faster Pokemon**: Faster Pokemon such as Barraskewda, Talonflame, and Scarf users like Landorus-T and Zapdos-G outspeed Blacephalon and OHKO it, though they can usually only take a resisted hit.

Blacephalon stands out as a fast, strong wallbreaker mainly due to its access to Mind Blown, letting it fire off a powerful attack for free thanks to Magic Guard. Thanks to its high special attack and powerful STAB combination which is nearly unresisted by the viable metagameSTAB combination, only resisted by the occasional Incineroar (There are several uncommon things that resist fire/ghost, but it's probably best not to phrase it as if Incineroar is the only one people use), it is difficult to wall, often requiring specially defensive Swampert or a Flash Fire Pokemon. Mind Blown and Shadow Ball are the obligatory STABs, while Knock Off can cripple Pokemon such as Chansey, Assault Vest Silvally-Dragon, Assault Vest Swampert, and Choice Scarfers, while Substitute allows Blacephalon to set up a Substitute for free against Chansey and Blissey (Chansey never runs Shadow Ball) Blissey and Chansey lacking Shadow Ball, Corviknight lacking Brave Bird, and on a predicted switch, which can be especially deadly with Calm Mind. Psyshock allows Blacephalon to deal more damage to with the occasional Nihilego, which otherwise walls Blacephalon. The EV spread is simple, maximizing Blacephalon's Special Attack and Speed, and a Timid nature allows Blacephalon to outspeed threats such as Jolly Zarude, and offensive Zapdos, while a Hasty nature is used when using Knock Off to not decrease Knock Off's damage.

Teammates such as Azelf, Tinted Lens Genesect, Togekiss, Weavile and Zarude appreciate Blacephalon's ability to check walls such as Blissey and Chansey, Cobalion, Corviknight, and Heatran. Because of Blacephalon's poor bulk, it is often OHKO'd by neutral hits, especially physical ones because of its low defense stat and Hasty nature when using Knock Off. Because of this, it appreciates pivot support from Pokemon such as Blissey, Corviknight, and Swampert. Teammates such as Weavile and Zarude that can check Pokemon such as specially defensive Flash Fire Ferrothorn, Swampert and Garchomp are appreciated, as well as Barraskewda, Choice Scarf Landorus-T, and Weavile are appreciated as well. (This last sentence is extremely confusing to read. To my understanding, you're trying to say that people need to prep for both the defensive and offensive answers to Blacephalon. If that's the case, then you should split this up into two different sentences with examples for both.)

Definitely mention Specs Adaptability here. It trades the hazard/status immunity for a lot more power. Desolate Land can be used alongside Solar Beam to achieve feats such as OHKOing Assault Vest Swampert and OHKOing Tapu Fini after Stealth Rock with Life Orb. However, Blacephalon has to run Life Orb to achieve these feats, meaning it can be chipped by hazards and Life Orb recoil quickly. Using Heavy-Duty-Boots makes you harder to wear down, but makes you unable to achieve the OHKO's on Swampert and Tapu Fini. Howver, you are still able to 2HKO them. Sheer Force can also be used to 2HKO Tapu Fini, 2HKO specially defensive Swampert without an Assault Vest and 2HKO specially defensive Garchomp without an Assault Vest. Flame Charge is an option against faster teams that rely on their Pokemon outspeeding Blacephalon to check it, while Trick can cripple switch-ins such as specially defensive Silvally-Dragon, Swampert and Garchomp.

Checks and Counters

**RegenVesters**: Most RegenVesters are able to switch-in to Blacephalon and pivot out to something that can outspeed and OHKO Blacephalon, though they must be wary of Knock Off. Swampert is especially an issue for Blacephalon, as Flip Turn is able to OHKO Blacephalon while being able to pivot.

**Faster Pokemon**: Fast Pokemon such as Barraskewda, Talonflame, Weavile and Choice Scarfers can outspeed and OHKO Blacephalon, though they can usually only take a resisted hit.

Blacephalon can utilize a Choice Specs Adaptability set to 2HKO specially defensive Swampert and Garchomp without an Assault Vest. Trick can be used on this set to cripple switch-ins such as specially defensive Silvally-Dragon, Swampert and Garchomp. However, without Magic Guard or Heavy-Duty-Boots adapt only runs Specs, it is easy for Blacephalon to be chipped down. Desolate Land can be used alongside Solar Beam to achieve feats such as OHKOing Assault Vest Swampert and OHKOing Tapu Fini after Stealth Rock with Life Orb. Also mention choice items alongside Trick for the Magic Guard set, Scarf for speed control and Specs for the 2hko on Blissey.
