NU Braviary

[OVERVIEW]
Braviary's Normal / Flying typing allows it to check Pokemon like Dhelmise and Decidueye and force them out with STAB Brave Bird. Its access to Bulk Up and Roost makes it a good stallbreaker and gives it excellent late-game sweeping potential. Unfortunately, Rock-types like Diancie, Tyrantrum, and Aerodactyl are common, and they all wall Braviary and force it out. Due to Braviary's mediocre Speed, faster threats like Heliolisk, Rotom-C, Jolly Sirfetch'd, and Timid Exploud can cause problems for it. It also competes with Drapion and Glastrier in the roles of Ghost-type check and stallbreaker, respectively.

Substitute enables Braviary to safely set up on Pokemon like Vaporeon, Arcanine, and Vileplume. The Speed EVs allow Braviary to outspeed Adamant Machamp and Jolly Golurk. The remaining EVs are invested in HP and Special Defense to make it less likely that Vaporeon's Scald will break its Substitute. Leftovers can be used over Heavy-Duty Boots to give Braviary extra recovery to compensate for Substitute; however, this requires consistent entry hazard removal.

Braviary loves the support of Ground-types like Mudsdale and Golurk, as they can take hits from Rock- and Electric-types like Heliolisk, Tyrantrum, and Aerodactyl. Steel-types like Copperajah and Escavalier are good switch-ins to moves Braviary is weak to, such as Ice Beam from Inteleon and Expanding Force from Indeedee-F. Braviary, in return, can switch into the Ground- and Ghost-type attacks that threaten these Pokemon, and it can even set up on Mudsdale and Decidueye. Clerics like Vaporeon, Sylveon, and Diancie are appreciated teammates, as Braviary is particularly weak to status. Xatu and Dhelmise are great partners if Braviary opts for Leftovers over Heavy-Duty Boots, as they provide good entry hazard removal. Xatu can also provide dual screens support for Braviary, allowing it to set up on Salazzle, Talonflame, Escavalier, and Dragalge.

An offensive set can be used with Close Combat over Substitute and maximum Speed to hit Rock- and Steel-types such as Tyrantrum and Copperajah. However, this makes it harder to set up on bulky Pokemon like Vaporeon and Bronzong that that can threaten Braviary with status. 136 Speed EVs with a Jolly nature allow Braviary to outspeed Pokemon like Jolly Sirfetch'd and Adamant Tyrantrum, but Braviary cannot set up on Pokemon like Vaporeon with this investment, as they can break its Substitute easily. Choice Scarf Braviary is a relatively slow revenge killer but can put in work with its strong Brave Bird and solid immunities.

Checks and Counters
====

**Rock-types**: Rock-types such as Diancie, Aerodactyl, and Tyrantrum can not only switch in to Braviary easily, but also set up on it with Diamond Storm and Dragon Dance, forcing it to switch out even after a Bulk Up boost. However, they fear the rare Close Combat and the even rarer Iron Head.

**Electric-types**: Electric-types such as Rotom-C, Heliolisk, and Alolan Raichu can easily outspeed Braviary and force it out with their STAB moves.

**Faster Wallbreakers**: Choice Band Sirfetch'd, Choice Specs Sylveon, and Choice Specs Exploud force Braviary out. Sylveon and Exploud deserve special mention for their ability to revenge kill Braviary through its Substitute.

[OVERVIEW]
Braviary's has a great Normal/Flying-typing,(RC) having gives it immunity to ghost-type Ghost-type attacks, which allows it to wall threats Pokemon (wouldn't consider Dhelmise and Decidueye as "threats", idk, just using the term Pokemon sounds more fitting) like Dhelmise,(RC) and Decidueye, and threaten them out with a strong stab STAB in Brave Bird. Having a strong stab in Brave Bird, which after a few bulk ups, paired up with its ability to roost Roost, makes it a good wallbreaker and gives it potential to sweep late game. (I don't think its needed for you to state that Brave Bird is STAB again in this line, its kinda clear. I'd probably talk about how Roost heals off the damage from Brave Bird because without it, its practically just KOing itself.) Substitute + Bulk Up allows it to setup on defensive Pokemon trying to status it, such as Vileplume and Arcanine. (mentioned this in moves already) It can also provide with support, using its defiant ability to prevent defog.(Support? I see support as like Defog, Wish, Heal Bell etc. Braviary supports itself, I'd rephrase this and talk mainly about how Defiant can utilitize or take advantage of Pokemon using Defog) Unfortunately for Braviary, bulky rock Rock Pokemon like Diancie, Tyrantrum, and Aerodactyl are common in the current metagame, who can wall and threaten it Braviary out like Diancie, Tyrantrum(AC) and Aerodactyl. Due to its speed stat being mediocre faster threats like Heliolisk and scarf Rotom-C (base Rotom-C outspeeds this set naturally)cause problems.

