[OVERVIEW]

It might not seem like there's much reason to use Blissey over Chansey, as Eviolite allows Chansey to be generally more bulky. However, in 1v1, Chansey can't have Charm and Seismic Toss or Charm and Psywave on the same set, while Blissey can use both together. Because of this, Blissey's niche is its ability to use Charm and Seismic Toss, making it a more reliable Charm wall than Chansey, and with Fairium Z, Blissey is also rotected from being crippled by Trick or Switcheroo. This differentiates Blissey from Chansey. However, Blissey still almost always loses to these Fighting-types like Mega Lopunny and Sawk.

Moves
========

Z-Charm gives Blissey a better matchup against physical attackers, as Blissey already has a great matchup against special attackers such as Mega Charizard Y. Physical attackers that don't do enough damage to Blissey before a Z-Charm will find themselves unable to KO Blissey unless they get a critical hit. Seismic Toss is a very consistent attack that does 100 damage every turn, unlike Psywave, which isn't very reliable, and also doesn't affect one of the best Pokemon in the tier, Mega Gyarados. Blissey appreciates this consistent form of damage, as its offensive stats are low. Soft-Boiled is mandatory for reliable recovery, it helps keep Blissey healthy and allows it to stall opponents out successfully. Confide is a good option on Blissey, as it allows it to neutralize Calm Mind users like Magearna making Blissey an even better special wall. Counter is a bit niche, but is helpful for strong Z-Move users like Dragonite.

Set Details
========

Farium Z allows Blissey to boost its Defense when using Charm, allowing it to tank more physical hits. It also lets Blissey be less afraid of Taunt from Pokemon like Mega Gyarados, as Z-Charm goes through Taunt. Additionally, it prevents Blissey from becoming useless with Trick, as if Blissey is locked into a move after receiving a Choice Item, it will often lose the game. Both of Blissey's abilities are pretty useless for it, so Natural Cure is chosen so Serene Grace cannot be used against Blissey by opposing Trace or Skill Swap users. The EV spread and Bold nature maximizes Blissey's physical bulk, as its special bulk is already enough to take hits well.

Usage Tips
========

Against physical attackers like Mega Gyarados which are the most common Pokemon in 1v1, Blissey should start the match off by using Z-Charm. However, if the attacker is extremely strong and will bring Blissey to 25% or lower, Blissey should use Counter if it has it, as Z-Charm isn't enough against Pokemon like Dragonite. If facing Charizard, Charm first, as you can't risk it being Mega Charizard X, and Blissey wins against Mega Charizard Y anyways. However, Substitute and Belly Drum are problematic. If you have Counter and are facing Mega Metagross, you should always Counter first, as if you use Z-Charm, a smartly played Mega MetagrossMetagross will wait before Mega Evolving to use Clear Body to prevent its Attack from being lowered by Z-Charm. Send out Blissey if you're predicting either a special attacker or a physical attacker Z-Charm would beat, like Magearna or Mega Tyranitar. It's also wise to keep your Blissey at high health as much as possible to prevent it from losing to Critical Hits.

Team Options
========

Blissey likes having Steel-type partners like Mega Metagross or Magearna, as Tapu Lele is a particularly obnoxious special attacker that's easily stopped by Steel-types, while Pokemon like Dragonite can overpower Blissey but lose to Steel-types. Because of this, Mega Mawile is a good partner by being able to beat more Physical Attackers with Intimidate. Blissey also likes being with generally bulky physical walls, as they often struggle with special attackers, which Blissey usually doesn't have problems against. Examples of these physical walls would be Mega Slowbro and Kee Berry Mew, which both beat Fighting-types well.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Toxic is helpful in theory, as though Seismic Toss ends games more quickly, Toxic beats Pokemon with recovery like Roost Mega Altaria. Psywave helps get possibly higher damage while hitting Ghost-types like Mega Gengar. Flamethrower beats Aegislash, and be used with Serene Gracefor an increased burn chance. Blissey can also use Ice Beam to have a better chance against Pokemon x4 times weak to Ice, as well as take advantage of its 20% chance to freeze with Serene Grace. Ice Punch, while not the most appealing option because it's a physical move, can be used because it has more PP, meaning more opportunities to freeze, and solidifies the matchup against other stall Pokemon. Rest can be used to PP stall Pokemon like Chansey, opposing Blissey, and Zygarde-C. Sing, while inaccurate, induces sleep, which can be very helpful if it hits Pokemon that use Substitute like Mega Charizard X and Landorus-T.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Fighting-types**: Fighting-types such as Mega Lopunny, Sawk and Mega Heracross can OHKO Blissey with their strong physical STAB moves.

