Do you wish that more branch evolutions existed for a wider variety of Pokémon to use competitively? Or do you wish that more branched evolutions existed in general? If you have one of both of those wishes, then Branched Potential is definitely for you! In this Pet Mod, we will create a branched evolution for every Pokémon in the National Dex.

Concept
This mod is about creating branched evolutions and balancing a meta with them added to the national dex.

Rules & Explanation
Remember, every Non-Legendary Pokémon can have a branched evolution. There may be some special slates where weak legendaries get new evolutions, though.
  • Types :eevee:
    • The new branched evolution can have the original's evolution primary or secondary typing.
    • You are also allowed to remove the original Pokémon’s secondary typing.
    • Also, this is just a note, but keep some flavor in mind when giving a new type.
  • Abilities :slowpoke: :slowpoke-galar:
    • There's not many restrictions on abilities, just keep flavor in mind and try to avoid giving pokemon too many tools.
  • Stats :ralts:
    • The new branched evolution’s BST must equal the original evolution’s BST.
    • When you make the branched evolution’s stats, do whatever you’d like! (Add and Subtract stats from OG evolution, etc.)
    • If you wish to make a new branched evolution for a one staged or two staged Pokémon, they get a boost in their BST, depending on their existing BST.
    • We have a list of BST boosts from v1 that we'll keep but these are only a guideline, we will allow most things that make sense for the line and are balanced.
      500 to 600 BST - 0+
      499 to 480 BST - 45+
      479 to 465 BST - 60+
      464 to 455 BST - 70+
      454 to 440 BST - 95+
      439 to 400 BST - 105+
      399 to 300 BST - 145+
      299 to 250 BST - 230+
If you are making pre-evolutions, reverse the stats boosts with each number (I.E. 299 to 250 gets 0 and 500 to 600 gets 250) and change the + into -.
    • If you make a Mega for the new branched evolution, just remember to add the +100 stat boost and follow the rules stated in the mod Megas For All
  • Moves :clamperl:
    • If you want to have new moves, you must subtract some from the existing evolution. You should +/- up to 20 moves roughly, but as long as you stay within the reigns of sanity you're good.
  • Miscellaneous:snorunt:
    • If the original evolution has a Mega Evolution, the new branched evolution gets one as well. This rule goes for Z-Moves as well.
    • Custom abilities will be accepted on a case to case basis, depending on flavor, how cool the mechanic is, and how easy it is to code
You can submit for as many categories as exist in the slate.

Base Pokemon = The Pokemon on the slate you are submitting for. Example: Vileplume
Counterpart = The submitted Pokemon on the same evolution tier as the base Pokemon.
Example: Bellosom Prevo = The pre-evolution(s) of the base Pokemon. Example: Oddish and Gloom Evolution = The evolution of the base Pokemon.
No example should be needed; we all know what an evolution is
Option 1: - Can be applied to any Pokemon, regardless of the amount of evolutions they have. - In single stage lines you'll have to create a prevo alongside a counterpart. BST must be subtracted from the prevo in accordance to the BST subtraction rules, and the counterpart's BST must remain the same as the base Pokemon's - In two staged lines you'll creating a counterpart. The counterpart's BST must remain the same as the base Pokemon's; you may only shuffle its stats around. For more information refer to the Stats section above. You may not create a prevo - In three staged lines all of the two staged line's rules apply
Option 2: - Can only be applied to single and two staged lines - Single stage lines do not require a prevo, though one may be created for flavour reasons. All prevo stat and movepool rules apply - Two staged lines require two evolutions be made. BST must be added accordance to the BST addition rules
Option 3: - Can be applied to single and two staged lines it is a collaboration - Where the base Pokemon is depends on the amount of stages in the line; - Single staged lines will be on the prevo tier - Two staged lines will be on the base/counterpart tier - Can only be used for collaborations between users, due to the amount of Pokemon required to be made - It's highly recommended that only one of the collaborators post the join submission, in order to make the sub compilation process less complicated - In very specific fringe cases, this option may be used to allow for two tiebreakers to win. Currently the only case of this happening is with Dhelmise/Annhailord/Sunkennon, but there may be more in the future - All the usual rules of BST and movepool additions apply here

If you have any comments or questions please address them on the discord or on my smogon profile, nobody wants the thread cluttered by oneliners

Inspired by the NDOU Role Compendium.