Defiant (Capitilize)
Defog (Capitilize)

Brave Bird is a powerful stab, but it comes with the drawback of recoil damage. Roost helps for longevity and with the heals off Brave Bird recoil damage. Substitute is good for setting up on Pokemon like Vaporeon, Arcanine, and Vileplume, that will attempt statusing Braviary. that will try to status you. Bulk up + Substitute allows you to setup easily, especially in front of Pokemon like Bronzong and Flygon. (since the current spread you are using isn't the 2nd spread with more speed on discord, I'd most def add Vaporeon in the defensive Pokemon examples here. It has like a 6% chance to break Substitute with Scald.)Heavy-Duty Boots allow you to switchin even if entry hazards are up. Defiant allows you to switch into Parting Shot and Defog. The Speed EVs allow Braviary to outspeed neutral-natured Adamant Machamp and Golurk. The remaining EVs have been put into HP and Special Defense.

Braviary loves the support of Ground-types like Mudsdale, Golurk(AC) and Flygon as they can take hits from Rock-Types and Electric-Types Rock- and Electric-types like (list examples of Rock and Electric Pokemon they deal with here), which are huge threats. They also deal super-effective damage to all the Brave Bird resists. (fluff)Steel-types like Copperajah, Brongzong(grammar)(AC) and Escavalier are good resists for Rock-types and Ice-types and can take hits from Electric-types as they have good of Special Defense Stats. Braviary in return is Immune to Ground-type(AH) attack, which Steel-types are weak to. Braviary appreciates entry hazard support a lot from Pokemon like Mudsdale and Copperajah, as these can allow to chip down Pokemon like Diancie, Scarfed Rotom-C and Heliolisk. And these entry hazards also are not easy to remove due to Braviary's Defiant ability.

- Not Sure if the Stealth Rock is really needed. A line about Clerics to heal off Status as teammates should be a line. Sirfetch'd is also faster than Braviary, so examples should be in teammates aswell to support Braviary with Fighting-types

An offensive set can be used with Close Combat can be used over Substitute, as it allows you to hit Rock-types an Steel-typesRock- and Steel-types, such as Tyrantrum and Copperajah, with more EVs in Attack and Speed. However(AC) this does not allow you to setup easily on Pokemon that try to status you or in front of bulky Pokemon like Vaporeon and Bronzong.

- Mention 136 Speed as an option and talk about the drawbacks (like not being able to Sub on Vaporeon) and what it outspeeds Sirfetch'd, etc etc

Add a section for Choice Band Sirfetch'd. It OHKOs it and outspeeds it

Braviary in return is immune to Ground- and Ghost-type attacks (no hyphen), which Steel-types are weak to allows it to setup versus Mudsdale and Decidueye (prior was fluff, put two examples of mons that would threaten the Steel-types). It appreciates clerics like Vaporeon, and Sylveon and Vileplume, (Vileplume is too niche as a cleric) as they help Braviary if it gets statused. Sirfetch'd can outspeed an OHKO Braviary, so Braviary likes Pokemon like Weezing and Sylveon. (Too niche / over complicated; I explain more below.) (Instead, end with Xatu and Dhelmise as support against entry hazards if Braviary opts for Leftovers, and Xatu may also provide dual screens)

I'll give this a double check after you implement it before I stamp this. Good work though! Just watch for some of the GP standards I fixed in this check and make sure to avoid simple type-based points like stating that Steel is week to Ground. We can already assume the readers will know the basics of Pokemon interactions, and instead we can get into more specifics to the NU metagame like what Ground-types are there and if there's any limitations to these matchups. Tag me whenever you finish this and you should be good to go shortly after.