**Substitute**: The Attack-lowering of Z-Charm doesn't go through Substitute, meaning after using Substitute, some Pokemon like Landorus-T and Mega Charizard X get free turns to boost their Attack stat.

**Strong Z-Moves**: Assuming Blissey doesn't run Protect, moves like Dragonite's Devastating Drake can either OHKO Blissey or do enough damage to get Blissey to a point where it cannot win. Even some special attackers have the ability to beat Blissey, as Pokemon like Tapu Lele and Magnezone can use Strong Z -Moves that can break through Blissey, with Calm Mind and Metal Sound respectively.

**Ghost-types**: Marowak-A and Mega Gengar will be able to beat Blissey if its only attack is Seismic Toss, albeit slowly. However, if Blissey is running an attacking move like Flamethrower or Ice Beam, it can have a better matchup against Mega Gengar.

**Taunt Users**: Taunt only lets Blissey use Seismic Toss and Z-Charm, so even special attackers like Tapu Lele or Tapu Fini can overpower Blissey once it can't use Confide or Soft-Boiled.

**Clear Body or Hyper Cutter Pokemon**: Pokemon like Metagross get Clear Body, while Pinsir and Mega Mawile can use Hyper Cutter to prevent their Attack from being lowered.

- Farium-Z allows Blissey to boost its defense when using Charm, allowing it to tank more physical hits.
- Additionally, it prevents Blissey from becoming useless with Trick, as if Blissey is locked into a move after receiving a Choice Item, it will often lose the game.
- Natural Cure is an entirely useless ability in 1v1 with the inability to switch, however in the rare case that the opponent uses Skill Swap, Trace is probably a more relevant mention than Skill Swap ie Gardevoir, Mega Zam it'd be ideal for that Pokemon to have Natural Cure than Serene Grace.
- This EV spread maximizes Blissey's physical bulk, as its special bulk is already enough to take hits well. The Bold nature, again, helps its low Defense.

Usage Tips
========

- Against Physical Attackers, which are most Pokemon in 1v1, Blissey should start the match off by using Z-Charm.

- If you have Counter and are facing Metagross, you should always Counter first, as sometimes if you use Z-Charm, a smartly played Mega Metagross can stay regular and not get its attack lowered by Z-Charm.
- Send out Blissey if you're predicting either a special attacker or a physical attacker you know you can stop, like Porygon-Z Porygon-Z isn't a great example as Blissey loses to Nasty Plot sets or Mega Metagross.

Team Options
========

- Blissey likes having Steel-Type partners, as Tapu Lele is a particularly obnoxious special attacker that's easily stopped by Steel Types, while Mimikyu is an irritating physical attacker.
- Because of this, Mega Mawile is a good partner, and also helps Blissey out by being able to beat more Physical Attackers with Intimidate.
- Blissey also likes being with generally bulky physical walls, as they often struggle with special attackers, which Blissey usually doesn't have problems against.
- Examples of these physical walls would be Mega Slowbro and Kee Berry Mew, which both beat Fighting Types well. A Calm Mind set could be usable with Hyper Voice can boost Blissey's Special Defense to nearly unbreakable levels, while boosting its mediocre Special Attack.

