[OVERVIEW]

* Blissey is UU's premier special wall thanks to its tremendous base HP and impressive base Special Defense.
* Blissey has access to various support moves such as Heal Bell and Wish, allowing it to better support its team on top of tanking special attacks.
* Access to Natural Cure as well as only having one weakness make Blissey difficult to wear down.
* Despite access to Seismic Toss and Toxic, Blissey is still quite passive.
* Blissey is also vulnerable to Taunt, as Seismic Toss is its only move that isn't affected by it.
* Blissey struggles against the plethora of relevant Fighting-types in the tier.
* Steel-types tend to take advantage of Blissey as well due to their immunity to Toxic and means of setting up.
* Blissey fits perfectly on stall teams but tends not to be as easy of a fit on any other team archetype.

[SET]
name: Special Wall
move 1: Soft-Boiled
move 2: Seismic Toss
move 3: Toxic
move 4: Stealth Rock / Heal Bell
item: Leftovers
ability: Natural Cure
nature: Bold
evs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

* Soft-Boiled helps Blissey keep itself healthy.
* Seismic Toss is Blissey's primary way of dealing damage to the foe.
* Toxic is used to further wear down the foe slowly.
* Stealth Rock can be used in case it can't be fit on another member of the team, while Heal Bell allows Blissey to cure her teammates of status ailments.
* Thunder Wave can be used over Toxic to possibly cripple Steel-types and other fast Pokemon. However, the loss of passive damage with Toxic could be of huge cost. Ground-types such as Hippowdon and Flygon would be able to take advantage of this as well.

Set Details
========

* Due to naturally outstanding special bulk, Blissey can invest all of its EVs and its nature towards its physical bulk.
* Leftovers gives Blissey passive recovery to further help keep itself healthy.
* Natural Cure allows Blissey to cure itself of status ailments upon switching out.
* A Calm nature can be used to more easily take on certain special attackers such as Nasty Plot Celebi. Though this comes at the cost of a good amount of physical bulk, making Blissey much more vulnerable to physical attackers such as Mega Aerodactyl and Psyshock users such as Latias.

Usage Tips
========

* Avoid taking unnecessary physical attacks. If a teammate is able to take an attack more easily, you are most likely better off preserving Blissey's health.
* Watch out for mixed attackers such as Volcanion and Nidoking that have the potential to hit hard from the physical side.
* Keep Blissey at a healthy amount of HP with Soft-Boiled. The amount depends on the team you are battling.
* Switch out of setup sweepers that you can't beat with Toxic such as Togekiss.
* If only Blissey is statused, switch out to cure it with Natural Cure. Save Heal Bell for teammates, as otherwise the move can run out of PP quickly.

Team Options
========

* Pokemon that resist Fighting, such as Gliscor and Amoonguss, can protect Blissey from taking super effective hits. Mantine also makes for a great partner for Blissey, as Mantine can take care of threats such as Lucario, Cobalion, and Nasty Plot Infernape.
* Other physical walls, such as Alomomola, make for good teammates for Blissey as well because they tend to tank the strong physical hits that Blissey cannot.
* Unaware users such as Clefable and Quagsire make for good teammates for Blissey, as they are able to keep common setup sweepers from getting out of control.
* Entry hazard removers such as Mew, Mantine and Scizor are able to ease the pressure from all the switching that teams containing Blissey are likely to do.
* Pokemon such as Mega Aerodactyl and Unaware Clefable, which can handle special threats that may overwhelm Blissey (Nasty Plot Togekiss, Calm Mind Chandelure, etc.), also make for good partners.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

* Blissey can opt for a Wish + Protect or Wish + Softboiled set, but both of these options take up an additional moveslot that can be crucial.
* Counter makes for a decent alternative to put more pressure on physical attackers and potentially net a surprise KO.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Fighting-types**: UU has many viable Fighting-types that can immediately threaten Blissey such as Cobalion, Keldeo, Infernape, Toxicroak, Lucario, and more.

**Steel-types**: Some of UU's premier Steel-types, such as Bisharp and Scizor, can not only immediately threaten Blissey, but can also use her as setup fodder due to their immunity to Toxic.

