Thanks to Neutralizing Gas and a Rock/Fairy typing, Jewelode hard counters Obstagoon and Tornadus, and said offensive typing is very hard for them to switch into even if this Pokemon's power isn't the most impressive. Their only resist to Fairy OR Rock is...Kartana. Yeah. You're able to outspeed a good portion of their team and 2HKO everything, and this gives Jewelode some especially potent flexibility as a potential wincon or breaker in this matchup.

Another Pokemon that abuses ability stopping, Draxplosion has Mold Breaker for Levitate and Thick Fat and sets up on Kartana. Neither of these two can switch in too well to Lele or Mamoswine but this is meant to be more of a hyper offense core that's capable of overwhelming the two of them thanks to high Speed and power. It may not be too difficult to set up thanks to how you beat Kartana and don't really do too badly against Rotom either.

Plachineal @ Leftovers
Ability: Bulletproof
EVs: 248 HP / 156 Def / 104 SpD
Bold Nature
- Knock Off
- Body Press

Diamarine @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Power Gem
- Focus Blast
- Wish
- Parting Shot / Protect

Plachineal soaks up hits from the majority of the hits from the team, tanking any physical hits and some special hits. Knock Off gets rid of Life Orbs and Choice Specs, reducing damage from Mamoswine and Tapu Lele. Body Press helps stop Obstagoon and Kartana from sweeping. Diamarine helps deal with Rotom-Wash and Tornadus-Therian, which heavily pressure Plachineal, by virtue of its type and ability. Wish supports Plachineal, and Parting Shot also helps Plachineal tank hits better. Protect can be used if it seems more important for Diamarine to recover.

Rampyre @ Air Balloon
Ability: Rock Head
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature

Rampyre has an incredible matchup here, but it needs some support to get going. Lead with Olmiath.
Click Aura Sphere to OHKO any time either mon comes in, you don’t want Goon getting off a Bulk Up or Mamo getting up Rocks.
If they lead with this or switch in before you have Rocks up, use Stealth Rock first. If they Defog after you set Rocks, just keep setting it again and again until they click a different move, which they inevitably will once they run out of Defog PP. Always Memento once you have Rocks on the field, that way Defog/U-Turn fails.
If they lead with either or switch in to one of them before you have Rocks up, use Stealth Rock first. Always Memento if you have Rocks up.
Click Rocks if you don’t have them up, and then Memento. Smart Strike is a 2HKO but if you die to Smart Strike, they’re locked in and still work as setup fodder.
Unless you fuck up horribly, when Olmiath goes down, you will always have Stealth Rocks up on the opponents’ side of the field and no hazards on your own side. The opposing Pokemon will always have -2 Atk and SpA, unless it is a +1 Smart Strike-locked Kartana. From here, go into Rampyre and always click Swords Dance. The most damage you can take while setting up is 48.1% from -2 Lele Psychic. After this:
OHKO with +2 Flare Blitz. On the off chance that you took over 45% from Lele Psychic or Goon Facade while setting up Swords Dance, you’re outside of Psychic Terrain, and Kartana is still alive, a very high roll Ice Shard into a very high roll with Kart Sacred Sword will be enough to take you down. In this situation, you do have the option to take a 50/50 and click Morning Sun on their Ice Shard, though this isn’t really worth risking unless they get a max roll with Lele, and even then I wouldn’t recommend it since you still have good odds of surviving Shard + Sword.
If Rotom is alive, click Morning Dance and then Swords Dance before killing it. If Kartana is alive, Morning Sun to full HP before killing it. If both are alive, click Morning Sun, then Swords Dance, then Morning Sun to full. If neither are alive, just tank the hit and nuke it.
OHKO with Flare Blitz.
Morning Sun up on this mon if necessary to survive Sacred Sword + Ice Shard + Hurricane (85% for all 3, 70% for SS + Hurricane, 55% for SS + Shard). If you have enough health, OHKO with Flare Blitz.
+2 Wild Charge OHKOes after Rocks, and if they try to Defog with Tornadus you’re free to get +4 to ensure you still OHKO.