- Because Blissey has a very wide movepool, it has a lot of other options to run, usually over Confide.
- Flamethrower is good for beating Aeigslash as well as having a decent chance to burn with Serene Grace.
- Blissey can use Ice Beam to have a better chance against Pokemon 4 times weak to it, but more importantly has a 20% chance to freeze with Serene Grace. Ice Punch, while not the most appealing option because of its status as a physical move, can be used because it has more PP, meaning more chances to freeze it.
- Rest can be used to PP Stall stall Pokemon like Chansey, opposing Blissey and Mega Venusaur.
- Sing, while inaccurate, induces sleep which can be very helpful if it hits. Thunder Wave can slow down some opponents while making the opposing Pokemon unable to attack in some matchups, and also goes through substitutes. Twave doesn't go through sub, and with the para nerf in gen7, probably isn't worth mentioning
- Psychic is a good way to beat Mega Gengar, as Seismic Toss is unable to damage it.
Move the mention of Calm Mind from Team Options to OO.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Fighting Types**: Fighting types such as Mega Loppunny, Sawk and Mega Heracross can do massive damage to Blissey, even if special, to the best of my knowledge, Blissey beats every Fighting-type spattacker in 1v1 while Blissey can only really Seismic Toss against them.
**Substitute users**: The attack lowering part of Z-Charm doesn't go through Substitute, meaning after using Substiute, some Pokemon like Landorus-Therian or Mega Charizard X get free turns to boost their Attack stat.
**Strong Z-Move users**: Assuming Blissey doesn't run Protect, moves like Dragonite's Devastating Drake can either OHKO Blissey or do enough damage to get Blissey to a point where it still can win. Even some special attackers can win, as Pokemon like Tapu Lele and Magnezone have tools that can break through Blissey, with Taunt and Metal Sound respectively.
**Ghost Types**: Mimikyu and Mega Gengar will be able to beat Blissey whose only attack is Seismic Toss, albeit slowly. However, if Blissey is running an attacking move like Flamethrower or Ice Beam, it can have a better matchup vs Swords Dance Mimikyu and Gengar.

- Z-Charm gives Blissey a better matchup against physical attackers such as?, as Blissey already has a great matchup against special attackers such as?. Mention that it also can go through Taunt, negating one of the best counters to Stall/Semistall for one turn

- Seismic Toss is a very consistent attack that is really the whole reason to use Blissey. It will do 100 damage every turn, unlike Psywave, which isn't very reliable, and also doesn't affect one of the best Pokemon in the tier, Mega Gyarados.
- Blissey appreciates this consistent form of damage, as its Special Attack is low, and therefore can't rely on more traditional methods of attack.
- Soft-Boiled is mandatory for reliable recovery, it helps keep it healthy and allows it to stall opponents such as? out successfully. Mention that it also keeps it out of range of a critical hit from certain attacks
- Confide is a good option on Blissey, as it allows it to neutralize Calm Mind users like Magearna which Blissey really wants to beat as a special wall.
- Counter and Protect are a bit more of a niche options, but are helpful for strong Z-Move users like Dragonite. Toxic is for stalling, although there aren't many specific matchups where it's useful. If this is the case, move it to OO. I think you can keep Counter tho, it would be the best move to have here, Protect without Toxic basically just leads to 50/50s, and Counter helps with mons that will always do above 75%. You also talk about it the most in USage tips

- Natural Cure is pretty much a useless ability in 1v1 with the inability to switch, however if the opponent has the ability Trace or uses Skill Swap, it'd be ideal for that Pokemon to have Natural Cure than Serene Grace. Yes, this is true, you should change Serene Grace as it only helps your opponent, and then specify that Natural Cure is used to hinder Tracing Pokemon like Mega Alakazam and Gardevoir
- This EV spread maximizes Blissey's physical bulk, as its special bulk is already enough to take hits well. The Bold nature helps its low Defense.

Usage Tips
========

- Against Physical Attackers, such as? which are most Pokemon in 1v1 fluff, Blissey should start the match off by using Z-Charm.
- However, if the attacker is extremely strong and will bring Blissey to 25% or lower, Blissey should Counter if it has it, as Z-Charm isn't enough to tank a second hit. Include examples of mons that can do this
- If you have Protect and anticipate a Z-Move, use Protect to reduce the damage. Move this to OO, 50/50s are always unreliable
- If you play are facing a Charizard, Charm first, as you can't risk it being Mega Charizard X. You win vs Mega Y anyways. Mention Belly Drum Char X, which can overpower blissey
- If you have Counter and are facing Mega Metagross, you should always Counter first, as if you use Z-Charm, a smartly played Mega Metagross can stay regular and not get its attack lowered by Z-Charm.
- Send out Blissey if you're predicting either a special attacker or a physical attacker you know you can stop, like Magearna or Mega Metagross Since 'special attacker' and 'physical attacker' are very vague, I would suggest adding more examples here.
- It's also wise to keep your Blissey at high health as much as possible to prevent it from losing to Critical Hits.