View attachment 368692
Amazing banner by Albatross!

The purpose of the Branched Potential Role Compendium is to provide a visual list organized by roles to show what each new Branched Evolutions does competitively. This will help new and experienced BP players find Pokémon that fit their teams when looking for specific roles. BP is a National Dex based meta game, so feel free to also check out the NDOU Role Compendium. If you feel that there is a new Branched Evolution that is viable for one of the roles mentioned below and it hasn't been added to the group, then please recommend it in our Discord! This was a huge collaborative effort!

Contributors: Albatross, analysis geek, Clasmia, Double Iron Bash, JosJet, memebitatxt., Moretto, MrFish777, Regic Boat

The order of roles will be organized in the following way:
  1. Utility (Entry Hazards, Hazard Control, Hazard Control Deterrent, Trapping, and Other)
  2. Offensive roles (Wallbreakers, Choice Item Users, Setup Sweepers, Stallbreakers, and Priority)
  3. Defensive roles (Walls, Clerics)
  4. Pivoting (U-turn, Volt Switch, Flip Turn)
  5. Field Effects (Rain, Sand, Sun, Hail, Trick Room, and Terrain)
Note that Pokémon listed to the right of a | are considered niche options in that given role.

Guess I'll get the ball rolling with some WIP subs I've had prepared for a while (:

:bw/lopunny:
Name: Jorunny
Typing: Normal/Water
Abilities: Immunity/Cute Charm/Oblivious
Stats: 105/76/84/54/96/65 (480 BST)

New Moves: Liquidate, Flip Turn, Scald, Poison Jab, Gunk Shot, Venom Drench, Purify
Removed Moves: Healing Wish, Heal Bell, Fake Out, Quick Attack, Close Combat, High Jump Kick

Flavour/Design: Upon evolving, Buneary gains a multitude of papillae all over its body, giving it the appearance of being covered in fur. However, this papillae is used for sensory functions, so petting it is not recommended. Jorunny is well known for eating toxic substances in order to absorb the toxins, which it then uses as its only defence mechanism against predators. It's a common sight in reefs and shallow waters, often crawling onto shore in search of food
Competitive Description: This may have limited defensive utility as a slow pivot, but is otherwise useless

:ss/lopunny-mega:
Name: Mega Jorunny
Typing: Water/Poison
Abilities: Iron Barbs
Stats: 105/146/104/64/106/55 (580 BST)

Flavour/Design: Upon Mega Evolving, Jorunny gains a new form of self defence; Big Meaty Claws on its ears (or rhinophores if you're a nerd) and spikes full of toxins. Its toxins come from a large variety of sources, from Tentacool's tentacles to Toxapex's spikes, making it incredibly hard to treat Mega Jorunny stings. It's considered a danger to public safety
Competitive Description: An excellent defensive typing alongside great bulk and high Attack allows Mega Jorunny to act as an effective tank and slow pivot. Though the loss of recovery really hinders it, it makes up for this with its wallbreaking abilities. Offensively, Water/Poison coverage is only resisted by a handful of Pokemon, thereby allowing it to run other moves such as Encore, Toxic/TWave/Scald, or Flip Turn. Also for some reason there are absolutely 0 decent physical Poison-types? That's really strange to me but idk. Anyways physical Poison tank

:ss/delphox:
Name: Magnulpine
Typing: Fire/Electric
Abilities: Blaze/Magic Bounce
Stats: 95/75/82/74/74/124 (534 BST)

New Moves: Fire Lash, Spirit Break, Nuzzle, Volt Switch, Moonlight, Taunt
Removed Moves: Shadow Ball, all Psychic-type attacking moves, Foul Play

