With its access to Shell Smash, Blastoise performs the role of a sweeper or late-game cleaner for Water-type teams. Its mediocre Special Attack stat reaches threatening levels with Shell Smash, and an array of high-powered moves like Hydro Pump and Focus Blast makes it hard to stop when its checks and counters like Toxapex and Mantine are weakened or taken out by its teammates. STAB Hydro Pump is the strongest move on the set and allows Blastoise to net KOs once boosted against Pokemon like Indeedee and Drapion. Additionally, with the combination of Torrent and Shell Smash, Hydro Pump Blastoise is able to beat Pokemon such as Corviknight and Choice Specs Aegislash from full health when worn down. Ice Beam is used to take care of Grass- and Dragon-type Pokemon like Celebi and Dragapult. Focus Blast is used for threats like Ferrothorn, Snorlax, and Kyurem-B that can stomach other moves from the set. Blastoise should find opportunities to set up against passive Pokemon like Corviknight, Mandibuzz, and Galarian Weezing. Its decent natural bulk also grants it some setup opportunities against attacks from Pokemon like Excadrill, Duraludon, and Gardevoir. Maximum Speed and Special Attack investment with a Modest nature makes Blastoise hit as hard as possible and allows it to outspeed threats like Dragapult and Zeraora after a Shell Smash boost. White Herb enables Blastoise to take hits from priority users like Bisharp and Diggersby after Shell Smash, making it harder to revenge kill and potentially giving it the chance to set up Shell Smash again. White Herb is also useful against Sticky Web, as it negates stat drops and lets Blastoise maintain its base Speed.

Other setup sweepers like Cloyster, Barbaracle, and Gyarados appreciate Blastoise breaking through teams with Shell Smash and weakening each other's checks and counters. Since Blastoise struggles against Pokemon like Toxapex, teammates that can beat it like Choice Specs Pelipper, Barraskweda, and Seismitoad make for good teammates, the last of which also provides Blastoise with an important Electric-type immunity and Stealth Rock support to score easier KOs. Toxapex is another good teammate for Blastoise, as it can cripple and wear down teams with Toxic or Toxic Spikes and provide a Grass-type neutrality to the team. Choice Scarf Dracovish forms a dangerous offensive Water-type core with Blastoise, weakening the opponent's switch-ins to Water-type moves. Rotom-W and Pelipper provide Blastoise with not only Defog support but also essential Volt Switch and U-turn support to grant it more opportunities to use Shell Smash. Additionally, Rotom-W can cripple threats with Thunder Wave, while Pelipper summons rain through Drizzle to power up Blastoise's Hydro Pump. Wallbreakers like Crawdaunt and Keldeo take care of Pokemon like Jellicent and Ferrothorn, respectively, making it easier for Blastoise to clean teams late-game. Araquanid's Sticky Web support enables Blastoise to outspeed faster Choice Scarf users like Gengar and Weavile and threaten opposing teams even better.

"With its newfound access to Shell Smash, Blastoise performs the role of a sweeper or cleaner late-game for Water-type teams."
Don't need to mention time related things in analyses

You can remove Togekiss and Flying-type Pokemon for Ice Beam. I think it's mainly just Grass- and Dragon-type Pokemon you're using it for, Ice Beam isn't reliable against Togekiss anyways. I would just stick to those two and use Celebi and Dragapult as examples.

Duraludon and Excadrill > Drapion for talking about the good bulk.

Put more emphasis on Torrent when talking about Hydro Pump and types of Pokemon you can beat with the boost. For example, a +2 Blastoise can beat Corviknight and Choice Specs Aegislash from full with Torrent.
+2 252+ SpA Torrent Blastoise Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Aegislash-Shield: 330-388 (101.8 - 119.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252+ SpA Torrent Blastoise Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Corviknight: 355-418 (88.7 - 104.5%) -- 31.3% chance to OHKO after Leftovers recovery

Need to highlight how the rain supports Blastoise's Hydro Pump. You can actually beat Toxapex with a Shell Smash in conjunction with rain and Torrent, so that's important to call out.
+2 252+ SpA Torrent Blastoise Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Toxapex in Rain: 244-288 (80.2 - 94.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Black Sludge recovery

Give some examples of Pokemon Araquanid helps Blastoise outspeed with Sticky Web. Choice Scarf Weavile and Choice Scarf Gengar make good ones.

- for the first line with the part about threats celebi does threaten venusaur, but not defensively so i dont think its the best example here
- i dont think alolan ninetales is the best example of what hydro pump ohkos bz in the 1v1 scenario alolan ninetales should have setup aurora veil making this not true
- for the line about setting up against defensive pokemon maybe change the word to passive, i feel that better describes how it sets up on them
- for the line about white herb, i feel like noting how it can be useful against sticky web teams is useful
- shell smash+torrent+rain seems like a very niche scenario for blastoise in the second paragraph, dont know if i would mention that. up 2 u tho ig
- would mention dracovish as a teammate, since the two together form a dangerous water spamming core. dracovish runs scarf giving immediate speed on top of webs