Team Options
========

- Blissey likes having Steel-Type partners like Mega Metagross or Magearna, as Tapu Lele is a particularly obnoxious special attacker that's easily stopped by Steel Types, while Dokemon like Dragonite can overpower Blissey but lose to Steel-types.
- Because of this, Mega Mawile is a good partner, and also helps Blissey out by being able to beat more Physical Attackers with Intimidate.
- Blissey also likes being with generally bulky physical walls, as they often struggle with special attackers, which Blissey usually doesn't have problems against. Examples of these physical walls would be Mega Slowbro and Kee Berry Mew, which both beat Fighting Types well.

Other Options
=============

- Because Blissey has a very wide movepool, it has a lot of other options to run, usually over Confide. This is basically assumed if there are moves in OO. You can still mention that the OOs replace Confide/Counter, as every other move is essential
- Psywave helps get possibly higher damage while hitting Ghost Types like Mega Gengar.
- Flamethrower is good for beating Aegislash as well as having a decent chance to burn with Serene Grace. Since Natural Cure is optimal on the main set, reword this to say "Run SG if you decide to run flamethrower"
- Blissey can use Ice Beam to have a better chance against Pokemon 4 times weak to it, but more importantly has a 20% chance to freeze with Serene Grace. Ice Punch, while not the most appealing option because of it's a physical move, can be used because it has more PP, meaning more chances to freeze it, and solidifies the matchup vs other stall Pokemon. If this doesn't actually beat anything, remove this. 20% to freeze is above average, but it doesn't even guarantee anything cause they can thaw
- Rest can be used to PP Stall stall Pokemon like Chansey, opposing Blissey and Mega Venusaur.
- Sing, while inaccurate, induces sleep which can be very helpful if it hits. What matchup is this useful for?

Checks and Counters
===================

**Fighting Types**: Fighting types such as Mega Lopunny, Sawk and Mega Heracross can OHKO Blissey with their strong physical STAB moves.
Even some special attackers can win, as Pokemon like Tapu Lele and Magnezone have tools that can break through Blissey, with Taunt+Calm Mind/Psyshock and Metal Sound respectively.
**Ghost Types**: Mimikyu and Mega Gengar will be able to beat Blissey whose only attack is Seismic Toss, albeit slowly. However, if Blissey is running a different attacking move like Psywave, Flamethrower or Ice Beam, it can have a better matchup vs Swords Dance Mimikyu and Gengar.
**Taunt Users**: Taunt only lets Blissey use Seismic Toss and Z-Charm, so even special attackers like Tapu Lele or Tapu Fini can overpower Blissey once it can't use Confide or Soft-Boiled.
Include Mega Metagross, Hyper Cutter Mega Mawile and Mega Pinsir, which you mentioned can avoid Z-Charm by not mega evolving and not getting an attack Drop with Clear Body and Hyper Cutter, while either attacking or boosting their attack

Good analysis, just be sure to include more examples wherever necessary and optimize the moveset a bit by removing serene grace w/o flamethrower/ice beam and either clarify the purpose protect/toxic serves or move them to OO. However, in 1v1, Chansey can't have Charm and Seismic Toss or Charm and Psywave on the same set, while Blissey can use both together. Because of this, Blissey's niche is its ability to use Charm and Seismic Toss, making it a more reliable Charm wall than Chansey, and with Fairium Z,(AC) Blissey is also protected prevents Blissey from being crippled by Trick or Switcheroo. This differentiates Blissey from Chansey. However, Blissey still almost always loses to these Fighting-types like Mega Lopunny and Sawk.

Moves
========

Blissey appreciates this consistent form of damage, as its Special Attack is offensive stats are low. Soft-Boiled is mandatory for reliable recovery, it helps keep it Blissey healthy and allows it to stall opponents out successfully. Confide is a good option on Blissey, as it allows it Blissey to neutralize Calm Mind users like Magearna,(AC) making Blissey an even better which Blissey really wants to beat as a special wall. Counter is a bit niche, but is helpful for strong Z-Move users like Dragonite.

Set Details
========

Farium-Z Fairium Z allows Blissey to boost its Defense when using Charm, allowing it to tank more physical hits. Natural Cure is pretty much a useless ability in 1v1 with the inability to switch, however if the opponent has the ability Trace or uses Skill Swap, it'd be ideal for that Pokemon to have Natural Cure than Serene Grace. This The EV spread and Bold nature maximizes Blissey's physical bulk, as its special bulk is already enough to take hits well. The Bold nature helps its low Defense.