Flavour/Design: Magnulpine's stick is coated with a thin layer of magnesium. Every time it pulls it out of its tail, the friction causes a small but blinding flash of light. It uses these flashes of light to communicate with other Magnulpine over long distances, using a system scientists believe to be similar to Morse Code. It's said that Magnulpine inspired the invention of fireworks, and in the past was revered as the personification of a star
Competitive Description: Magnulpine is a fast utility mon, with an excellent ability in Magic Bounce and a wide supportive movepool with Fire Lash, Spirit Break, Wish, Trick, Nuzzle, Volt Switch, and Will-O-Wisp. It can take on a variety of supportive roles thanks to this, from an anti-Stealth Rocker with Magic Bounce + Taunt to a Stallbreaker with Fire Lash + Moonlight + Taunt

:bw/lucario:
Name: Liscyonid
Typing: Dark/Fighting
Abilities: Pickpocket/Emergency Exit/Intimidate
Stats: 90/80/110/60/115/70 (525 BST)

New Moves: Dragon Dance, Outrage, Dragon Claw, Parting Shot, Knock Off, Pursuit, Sucker Punch, U-turn
Removed Moves: All Steel-type attacking moves, Nasty Plot, Poison Jab, Extreme Speed

Flavour/Design: Liscyonid are typically found in cities or dumps and are notorious thieves, having evolved after being surrounded by negative auras for too long. They've become hypersensitive to positive auras after being exposed to negative ones for so long, being able to sense one from miles away, and will hunt down the source relentlessly. It's highly recommended that only experienced trainers attempt to train one, as they are exceedingly skittish

Competitive Description: A bulky offensive pivot that utilises Parting Shot and U-turn alongside Intimidate to weaken and chip down foes. It works well as a Knock Off absorber and general menace, and should generally be switched into a physical attacker that lacks super effective coverage

:ss/lucario-mega:
Name: Mega Liscyonid
Typing: Dragon/Fighting
Abilities: Justified
Stats: 90/130/85/125/85/110 (625 BST)

Flavour/Design: Mega Evolution has reintroduced positive auras to Liscyonid, revitalising its ability to control auras and its sense of justice. Mega Liscyonid have their own sense of justice, ruthlessly seeking out what it deems to be criminals and strikes them down without mercy. In the past they were used by police officers, but due to the skittish nature of its base form and Mega Liscyonid's habit of running off to enact justice in the middle of training, the practice has been discontinued

Competitive Description: Dragon Dance sweeper with good speed and utility options in U-turn/Parting Shot, Knock Off, Sucker Punch, and Pursuit. It lacks any way to hit Fairy-types, but it makes up for this with its ability to generate momentum with U-turn and late-game cleaning prowess. Thanks to base Liscyonid's ability to weaken foes with Intimidate, it can switch into a physical attacker, absorb its attack, then Mega Evolve and curb stomp it or predict a switch and U-turn/Parting Shot out into another teammate. Since its SpAtt is also pretty good it can stand to run a Calm Mind set too

I put way too much energy into this
:swsh/Lopunny:
Name: Fluffunny (Fluff(y) + (B)unny)
Typing: Normal/Electric
Weight: same as Lopunny
Abilities: Fluffy, Static, Fur Coat(HA)

Stats:
HP: 94
Atk: 62
Def: 81
Sp.atk: 84
Sp.def: 96
Speed: 63
480 total

New Moves: Body Press, Cotton Guard, Bulk Up, Volt Switch, Charge, Spark, Zing Zap, Cotton Spore, Nuzzle, Discharge, Slack Off, Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam, Spirit Break, Electroweb (+15)
Removed Moves: Acrobatics, Bounce, Agility, High Jump Kick, U-Turn (-5)
Flavor/Design:
Fluffunny has evolved to better survive in colder climates, growing a thicker layer of fur to shield it from the ice and snow, making it less agile. Its soft fur and generally docile disposition makes it popular with trainers. anyone who touches it risks a slight static shock due to how much of a buildup there is of it in its fur. due to amount of fur it has, however, it tends to overheat easily in warmer climates unless the fur is sheared regularly. said fur is often used in fur coats.
(evolves from Buneary at level 13 if it is hailing)

