Buzzwole @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Roost
- Drain Punch
- Ice Punch
- Toxic/Dual Wingbeat

This buzzwole set is used to wall a lot of physical mons like urshifu-ss and landoT. Drain punch allows it to heal a decent amount of hp while attacking ,roost is for reliable recovery, Ice punch compliments Drain Punch and toxic allows you to punish mons trying to switch in like tapu lele.
Dual Wingbeat is here to hit other buzzwole.

:buzzwole:Bulk Up
Buzzwole @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 96 HP / 252 Atk / 160 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Bulk Up
- Poison Jab/Ice Punch/Iron Head
- Drain Punch
- Roost

This set is supposed to sweep bulkier teams, this spread allows buzzwole to outspeed tran and speed creep fini by 3 points and retain a lot of bulk allowing it to still check urshifu and a lot of other physical attackers. For coverage you can do Poison Jab to hit fairy types or ice punch to hit ground types.

I think that Buzzwole can be a nice Scarfer and a nice tank (i.e. with Substitute+Bulk Up), but what really hold it back is its trollish base 79 Spe (many Scarfers have at least base 80 Spe).

Potential movesets:
  • Choice Scarf
  • Choice Band (although no U-turn hurts)
  • Substitute+Bulk Up + dual STAB combo with Leech Life to recharge its hp

I think that Buzzwole can end as a low B-class or a C-class pokemon.

that last one seems gimmicky as if you face a flying type your gonna get worn down really fast and also genesect is in the tier so idk why you would use the choice sets.

I think that Genesect will leave the OU environment soon alongside with a lot of other pokèmons.
I don't think how Genesect can be only OU material (it clearly belongs to the Uber environment).

The Substute + Bulk Up set can be an option once the metagame takes shape as a stallbreaker set. My opinion, of course.