**Strong Physical Attackers**: Many physical attackers can muscle past or at least threaten Blissey even without super effective coverage or setup. Mega Sharpedo and Hone Claws Mega Aerodactyl are a couple of examples.

**Psyshock / Secret Sword**: Certain special attackers are able to target Blissey's Physical Defense rather than her Special Defense. Alakazam, Latias, Keldeo, Slowbro, and Starmie are all examples of Pokemon that do this with either Psyshock or Secret Sword.

**Taunt**: Pokemon that utilize Taunt, such as Gliscor and Mew, are able to wear down Blissey by stopping it from healing itself.

**Pursuit**: Certain physical attackers that may force Blissey to switch out also threaten her with Pursuit. Krookodile, Mega Aerodactyl and Scizor are all examples of Pokemon who can do this.

**Pokemon That Bypass Status**: Certain setup sweepers can take advantage of Blissey because they don't mind status. Clefable and Reuniclus can set up with Calm Mind through the use of Magic Guard, and Togekiss can set up with Nasty Plot if it carries Heal Bell as well. Some setup sweepers such as Haxorus like to carry a Lum Berry in order to do this.

For the moves, I think put Toxic alone in the third slot and Heal Bell / Stealth Rock in the last slot. Both the last moves can be fit easily enough elsewhere on stall teams, but Toxic is really appreciated to beat stuff like NP celebi and pressure Aero, Krook, and other physical switchins.

Give examples of the most common mixed attackers that Blissey has to watch out for - Volcanion and Nidoking come to mind for me.

In Team Options, add Pokemon that beat special attackers like NP Togekiss and CM Chandelure that can beat Blissey - Aerodactyl is a good one, and Unaware Clefable deserves another mention here. Mantine probably deserved a special mention too because it beats Fighting types that Blissey and it's teammates commonly struggle with - mix infernape, Cobalion, and NP lucario.

QC 1/3 after that.

e: oh yeah remove the Victini mention too lol

I think Stealth Rock should probably be slashed before Heal Bell. I see Heal Bell Clefable run alongside Blissey a lot, and I think Blissey can oftentimes get rocks up more easily. Also, add a bullet point for Stealth Rock in the Moves section.

In Set Details, I'd like to see it mentioned that a Calm Nature can be run. This does come at the cost of a lot of physical bulk, but allows Blissey to take on special attackers much better.

In Usage Tips, rather than saying you should switch out of setup sweepers that you cannot hit with Toxic, I'd say to switch out of setup sweepers you cannot beat with Toxic. Togekiss, for example, is susceptible to Toxic but still wins, and you usually do not want to let it set up unless your aim is to waste some of its pp. Also, you forgot a few periods after a few bullet points.

In Team Options, you probably need to reword that part about Pokemon that can handle special threats, as it sounds as though NP Togekiss and NP Chandelure make for good partners right now. Also, shouldn't the Mantine part at the end be merged with the first point about Fighting-resists?

Give a mention to Counter in Other Options.

In the Strong Physical Attackers part of Checks and Counters, change the second example to Hone Claws Mega Aerodactyl. If Mega Aerodactyl is not Hone Claws, it can lose pretty easily as its Stone Edge is not a 2HKO.

Looks great, QC 2/3 once you have implemented these changes.

this looks good, id just add hippo alongside flygon to the twave bit as well, thats more important because without tox blissey is p much useless vs it. also add reuniclus into the last bullet point

qc 3/3

[OVERVIEW]

* Blissey's tremendous base HP accompanied by impressive base Special Defense makes her UU's premier special wall. (Comment: consider "Blissey is UU's premier special wall thanks to her tremendous base HP and impressive base Special Defense." The difference is this sentence is about Blissey (logical for the first sentence), rather than its base HP. )
* Blissey has access to various support moves such as Heal Bell and Wish, allowing her to better support her team on top of tanking special attacks.
* Access to Natural Cure as well as only having one type-weakness weakness make Blissey difficult to wear down.
* Despite access to Seismic Toss and Toxic, Blissey is still quite passive.

* Only use Heal Bell when necessary, as it can otherwise run out of PP quickly. (Comment: necessary as in when teammates are statused? Maybe worth consolidating last two points into something like "If only Blissey is statused, switch out to cure it with Natural Cure. Save Heal Bell for teammates, as otherwise the move can run out of PP quickly." )