Competitive description: Lopunny but bulkier (and also electric). Fur Coat means it can Switch in on many physical attacks, and with only 2 weaknesses to Ground and Fighting, which can be covered by teammates, this can be very potent.
It can also serve as a slow pivot via Volt Switch, or just generally cripple with moves like Nuzzle and Discharge.
If you want to go full physical wall, Cotton Guard gives it a fast way of setting up defense. Combine this with Body Press for a hard hitting (albeit non-Stab) attack without investing in either attack stat. Or you could simply give it an Assault Vest for better defenses on both ends.
The downsides are that it’s not immune to Toxic, so that could cripple its ability to wall. Additionally, its low speed means it can’t take too many super effective attacks especially on the special side, so it can't just tank everything. if you run the Fluffy ability, make sure to watch out for fire attacks as well, as it's basically super-effective.

:swsh/Lopunny-Mega:
Mega Fluffunny
Typing: Fairy/Electric
Weight: same as Lopunny
Ability: Cotton Down

HP: 94
Atk: 62
Def: 103 (+22)
Sp.atk: 120 (+36)
Sp.def: 116 (+20)
Speed: 85 (+22)
580 total

Flavor/Design: Mega Evolution has caused the static in Fluffunny’s fur to grow drastically, causing it to fly off and float around, attaching to objects and Pokemon. the fur itself has also increased in volume, allowing it to shrug off attacks.

Competitive Design: Lopunny but Fairy. While it’s no longer as much of physical wall, Cotton Down provides decent speed control by lowering speed when hit, allowing it to potentially outspeed or cripple normally fast Pokemon for either it or someone else to take advantage of. While it now has a better defensive typing, Ground still remains a big weakness for it.

Name: You have seen it in the hide name
Typing:Normal/Fighting
Weight: Same as his counterpart
Abilities:Guts/Cute Charm/Scrappy(HA)
Stats:74/85/70/76/70/105 (BST 480)
New Moves: Boomburst, Hyper Voice, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Double-Edge, Moonblast (Lopunny has a great movepool, his counterpart dosen't need too many moves)
Flavour: Some Bunearys started improving their singing skills, letting their evolve into their new form that was better suited for their purpourses.
Competitive: Lopunny but it is now taking more a Swellow-like role with his stats, typing and movepool, with the fact this has better STAB combination.
:swsh/lopunny-mega:
Typing: Normal/Fairy
Stats: 74/110/90/90/90/126 (BST 580)
Ability: Punk Rock
Weight:Same as Lopunny-Mega
Flavour: The Boombunnys that also were in the Kalos war as the companion of some Kalosian princesss also were hitted by the Ultimate Weapon, in this case they suffered the increase of their singing capabilities and also the increase of their physical powers.
Competitive: It seems contradictve to run a special set here cuz it has more Attack than Special Attack, but this is a "balance" measure cuz their powerful Boombursts, where they hit like a truck.

Competitive:Cool NP sweeper.Analytic allows it to take advantage of its low Speed by hitting hard if it goes last.Analytic also allows it to pressure switchins, since Analytic activates on switches.

Removed Moves: Ember, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Sunny Day, Heat Wave, Fire Spin, Flame Charge, Overheat, Lucky Chant, Wish, Ally Switch, Dazzling Gleam, Fire Punch, Fire Pledge, Blast Burn, Incinerate, Mystical Fire, Rain Dance (18)
Competitive Description: Corruphox is a slow, bulkier special attacker compared to their fire-type counterpart. Nasty Plot + Draining Moves is quite necessary if Corruphox wishes for any longevity in battle.
Flavor: Braixen’s mastery of magical arts is what causes their evolution. Most Braixen hone their fire and mystical skills, leading them to evolve into Delphox. However, a handful of Braixen abandon these studies, in favor of Dark Magic. These Braixen evolve to become Corruphox.
There are many differences between Delphox and Corruphox. The most major is obviously typing. Corruphox have abandoned their fire magic in favor of Dark Magic. Instead of learning how to conjure Mystical Fire, they can hone their fire into a Fiery Wrath. Corruphox also specialize in magic draining the life force of their opponents, granting them higher hp than normal Delphoxes. To bolster their higher life force, Corruphox also hone their defenses, to better protect themselves from physical and special threats. Other changes in magic include how Corruphox has abandoned all forms of “white magic,” losing access to various supporting moves, the most prominent being wish.

