Heatran can utilize the combination of Magma Storm + Sunny Day + Solar Beam to become an effective trapper in BW OU. Sunny Day + Solar Beam allows Heatran to eliminate checks that are trapped by Magma Storm such as Politoed, Seismitoad, and Gastrodon; notably, this also allows Heatran to win the weather war against Politoed. Earth Power enables Heatran to threaten opposing Heatran, Excadrill, and Magnezone and serves as its best way to damage Tyranitar. It is recommended that Heatran is paired with Water-resistant partners such as Rotom-W, Jellicent, and Celebi, as Heatran may fail to trap its targets due to Magma Storm's poor accuracy. Tyranitar is also a fantastic partner, able to negate rain with sand and serve as a secondary check to Psychic-types such as Alakazam and Reuniclus that can overpower Heatran.

Mention Rotom-W as a partner as it fits with it a lot (teams with Air Balloon Heatran tend to avoid removal, which Celebi mandates and Jellicent want, so Rotom-W is usually a go-to Water resist on these structures due to Spike immunity) instead of or on top of Celebi and Jellicent in that sentence depending on what you can fit. It's the most likely partner of the three.

Technically the set should have HP Ice slashed behind Earth Power given the lack of Earth Power targets right now, but I'm assuming it was planned to be kept this way, so this analysis of the set presented is fantastic otherwise. GJ, 1/1 with the edit
