Hello, while creating a Pokemon team for gen7 ou I happened to see that I get the "behemoth" moves suggested for my smeargle even trough they don't exist in gen7 yet. Sadly there is no way to show both, the gen you are creating this team for and the suggested moves, so I can't really find a good way to screenshot the situation

If a user's site background is set to "Random" and rolls this special birthday background, a very outdated "Pokemon Showdown Day!" link appears. I don't think it's intended that a several-months-outdated link can appear in the footer at all...

Gen7. Dancer doesn’t activate turn 3 on gardevoir even though it should. As far as I recall dancer activates even behind protect.

Dancer isn't supposed to activate if the original dance move did nothing against its target, and Revelation Dance went into Protect here. It also wouldn't activate if something uses Swords Dance already at +6, etc.

The length of field effects such as screens, weather, and terrain says that it lasts X or Y turns, however, the length of field effects can be checked ingame with the info menu, thus it should never be ambiguous how long field effects will last.

BUG STATUS: NOT A BUG, see Partman's post.

Hello. In the Teambuilder don't appear the move list of Necturna and Malaconda (CAP).

Edit: Okay, I continue looking and the move list of Stratagem, Cyclohm and Voodoom doesn't appear too.

In a gen 8 Metronome Battle team, repeatedly opening the ability section/clicking between Item and Ability eventually causes every ability but Normalize to be sent to Unviable.

Turn 60 onward infestation is normally supposed to do continuous damage for 4-5 turns as the pokemon is trapped. But for some reason when the hydreigon subbed the infestation was no longer doing residual damage. I have no clue if it's a bug of if substitute prevents the residual damage but I couldn't find any information on it online

BUG STATUS: NOT A BUG, as CoolMan6001 says, Substitute prevents the residual damage. (DaWoblefet)

On Turn 12, Togekiss didn't get cured of its Toxic when it uses Heal Bell since it had Soundproof. According to Bulbapedia, this does not apply to Gen 5 and Gen 8. Though I think Bulbapedia could be wrong on that, I recommend someone else to test it.

I can confirm this is how it works in gen 5, but cannot confirm this for gen 8. If someone else could confirm/test that for me that would be great. (HoeenHero)
Can confirm that Soundproof blocks Heal Bell in Gen 8.

I don't believe critical hits are calculated correctly. I used a honchrow with super luck(+1 stage), scope lens(+1 stage) and night slash(+1 stage) yet failed to get a guaranteed critical hit whilst playing national dex. According to some research on bulbapedia here > https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Critical_hit a +3 tier gives you a 100% chance to get a crit from gen 6 onward. Also note for gen 7 onward having no additional tiers lowers the crit chance to just over 4% which may also be an issue.

Gameplay of the "incident is on turn" 12 / 13 > https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen8nationaldex-1123525617

BUG STATUS: NOT A BUG, Torterra had Shell Armor as stated (DaWoblefet)

Shell Armor prevents critical hits.

I'm gonna report that I think I've identified to camouflage bug in gen3. The comments on the source code indicate that Ground is the correct new type in gen 5. I will assume this is true, but in gen3 a link battle should change to Normal type. It seems as though gen3/gen4 simply inherit this behavior from gen5. As mods/gen3/moves.ts simply specifies inherit : True even though the mechanics are different

If you change the gender of a Pokemon or make it shiny in any of the LC teambuilders it makes that mon go from level 5 to 100. Not the biggest deal since you can just change it back yourself but it's still kind of annoying.

wanted to update the bug I stated, it seems that shiny ash-greninja is legal not only in natdex but in gen 7 when it should be illegal, might be safe to assume its legal everywhere
