Sabrina's ace shakes up BW OU with its telekinetic powers! A wide array of coverage and utility moves, remarkable Special Attack, and an invaluable Speed tier make Alakazam a premier offensive Pokemon. Psyshock is generally the preferred STAB move for more damage against specially defensive Politoed, Tentacruel, Calm Mind Keldeo, and Quiver Dance Volcarona. Hidden Power Ice nails Gliscor, Dragonite, and Latios, while Focus Blast smacks Tyranitar, Ferrothorn, and Excadrill. Focus Sash compensates for Alakazam's frailty, and Magic Guard is exceptional to preserve it through the tier's omnipresent sand and entry hazards. Notably, Focus Sash makes Alakazam a safety net against setup sweepes, as it securely revenge kills them or cripples them with Encore. Encore also shuts down its sturdy defensive checks, like Reuniclus and Chansey. Since this set doesn't run Signal Beam, Alakazam appreciates Tyranitar's Pursuit to dispatch bulky Psychic-types such as Reuniclus and Celebi. Spikes from Ferrothorn and Skarmory is mandatory, as it can easily chip the likes of Heatran, Tyranitar, and Jirachi.

Generally Psyshock is more common than Psychic on Alakazam, so if you're not glued to the specific set, I'd simply slash the two with Psyshock in front. This is a pretty major detail for Alakazam as it gets the KO on Tentacruel, does more to Rotom-Wash, and assures more damage vs CM Keldeo, SDef Politoed, and Quiver Dance Volcarona.

Rest is fine although I would say that Spikes are virtually mandatory with Alakazam, so maybe emphasize that a bit more.

Since it this set (if you meant like "zam, unlike other psychic types, doesnt run signal beam, or something different, pls clarify) doesn't run Signal Beam, Alakazam appreciates Tyranitar's Pursuit to help dispatch off bulky Psychic-types such as Reuniclus and Celebi. Spikes from Ferrothorn and Skarmory are also highly is (optional: "is also mandatory" plus change prior sentence to "...Alakazam requires Tyranitar's Pursuit..." mandatory, as it can easily chip the likes of Heatran, Tyranitar, and Jirachi.
