[SET COMMENTS]
With a great typing and good bulk, Mega Scizor can find opportunities to set up Swords Dance and potentially sweep against the likes of Galarian Slowking, Mega Tyranitar, and Landorus-T. Bullet Punch allows it to cleave through faster threats like Tornadus-T and Darkrai once boosted. Knock Off is an excellent move for punishing switch-ins such as Heatran, Zapdos, and Toxapex by removing crucial items like Leftovers and Heavy-Duty Boots. U-turn is another solid choice, as it keeps Mega Scizor's momentum against threats like Toxapex and Heatran while forming a VoltTurn core alongside teammates like Rotom-W and Raging Bolt. Close Combat is great for handling irritating Steel-types like Heatran, Archaludon, and Ferrothorn. Roost is needed in order for Mega Scizor to more consistently check Pokemon like Tapu Lele, Mega Tyranitar, and Mega Lopunny. The given defensive EVs allow Mega Scizor to always avoid a 2HKO from Mega Lopunny's Close Combat after Stealth Rock, while 20 Speed EVs let it outspeed uninvested Heatran. This set can be used on balanced and bulky offense teams alike. Due to its hard time with Fire-types like Heatran and Gouging Fire, Mega Scizor pairs well with Rotom-W, Landorus-T, and Heatran. Pokemon like Great Tusk, Darkrai, and Ogerpon-W also appreciate Mega Scizor's ability to take hits from the likes of revenge killers like Tapu Lele, Iron Valiant, and Mega Lopunny. More defensive teams value its ability to take on non-Swords Dance Gliscor, which is usually troublesome for those structures. In return, Pokemon like Toxapex, Alomomola, and Heatran resist incoming Fire-type moves. Entry hazard setters like Heatran, Garchomp, Ting-Lu, and Garganacl benefit greatly from Mega Scizor's Knock Off removing Heavy-Duty Boots from foes like Moltres and Zapdos. In return, their hazards damage those switch-ins, making it easier for Mega Scizor to break through over time. Mega Scizor can also struggle with Skarmory and Corviknight, so teammates such as Zapdos and Raging Bolt can take care of them.