Here, Cablate does all the work. Always lead with Cablate. If it leads with anything other than Tapu Lele, stay. Use Close Combat on Mamoswine, Kartana (who will do a lot but not kill) and Obstagoon, and Plasma Fists on Tornadus. It one-shots them all. If it goes on Rotom , use Swords Dance, then Horn Leech, which will one-shot. If Lele, switch to Tenebrin and either Knock Offor Slack Off.

Cablate @ Leftovers

Here, Cablate does all the work. Always lead with Cablate. If it leads with anything other than Tapu Lele, stay. Use Close Combat on Mamoswine, Kartana (who will do a lot but not kill) and Obstagoon, and Plasma Fists on Tornadus. It one-shots them all. If it goes on Rotom , use Swords Dance, then Horn Leech, which will one-shot. If Lele, switch to Tenebrin and either Knock Offor Slack Off.

Also a couple of announcements:
  • Custom elements can now be distributed to the Fakemon you make! So far, we only have 3 moves and 1 ability, but as time moves on and we get more custom elements, this rule will be very helpful!
  • Also, some of the movepools of our Fakemon are rather barren. If you sub a Fakemon with a small amount of moves, I will ask you to add more moves. If you need inspiration on how to fill up you movepools, take a look at the TRs/TMs and see which ones fit competitively and flavor-wise. Additionally, Petuuuhhh and DuoM2 created this spreadsheet that has the "average" learnsets of each type. It lists the moves that at least 30% of all the Pokemon of each type learn, so you can also use that as inspiration (thanks to Magmajudis for pointing out this issue and DuoM2 for bringing up the spreadsheet).
  • After Slate 7 (next slate), we will be taking a break in order to 1) update the movepools of some of our Fakemon and 2) playtest for and look for anything potentially broken or underpowered.
Speaking of Slate 7, here's the team for next slate! I'll do this from now on so that you all have time to prepare submissions. Don't sub yet, though!

Alright that's all from me. Have a good day!

Most of our teams have been more offensively oriented lately, so we're gonna switch it up this time with a (semi) stall team! This team features most of the bulky threats this genereation (and Garchomp).
A couple reminders: the custom elements we introduced in slate 5 are legal, so use those if you want. Also, make sure your subs have an adequate amount of moves so they don't look weird in the teambuilder. This is gonna be our last slate before the big break, so get in those subs while you can! Submissions will close Saturday, February 6th. Have fun!

Adaptability is good. Even with a somewhat unimpressive base 114 Attack, Lemotic is capable of 2HKOing basically everything that doesn't resist its STAB combination, which includes just about everything on this team - Toxapex, Blissey, Clefable, et cetera. You also come in somewhat safely on Garchomp, although a +2 Scale Shot specifically is somewhat scary if it gets too many hits. It's more likely than not that it doesn't get too many, though. You are hard countered by Corviknight, though, with Knock Off only really being there so you can still make progress against it and beat Shed Shell in matchups where it runs it.

This is where Chemiclysm comes in. This is specifically designed to screw over Corviknight; it barely OHKOs the given spread at +2, it dodges the 4HKO from Body Press even without taking in Leftovers, and it barely outspeeds it as well. Trapping + Setup is very scary so I really don't want this thing to have any way of healing itself aside from items, especially since that would let it break even Blissey with ease (+6 Flash Cannon 2HKOs iirc). You do also stonewall Toxapex and scare most other mons to some extent barring Galarian Slowking which is very nice.

If Mastodent gets a Gravity off, it just kills things until it ends or its health is low enough that it has to switch. Gharialpe easily tanks hits from anything on their team and can keep itself and Mastodent healthy with Wish and Heal Bell, with Wish + Shot ensuring a safe switchin and easy Gravity with Mastodent.
