Team Preview

In preparation for the next VGC events I decided to take a whack at creating a team specifically for VGC. This also doubles as my first Doubles team so it'll help me gain experience in the art of Doubles. Anyway, here's the team. Please rate and comment as I need all the help I can get in making this team good before starting the heavy process of building it ingame.
In Depth Look

@ Charizardite X
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
Dragon Claw
Protect
Earthquake/Rock Slide
Flare Blitz
The main attacker as well as my Mega of choice. When I first started the team I experimented between Charizard's two mega forms, and after some testing I found that Mega Charizard X was a better option than Y. The reason for this is because of his typing. Fire/Dragon is a great combination that allows Charizard to take on numerous threats. In addition, he helps focus on my physical core for the team. Anyway, standard Charizard X set, though I'm going back and forth between whether he should use Earthquake or Rock Slide as his third move.

@ Lum Berry
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
Bullet Punch
Protect
Swords Dance
X-Scissor
Scizor plays as my secondary physical sweeper, and for good reason. He has good synergy with Charizard X in that the dragon can take fire-type moves while Scizor can handle dragons. In addition, he has good priority thanks to a boosted Bullet Punch, especially should he get off a Swords Dance. X-Scissor is mainly there as a secondary STAB and filler as Bullet Punch is really all Scizor needs, though it does provide an option to dealing with Pokemon who resist Bullet Punch.

@ Leftovers
Ability: Cute Charm
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SAtk
Bold Nature
Shadow Ball
Protect
Calm Mind
Dazzling Gleam
While Espeon made a great Dual Screener, the screens weren't preventing enough damage to warrant a slot. Not only that, but Espeon was relatively fragile making her easy to kill. As such, I swapped her out for a Calm Mind Sylveon. With Sylveon's bulk and typing she is able to get off a Calm Mind and begin to sweep. Shadow Ball provides a way to hit Steel types like Aegislash when Dazzling Gleam is ineffective. Dazzling Gleam, while weaker than Moonblast, allows Sylveon to hit both opponents at once.

@ Yache Berry
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 8 HP / 248 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
Rock Slide
Protect
Fire Blast
Draco Meteor
My one and only major special attacker. Most people are bound to expect a physical variant of Salamence when they see it in team preview, but they'll be in for quite a shock when they're hit by a STAB Draco Meteor. Rock Slide may be an odd choice, but even with a attack lowering nature and no EVs invested it will still deal enough damage. The chance of flinch also helps out as well. Fire Blast and Draco Meteor are the big hitters for Salamence as very flew can withstand their power.

@ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 SDef
Calm Nature
Discharge
Protect
Will-O-Wisp
Leaf Storm
This is a Pokemon you don't see often, which makes it a great choice and a wonderful surprise to those who think they'll see Rotom Wash or Rotom Heat. In my opinion, Rotom-Mow is an underated forme to Rotom. It's typing gives it immunity to both Paralysis and all spore inducing moves (I'm looking at you Spore) as well as access to a powerful STAB that makes Rotom-Wash want to cry. In addition, it shares great synergy with Charizard X as the fire dragon can take fire attacks while Rotom-Mow can aborsb Water attacks.

@ Choice Band
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
Aqua Jet
Play Rough
Waterfall
Superpower
The final member of my team as well as my answer to dragon and fire types. Azumarill also complements the FGW setup for my team. Anyway, the goal is simple: smash any Pokemon that gives my team trouble. Azumarill is also handles my problem with Trick Room teams thanks to its slow speed. The only problem I have with Azumarill is being locked into a move as well as lacking Protect making his uses limited.