Removed Moves: Work Up, Screech, Close Combat, Quick Guard, Revenge, Ice Punch, Thunder Punch, Drain Punch, Bulk Up, Poison Jab, Stone Edge, Bite, Crunch, Bullet Punch, Circle Throw, Cross Chop, High Jump Kick, Focus Punch, Sky Uppercut, Swagger, Vacuum Wave (21)
Competitive Description: Khakkaura’s base form is quite the parallel to Lucario, with the same HP and Speed, and reversing the situation of attack and defense. Offenses are lower and equivalent, while their Physical Defense is slightly stronger than the Special. Despite the increased investment in defenses, Khakkaura’s overall bulk is still not all to impressive. However, this can be offset by their excellent defensive typing: Ghost/Steel.
Khakkaura can both generally serve as a cleric or a set-up bulky sweeper.
Flavor: Lucario is said to be able to read and control auras, however this ability seems to be utilized rather aggressively. So, while Lucario hones it’s Aura to fight, Khakkaura is trained in the ways of utilizing its Aura defensively.
Wielding a Khakkhara staff, Khakkaura is very similar to a monk. It’s ability to heal others by mending their auras, establish mystical defenses to protect their own Aura, and with enough training, can even alter their own Aura at will. As Khakkaura’s aura isn’t directed towards simply bolstering their physical might, their Aura has an overall stronger presence, which can be felt all on the field. With enough training, they can even swap between a Dark, Malevolent Aura and a Light, Benevolent Aura at will. Due to Khakkaura’s powerful connection to their own Aura and spirit, they have the Ghost typing instead of Fighting.

Name: Mega Khakkaura
Mega Stone: Khakkaurite
Typing:

Ability: Aura Break
Stats: 80/85/140/125/145/50 [625 BST]
Competitive Description: Mega Khakkaura highlights Khakkaura’s roles as a Bulky Set-Up Sweeper and Clerical Utility. It drops speed in exchange for greater defenses and special attack. However, this shift is not without drawbacks. Aura Break is far less useful of an ability compared the Khakkaura’s access to Mold Breaker and offensive Auras.
Flavor: Khakkaura’s mega form is overflowing with its Aura-based powers. Entering a Zen-like state, Khakkaura channels it’s excess aura into its staff, allowing it to not only alter their own aura, but control the auras of their enemies. Khakkaura’s aura is so potent that it even serves to boost Khakkaura’s resistance to all forms of attacks. It’s defenses are also a Parallel to Mega Lucario’s own offenses. Khakkaura’s mega form’s movements are slower and methodical, translating into lower speed as well.

Flavour: After being exposed to the harsh cold weather, Riolu has evolved to deal with these conditions. In areas where the climate is colder, Glaciario have thicker fur and are much slower, whereas in slightly warmer climates Glaciario train on the ice in order to improve their hunting speed.

Competitive Description: Hail Abuser that can either set up with Leftovers or Life Orb, or use a Choice Band in order to have a more instantaneous damage output, at the result of being much more reliant on support. Competitive Description: A bulky Ice-Type wallbreaker meant to take advantage of the wide array of Water-Type Pokémon in the metagame, which can still hold its own defensively thanks to its good natural bulk and valuable setup in Bulk Up. However, it still falls to regular Ice-Type checks and counters, and so is much better in the later stages of the battle.

