Bronzor

[OVERVIEW]
  • Bronzor's Steel typing and access to Stealth Rock make it a staple on stall teams.
  • Bronzor provides stall with much-needed entry hazards, a steel type, and a ground immunity.
  • Psywave allows stall teams to break through most Substitute users that they normally struggle with.
  • However, Bronzor's Pyschic typing also leaves it with a brutal weakness to Dark- and Ghost-types on top of its Fire-types weakness and extremely vulnerable to Pursuit trapping from the likes of Skuntank and Spiritomb.
  • Fire-types like Pyroar also absolutely destroy Bronzor, and Knock Off cripples either its bulk or recovery depending on its item

Moves
========

  • Psywave allows Bronzor to deal semi-consistant damage to opposing Pokemon regardless of their bulk. This allows stall teams to quickly break through walls like Regirock and makes sure that Bronzor isn't complete taunt bait
  • Stealth Rock allows Bronzor to become the main hazard setter for the team, allowing other stall staples like Clefairy to run other moves like Knock Off
  • Toxic is Bronzor's main way of dealing damage and whittling down opposing Pokemon
  • Rest gives Bronzor a semi-reliable source of recovery, as the clerics that are a complete necessity on stall teams can rid it of its sleep

Set Details
========

  • Eviolite is the prefered item as it improves Bronzor's bulk significantly and allows it to wall both physical and special attackers more effectively.
  • 252 HP EVs improve Bronzor's overall bulk. In conjuction with 144 Defense EVs, they allow Bronzor to survive important physical hits like a Knock Off from Absol

Usage Tips
========

Describe how to use the Pokemon in question.

Team Options
========
  • Special Walls like Audino and Clefairy can take stronger special attacks for Bronzor, especially Fire-, Dark-, or Ghost-type moves like Pyroar's Fire Blast, Oricorio-Sensu's Revelation Dance, Skuntank's Pursuit, and Sucker Punch from the likes of Spiritomb or Kangaskhan. Clefiary is especially notable since using Bronzor as a Stealth Rock setter allows Clefairy to run other moves like Knock Off
  • Clerics like Audino and Lanturn and Wish Passers like Togedemaru are critical to Bronzor's survival as they can wake it up and keep Bronzor from having to click Rest in the first place with Wish
  • Spikes setters like Froslass and Toxic Spikes setters like Qwilfish and Weezing allow stall teams to deal more hazard damage in conjuction with Bronzor's Steath Rocks or badly poison the opposing Pokemon
  • Bulky fire resists like Regirock, Lanturn, and Altaria are critical to Bronzor's survival. These three are the most optimal, as they all serve secondary roles: Regirock as secondary setter, Lanturn as a cleric, and Altaria as a defogger
  • Dark-type checks that are also useful on stall like Granbull, Clefairy with Moonblast, and Silvally-Fairy help Bronzor avoid powerful dark types like Skuntank and Spiritomb

Other Options
=============

List some options for the Pokemon user that are plausible but not always recommended due to either being not consistent enough or too outclassed by other Pokemon in the metagame.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Knock Off**: Knock Off severely weakens Bronzor by removing the eviolite it depends on to wall important threats like