Usage Tips
========

Against physical attackers(RC) like Mega Gyarados(RC) which are the most common Pokemon in 1v1, Blissey should start the match off by using Z-Charm. However, if the attacker is extremely strong and will bring Blissey to 25% or lower, Blissey should use Counter if it has it, as Z-Charm isn't enough vs against Pokemon like Dragonite. If you play a facing Charizard, Charm first, as you can't risk it being Mega Charizard X and Blissey wins against . You win vs Mega Charizard Y anyways. However, Substitute and Belly Drum Mega Charizard Y are problematic sets and will still overpower Blissey. If you have Counter and are facing Mega Metagross, you should always Counter first, as if you use Z-Charm, a smartly played Mega Metagross can stay regular Metagross will wait before Mega Evolving to use Clear Body to prevent its Attack from being lowered by Z-Charm. and not get its attack lowered by Z-Charm using its Clear Body. Send out Blissey if you're predicting either a special attacker or a physical attacker Z-Charm would beat, like Magearna or Mega Tyranitar. It's also wise to keep your Blissey at high health as much as possible to prevent it from losing to critical hits.

Team Options
========

Blissey likes having Steel-type partners like Mega Metagross or Magearna, as Tapu Lele is a particularly obnoxious special attacker that's easily stopped by Steel Types Steel-types, while Pokemon like Dragonite can overpower Blissey but lose to Steel-types. Because of this, Mega Mawile is a good partner, and also helps Blissey out by being able to beat more physical attackers with Intimidate. Blissey also likes being with generally bulky physical walls, as they often struggle with special attackers, which Blissey usually doesn't have problems against. Examples of these physical walls would be Mega Slowbro and Kee Berry Mew, which both beat Fighting Types Fighting-types well.

Other Options
=============

Toxic is helpful in theory, but with Seismic Toss it can end games quickly, as though Seismic Toss ends games more quickly, Toxic beats however it helps vs Pokemon with recovery like Roost Mega Altaria. Psywave helps get possibly higher damage while hitting Ghost Types Ghost-types like Mega Gengar. Flamethrower is good for beating beats Aegislash, and Blissey should be used with Serene Grace when using it for an increased burn chance. Blissey can also use Ice Beam to have a better chance against Pokemon x4 times weak to it Ice, but more importantly has a as well as take advantage of its 20% chance to freeze with Serene Grace. Ice Punch, while not the most appealing option because of it's a physical move, can be used because it has more PP, meaning more chances opportunities to freeze it, and solidifies the matchup vs against other stall Pokemon. Rest can be used to PP stall stall Pokemon like Chansey, opposing Blissey,(AC) and Zygarde-C. Sing, while inaccurate, induces sleep,(AC) which can be very helpful if it hits vs Pokemon that use Substitute like Mega Charizard X and Landorus-Therian.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Fighting Types Fighting-types**:Fighting types Fighting-types such as Mega Lopunny, Sawk,(AC) and Mega Heracross can OHKO Blissey with their strong physical STAB moves.
(There should be a line space between each paragraph.)
**Substitute users**: The Attack-(add hyphen)lowering part of Z-Charm doesn't go through Substitute, meaning after using Substiute Substitute, some Pokemon like Landorus-Therian or and Mega Charizard X get free turns to boost their Attack stat.

**Strong Z-Moves users**: Assuming Blissey doesn't run Protect, moves like Dragonite's Devastating Drake can either OHKO Blissey or do enough damage to get Blissey to a point where it still can cannot win. Even some special attackers can win have the ability to beat Blissey, as Pokemon like Tapu Lele and Magnezone have tools that can break through Blissey, with Taunt and Metal Sound,(AC) respectively. (why are these mentioned here? If they use their Z-Moves to beat Blissey, clarify that they are "Z-Move special attackers". Otherwise, put them somewhere else (like under **Status Moves** with Taunt & Toxic or something)

**Ghost Types Ghost-types**: Mimikyu and Mega Gengar will be able to beat Blissey whose if its only attack is Seismic Toss, albeit slowly. However, if Blissey is running an attacking move like Flamethrower or Ice Beam, it can have a better matchup vs against Swords Dance Mimikyu and Gengar.
