SM OU Black Hole Aron

Black Hole Aron
This team is made around the fact that,
during a sandstorm, aron can destroy almost anything.
He uses endeavor, the oponent Hp goes to 1 (or 12), then sandstorm kills.
Aron gets hit, shell bell cures. Of course, there are lots of holes in this strategy.
Status. Entry Hazard. Greninja. Grounds. Steels. Rocks. Ghosts. All those must die.
This team is here to help agronn destroy everything in his path - like a real black hole.

Aron

Aron @ Shell Bell
Ability: Sturdy
Level: 1
EVs: 36 Spe
Hasty Nature
IVs: 0 HP / 0 Atk / 0 Def / 0 SpD
- Endeavor
- Stealth Rock
- Roar
- Sleep Talk

This is aron. Its item and ability are so that the strategy can work.
The IVs and EVs are there so that he can be the weakest possible.
The EVs and Hasty is so that he can outspeed other fears.
Stealth Rock and Roar are there so that, even if the plan fails,
he can still suport the team. Sleep Talk is if the oponent tryes to make
you asleep (if facing a breloom, use Sleep Talk imediately. He IS
going to use Spore).

Gigalith

Gigalith @ Smooth Rock
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Heavy Slam
- Rock Slide
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

Gigalith is here because it does its job better than
Tyranitar: Setting sandstorm. Tyranitar cant do it, because that
need the choice band to do the job it would fit best: trapping ghosts.
But, if he had a Choice Band, I wont have time to bring Aron in.
Gigalith is more bulky than Tyranitar. Not very efffective physical hits?
He can talk all of that. Rock Slide is his Stab, Heavy Slam is his way to
kill fairys. (Note that this can realy damage Mimikyu, a ghost type that would
otherwise wall Aron)

Mantine

Mantine @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 248 HP / 136 Def / 124 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Roost
- Scald
- Haze
- Defog

Mantine eats hits from Greninja like it was nothing,
and hits super-effective Grounds and Rocks. Not that it is its
main function, its here to complete the Double Defog Core Mantine + Scizor.
Having a double defog core helps so that there is no hazard in your side of the

field to bring in aron. Roost for Hp and Haze is to not be settup folder.

Mega Scizor

Scizor-Mega @ Scizorite
Ability: Technician
EVs: 216 HP / 92 Def / 200 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- U-turn
- Bullet Punch
- Defog
- Roost

Scizor, while making the defensive core, also brings
a very good way to bring aron: U-Turn. Its speed is the lowest possible so that
U-Turn always come last, to safely bring aron. However, if you think the oponent
might set entry hazards, its best to make a direct switch to aron, otherwise
it will get hurt. Bullet Punch, not only being stab, can also be used to finish
what Aron didnt finished: If aron uses endeavor and there is no sandstorm/agains a rock, steel or ground, the oponent will be reduced to 1 or 12 Hp. And scizor can
easly destroy it.

Tapu Koko

Tapu Koko @ Magnet
Ability: Electric Surge
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Dazzling Gleam
- U-turn

Till here, the team was lacking offensive presence.
Not anymore. Tapu Koko completes a offensive core with Scizor,
this time a Volt Turn core. A volt turn core is very good here,
as it gives a lot of oportunitys to bring aron. Hidden Power Ice is
for Landorus, because it would give this team a lot of problems.

Greninja

Greninja @ Choice Specs
Ability: Protean
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Ice Beam
- Extrasensory
- Hydro Pump

Greninja makes another core, this time an offensive one with Tapu Koko.
Hidden Power Fire will kill Ferrothorn, that not only walls the rest of the team,
but also destroys Aron with Iron Barbs! And he also sets hazards! Ferrothorn is dead
against this frog. Ice Bean hits Common Ground/Flying/Dragon, such as Garchomp, Landorus and Zygard. Extrasensory is so that no Toxapex can wall this one, and
Hydro Pump is for Heatran, that can defeat aron with Flame Body, and some others.

Conclusion

This is the team. An odd strategy? Yea.
But remember, this team has 3 cores in it. If something like
Tapu Koko died, you still have things to use. This team late game is
surprisingly strong. With many cores, at least 1 survives to the end,
and after all Aron's checks are removed... its basicaly a win.
Aron is a good anti-stall measure, making their so bulky pokémons
almost dead, or even dead. This team has an amazing matchup against stall,
not only having good answers to almost all pokémons in stall.
Extrassensory and Tapu Koko for Toxapex, Mega Scizor for Chansey,
HP Fire to Ferrothorn. Ferrothorn is one of the few stall
pokémons that are immune of sandstorm, he and Celesteela.
Celesteela is dead by HP Fire and Koko.
Aron has very oportunitys to enter against stall:
Agains a toxic (thx steel type), in a entry
hasard set-up, in a roost. Aron destroys
stall like a black hole destroys planets.

NOTE: Changed the Gigalith with this Hippowdown:

Hippowdon @ Smooth Rock
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Slack Off
- Whirlwind
- Toxic

Its more bulky, has a better recover and brings a good electric immunity.

Greetings! Welcome to Rate my Team Forums!

I'm sorry to say this but F.E.A.R Aron isn't very viable in S/M Overused. It's a cheese strategy at best that will barely get to 1 kill or so at most, or sweep very unprepared low-ladder esque teams. There are better sand abusers out there, as well as some of the choices of moves/spreads/Pokemon are also very iffy. If you're looking to get into the tier, these can be quite of great help: It would be better to rebuild with a better focus in mind than try to fix this team which may require an overhaul.

Note: Try not to reply with "oh but aron does this, aron does that. Smogon limits creativity/originality." A lot of the sets that are standard to this day have been innovated from scratch, and strange things becoming meta like ORAS' Rocky Helmet Garchomp is just a prime example. Creativity also isn't dead as more and more underrated and sets are being crafted to this very day. In addition, non OU Pokemon like Nidoking and Suicune also do have small but admirable/legitimate niches in the metagame. Something like Aron, maybe not so much.