Description: The great Anubis Lucario that totally not stolen from Insurgence. I have a conspiracy, that "aura" is actually parts of the soul. Anubis is the god of death and mummify(idk how to say this). Therefor, Lucario is actually the Anubis of pokemon.
Competitive Aspect: I dunno man, i felt like Lucario has great potential being a great mon. I just feel like it has fallen from grace. It has access to a lot of good moves, learning all "the big 4" stat boosting moves, including calm mind, bulk up, nasty plot and sword dance. Its abilities are kinda meh, at least to me. So, i mixed lucario's stat a bit, and it's now a relatively reliable wall, while having a lot of ways to boost its offensive stat, while being able it heal it up. Ghost and Fighting is a nice offensive typing, hit everything at least neutrally, while being a bit medicre defensive typing, that balance this thing by a lot.

Abilities: Blaze (Magic Guard)
Stats: 83/120/90/70/70/101
New Moves: Wood Hammer, Wild Charge, Synthesis, Flare Blitz
Removed Moves: All Psychic Moves

Flavor/Design: Forixen is quadruple and has wood armor covering its body, much like cap pyroak. Obviously, I was inspired by Braixen's branch for this Pokemon. Other than that, nothing else to say here.

Competitive Description: With Magic Guard, it doesn't need to run boots and is free to run life orb. Magic guard also prevents recoil from Flare Blitz and Wood Hammer, 2 very strong stab attacks. It has power up punch to damage heatran, and has a way to boost its attack without being worried of Taunt. Wild charge, while working with magic guard, is really only used for Zard Y and Moltres, so it probably won't see much use. As for status, it has Synthesis for recovery and Will o Wisp for crippling physical attackers

Might edit in a Lopunny sub later

Flavor/Design
: While some riolu's choose to harness their energy purely, others choose to harness it negativley, allowing them evolve into rebolu. I really don't know about design just soething badass with claws but looks like it could still push out some powerful aura.
Competitive Description
: Unresisted coverage further boosted by tough claws makes this mon a hell of a job to switch into but is held back by low bulk and only decent speed (which can be helped with espeed but still not the best). Rebolu can also switch his tempo and run a nasty nasty plot set to blow thru their usual physical checks.

Abilities

Stats
: 70/135/95/135/80/110

Flavor/Design
: When they mega evolve, their aura constanly activated so it is visible and it surrounds their body like a transparent coat. They become buffer, their eyes become red, the blue and black invert and where the blue is is now purple, and the fur on its stomach is black. (add these changes to your imaginary bad ass rebolu and that's how it looks)

Competitive Description
: I was gonna give this dark aura but hell no that'll be broken asf so I gave it aura guard which is very useful to stomach some extra hits while it either sets up or just attacks with the added bulk. Good bulk and offenses let it be a very strong threat through out a game always threatening to win with either SD or NP set.

Base Stats: 75 HP / 124 Atk / 72 Def / 69 SpA / 70 SpD / 124 Spe [BST: 534] (Swap Atk/SpA | -30 SpD | +20 Spe, +10 Atk)

New/Removed Moves: ( +6 / -3 )
Knock Off, Flare Blitz, U-turn, Crunch / - Thunder Punch
...
Swords Dance, Taunt / - Wish
Intended Role: Physical Wall Breaker / Setup Sweeper
Exsunei would be a great physical wallbreaker. It's designed to take advantage of Tough Claws boosted Knock Off and Flare Blitz. Its attack stat, ability, and access to Swords Dance helps it hit really hard. The downside to this is its lack of longevity. Due to its lack of Physical Coverage and fast speed tier, it could also be suited as an offensive pivot through U-turn. What helps it not become too overwhelming in this meta is the fact that we've already introduced two new Pokémon that resist its Dual STAB (Blastonoise and Lapidour). They also happen to both have Mega evolutions, which means they wouldn't be overly worried about getting hit with Knock Off. (Mega Charodile-X is also a good answer to Exsunei) Along with this, I designed its stats to fit more of a glass cannon role. With its ability to hit hard, it could be a great late game cleaner.