The remaining EVs have been put into HP and Special Defense to make it less likely for Vaporeon's Scald to break the Substitute. If its not paired with Heavy-Duty Boots, then Leftovers is good for giving Braviary recovery behind a Substitute, although Braviary requires solid Defog and Magic Bounce this would require support against hazards.

Braviary loves the support of Ground-types like Mudsdale, Golurk, and Flygon as they can take hits from Rock- and Electric-Types like Heliolisk, Tyrantrum, and Aerodactyl. Steel-types like Copperajah, Bronzong, and Escavalier are good switch-ins to moves Braviary is weak to. Braviary in return is immune to Ground- and Ghost-type attacks, which allow is to setup versus Mudsdale and Decidueye. It appreciates clerics like Vaporeon, Sylveon and Diancie as they help Braviary if it gets statused. Xatu and Dhelmise are great partners if Braviary opts for Leftovers as they provide good hazard control. Xatu can also provide with dual screens for Braviary to setup up on Bronzong, Salazzle, Talonflame, Escavalier, and Dragalge.

However, this does not allow you to setup easily on bulky Pokemon like Vaporeon and Bronzong that would also try to status you. or in front of bulky Pokemon like Vaporeon and Bronzong. 136 Speed with Jolly nature allows you to outspeed Pokemon like Jolly Sirfetch'd and Adamant Tyrantrum, but Braviary cannot setup on Pokemon like Vaporeon as they can break its substitute easily. Braviary's Normal / Flying typing allows it to wall check Pokemon like Dhelmise and Decidueye, and threaten them out with a strong its STAB in Brave Bird (you dont really wall Dhelmise since some sets run Anchor Shot and that does 60ish% forcing you to Roost and risk a 50/50). Having a strong move in Brave Bird, which The aforementioned move after a few bulk ups, paired up with and its ability to heal off the recoil damage by using with Roost, makes it a good stallbreaker and gives it potential to sweep late-game. Unfortunately, Rock-types like Diancie, Tyrantrum, and Aerodactyl are common in the current metagame, who can wall and threaten Braviary out. Xatu and Dhelmise are great partners if Braviary opts for Leftovers over Heavy-Duty Boots, as they provide good entry hazard removal. Xatu can also provide dual screens support for Braviary, (AC) to allow allowing it to set up on Salazzle, Talonflame, Escavalier, and Dragalge.

Other Options

An offensive set can be used with Close Combat over Substitute and maximum Speed to hit Rock- and Steel-types such as Tyrantrum and Copperajah. However, this does not allow Braviary to set up as easily makes it harder to set up on bulky Pokemon like Vaporeon and Bronzong that that can threaten it Braviary with status. 136 Speed EVs with a Jolly nature allows Braviary to outspeed Pokemon like Jolly Sirfetch'd and Adamant Tyrantrum, but Braviary cannot set up on Pokemon like Vaporeon with this investment, as they can break its Substitute easily. Choice Scarf Braviary is a relatively slower revenge killer but can put in work with its strong Brave Bird and solid immunities.

Checks and Counters
====

**Rock-types**: Rock-types such as Diancie, Aerodactyl, and Tyrantrum can not only switch in to Braviary easily, but also set up on it with Diamond Storm and Dragon Dance, forcing it to switch out even after a Bulk Up boost. However, they have to fear coverage moves like Close Combat and Iron Head. fear the rare Close Combat and the even rarer Iron Head. (I imagine this makes sense? you could also just remove iron head mention if youd like)

**Electric-types**: Electric-types such as Rotom-C, Heliolisk, and Alolan Raichu can easily outspeed Braviary and threaten force it out with their STAB moves.

**Faster Wallbreakers**: Choice Band Sirfetch'd, Choice Specs Sylveon, and Choice Specs Exploud force Braviary out. Sylveon and Exploud deserve special mention for their ability to revenge kill Braviary through its Substitute.
