A high Speed stat coupled with Strong Jaw-boosted coverage allows Boltund to act as a cleaner that is also capable of breaking defensive cores featuring Pokemon such as Ferrothorn and Galarian Corsola; however, it is quite an unreliable option due to Boltund's lack of super effective coverage for common Ground-types such as Hippowdon and Seismitoad. Thunder Fang is the preferred Electric-type STAB move for Boltund, hitting harder than Wild Charge thanks to Strong Jaw without incurring any recoil damage, and allows Boltund to break through Pokemon such as Toxapex and Corviknight. Fire Fang allows Boltund to OHKO specially defensive Ferrothorn and has a reasonable chance to OHKO Excadrill after Stealth Rock damage. Crunch allows Boltund to revenge kill Gengar and has a chance to 2HKO Galarian Corsola after Stealth Rock damage. Play Rough allows Boltund to revenge kill Hydreigon and 2HKO Grimmsnarl and Tyranitar while also OHKOing Kommo-o, which would otherwise use Boltund as setup fodder. Psychic Fangs is an option instead of Play Rough that hits Conkeldurr harder due to Strong Jaw while still potentially OHKOing Kommo-o after Stealth Rock damage, with the added benefit of removing dual screens. A Jolly nature is preferred in order to outspeed Gengar and Dugtrio and OHKO them with Crunch, the latter of which would otherwise trap Boltund.

Due to Boltund relying mainly on super effective coverage to deal decent damage, it is incapable of breaking through bulky Ground-type Pokemon such as Hippowdon and Seismitoad; therefore, strong wallbreakers that can help break these Pokemon such as Dragapult, Galarian Darmanitan, and Hydreigon are greatly appreciated. The former two, as well as other pivots such as Rotom-W, can help alleviate Boltund's mediocre bulk and defensive typing by bringing it in for free on Pokemon such as Ferrothorn and Toxapex via Volt Switch or U-turn, while Rotom-W can also help to check Sand Rush Excadrill, which can force out Boltund. Despite its Electric typing, Boltund is incapable of dealing with faster offensive Water-types such as Barraskewda and +1 Speed Gyarados; therefore, Pokemon such as Seismitoad and Ditto can help to patch up these issues.

Nice job on this.

Don’t say it’s outclassed by Dracovish as a Strong Jaw user. Just because they share an ability does not mean they share a role. Instead, just focus on the prevalence of Ground-types in the metagame and how that causes Boltund to struggle to be a reliable option

Remove Psychic Fangs as a slash, but you can keep its description in moves. Giving up Play Rough is really hard right now with the popularity of Hydreigon.

Don’t say to a lesser extent when referring to seismitoad - Seis shuts down Boltund hard even with Crunch and is a very popular option you’ll run into in this meta as long as Dracovish is around. Remove Indeedee as a mention and replace it with Hydreigon.

Something I would reword or remove is “Strong Jaw is Boltund’s preferred ability”, it’s actually its only ability since Competitive is unreleased.