Ability: Berserk
Height: 1.4 m | 4'07"
Weight: 58.0 kg | 127.9 lbs.
My goal with Panario and Mega Panario was to make them both function independently. With Panario, it has access to moves with stronger BP through Mega Launcher. Most notably, it has 127 BP STAB Dragon Pulse, 120 BP Dark Pulse, 90 BP Water Pulse, and 75/150 BP Terrain Pulse. Because of its ability, I made sure to remove many of its fighting moves so it'd have a harder time getting past Pokémon like Heatran and Blissey. Panario base form would probably be best suited running Choice Scarf/Specs or running sets with Calm Mind and Slack Off.

Mega Panario takes on the role of an offensive tank. With Berserk and its good defensive typing, it could definitely take some hits and get low enough to receive a Berserk boost. With its decent speed tier, and its new access to Slack Off, it could also make use of Substitute sets. Something that could also be interesting with Panario is using Steel Beam to get your own Berserk boost. It could run sets with Slack Off and Steel Beam, and generally has potential to be a good late game sweeper. Since it’s more defensive than base Panario, It has great potential to use Calm Mind to boost its longevity even further.

Abilities: Steadfast/Inner Focus, Aura Break
Stats: 70/70/110/70/115/90, 525

New Moves: None
Removed Moves: None

Design: This evolution cannot control its Aura the way Lucario can. As a result, it has gone feral. It looks a lot like Lucario, but with a much more shaggy, wild appearance. And ofc, you don't see wild wolves walking on two legs.
Competitive Description: This is kinda bad, although defensively its not the worst. 70/110/115 is a decent defensive spread, but it lacks some utility moves so it'll be rarely used without its Mega Stone.

Lupaster (Base) Form
Typing: Fighting/Steel
Height: 0.6 m
Weight: 57.5 kg
Ability: Stance Change
Stats: 70/88/145/70/140/112, 625

Design: Same differences from Mega Lucario as base from normal Lucario. It still cannot control its Aura.
Competitive Description: Finally, Mega Luke in OU, but with a little twist. This Pokemon will probably stay in this form while setting up, because its massive bulk allows it to easily. It may also run a set with 4 status moves, like SubToxic but that makes it very vulnerable to Taunt.

Sapiens Form
Typing: Fighting/Steel
Height: 1.3 m
Weight: 57.5 kg
Ability: Stance Change
Stats: 70/145/88/140/70/112, 625

Design: Looks identical to Lupaster form, just standing on two feet. It has finally gotten control of its Aura, which it can only do while attacking. Because of this it acts much more humanlike, akin to Lucario.
Competitive Description: While it lacks the raw power of Mega Luke, it can easily set up while in Lupaster form, then attack in Sapiens form. It'll probably run sets almost identical to current M-Luke. This doesn't have King's Shield because it makes no sense flavorwise, however, if it somehow uses it, like through Copycat, it will change back to Lupaster form.

This Pokémon can hit Dark-type Pokémon with Psychic-type moves. This Pokémon is also immune to Dark-type status moves. (Scrappy clone, with Intimidate block replaced by new effect)
Stats: 95/59/110/114/104/52, 534

New Moves: Branch Poke, Curse, Earth Power, Eerie Spell, Expanding Force, Heal Bell, Healing Wish, Hex, Miracle Eye, Moonblast, Morning Sun, Psychic Fangs, Teleport
Removed Moves: Covet, Cut, Facade, Giga Impact, Iron Tail, Low Kick, Power-Up Punch, Scratch

Design: A smaller version of Delphox, which has concentrated almost all of its power into its Psychic and Magical abilities. However, because of its reliance of its powers, it can barely move on its own. It cannot walk, lift items up, kick, or any other physical activity, using its Psychic powers to do these activities.
Competitive Description: Much slower but bulkier than Delphox, it works more of a support mon. It can launch nuclear Future Sights, which due to its ability, will always hit, regardless of what you switch in. It has other moves, like Wish, Teleport, and Heal Bell, and an immunity to Taunt that it can use to support its teammates. However, due to its fire typing, it is forced to run Heavy Duty Boots, denying it the chance to run other items that could benefit it more.

Alright, I'm almost done with my alternate Lucario. All that's left to do is come up with a name. Let me just check what Lucario and Riolu's names come from to stay in line with any pre-established conventions.

