i understand that but you could have done what i did and tell chocolates "hey my faction that recruited me still wants to work with you. hosts haven't told me yet what i am/am not allowed to convey to you, but the intent is there"

i double-checked because i missed finding your role PM during the game in the original chocolate thread and just found it, which confirms that but iirc on the sheet, i only recalled reading inspect on there, which is what i went by to remember people's roles, rather than going through everyone's role, sorry about that. that was my mistake.
