Female dear, and beta cause opposite of alpha.

Pronunciation: El-kark

An elk is a quadrupedal mammal with antlers, and an arc is the electric bridge between two connection points, such as CAP25g's antlers.

It's a combination of an animal association and a common form of electricity.

I chose "Thunder" over lightning because I think an electric deer Pokemon's hooves would sound like thunder when it runs.

Pronounced: "FAIR-uh-boo"

The farad is the unit of capacitance, the ability of a capacitor to store charge, and makes a fun pun with Caribou. It comes from Faraday, an influential scientist in electromagnetism.

Currently going with "am-pare-ih-boo" as the pronunciation, since the reading is more intuitive than "am-peer-ih-boo," but am open to changing it.