"Lucario may be derived from the reverse of the Japanese transliteration of orichalcum (a mythical metal)"
"Riolu is Lucario with the first and last syllables reversed and the ca omitted."

While Lucario uses its mastery over aura to enhance its offensive capabilities, Mulachiro specializes in predicting its opponents actions and blocking accordingly. It's so proficient at this that it usually knows what its opponent will do before they do!

With its double Stealth Rock resistance, good resistances, and great bulk (absolutely fantastic bulk when it mega evolves), Mulachiro can switch in and out of battle and get a read on what moves the opponent is running. It lacks a strong recovery move, but Life Dew and Pain Split are more than most mons of its bulk and typing have. Anticipation can sniff out the presence of common coverage types Fire, Ground, and Fighting, and it also tells you when the coast is clear to Mega Evolve and start scanning for more specific moves with Forewarn. The cool thing about Forewarn is that because it always reveals the highest base power move in the opponent's set, it can easily deduce the lack of high-power coverage moves. For example, if Forewarn shows Psychic or Sludge Wave when scanning an Alakazam or Gengar, you know for a fact that it isn't running Focus Blast.

Moves Removed: Baby Doll-Eyes, Mirror Coat, Magic Coat, Charm, Attract, Sweet Kiss, Heal Bell, Rototiller, Captivate, Close Combat, High Jump Kick

Competitive Description: Beitruff Base has a lot of pretty cool toys to work with, spikes, a unique typing, decent bulk and intimidate, in combination with Wishturn, but its probably not going to be good apart from in lower tiers. Beitruff-Mega on the other hand has quite a bit of things to work with, everything base form has + one of the best typings in the game, respectable bulk, and good offensive stats, combined with boosted Steel Stab moves such as bullet punch and iron head, and swords dance to pull off a sweep, additionally STAB Play Rough hits like a truck, it can pull off many sets, acting as a little bit of steel offensive glue on all sorts of teams.

Flavor Description: I'm surprised nobody has thought of this yet, but Buneary evolves into Beitruff when it knows frustration and is traded, Its fur becomes coarse and steely, and it is abandoned by its original trainer(if it wasn't already, because its at level 13 without max friendship). Megas are the ultimate sign of bonding with a Pokemon and its trainer, Beitruff is no different, its true beauty comes through when it mega evolves and it shows off its fairy self. And can fully embrace the love of its trainer.

Please adopt it :]

Name: Buneavil
Typing: Normal/Dark
Height: 3'07
Weight: 35.5kg
Abilities: Anger Point, Unnerve, HA: Intimidate
Stats: 65/100/74/70/70/101 BST: 480

Typing: Fighting/Dark
Height: 4'03
Weight: 44.4kg
Ability: Dark Aura
Stats: 65/140/74/91/70/140 BST: 580

New Moves: Spite, Sucker Punch, Throat Chop, Knock Off, Beat Up, Dark Pulse, Foul Play, Lash Out
Removed Moves: Healing Wish, Baby-Doll Eyes, Charm, Aura Sphere, Focus Blast, Heal Bell, Triple Axel, Sweet Kiss
Flavour/Design: Instead of evolving by high Happiness, this nasty little rabbit evolved with low Happiness - it hates its trainer. Its fur is a much darker shade of brown, tending towards black, and its eyes are red. Where Buneary rolled and unrolled its ears to broadcast its emotions, this Pokemon keeps them balled up on its head at all times, in a state of perpetual disdain. When Buneavil Mega-Evolves, it becomes bigger and more threatening, the fur around its hands (paws? idk man lol) coming to resemble boxing gloves. The base form is scary to other Pokemon, but the Mega positively exudes terrifying energy.

Competitive Description: Base form seems largely pretty useless, but I guess it could maybe have some use as an Intimidate pivot? The Mega, however, is a dangerous attacker and wallbreaker, with a strong ability to boost one of its STABs. It won't play too differently to normal Mega Lopunny, but it has even less bulk to its name, so it needs to beware revenge killers.
