Saharascal, the Vagabond Pokémon

Sword: It distracts larger opponents by walking with an unsteady gait to feign weakness, then kicks a cloud of sand into the eyes of its foes before escaping.

Shield: When they are old enough to walk, Saharascal are left to fend for themselves in harsh desert environments. This causes them to develop a crafty personality.

Shiny Palette Rules

• Shiny palettes must be submitted as palette swaps of the winning sprite entry. No other modifications to the image may be made.
• Colors in a shiny palette must have the same relative hue and brightness compared to the corresponding color on the original sprite.

No more than three WIP shiny palettes can be posted by any individual person through the entire course of the submission thread.

Final Submission Post

All artists must make a final submission post conforming to the shiny palette rules (listed above) and the following:

• The post must have "Final Submission" (in bold) as the first line, with the sprites at the top, and any additional description or comments (if applicable) below them.
• The final submission image must be hosted on a reliable image hosting service (such as Smogon forums or Imgur). Do not use the 'Attach a photo' tool on messaging apps (e.g. Discord). Do not use Iaza or Ezimba.
• Only make one (1) final submission post.

No inspiring idea like Saharaja. Just a palette with mostly cool colors.

WIP 1

Inspired by the Saharaja shiny, I gave it darker fur, purple sash/hat, and pink sand.

WIP 2

Identical to WIP 1, except with white sand instead of pink, since normally Saharaja's diamond is not the same color as Saharascal's sand.

If shiny Saharaja is Jafar, then it's only natural that this little guy should be Iago!
I have made it my mission to immortalize Gilbert Gottfried in CAP, no matter the cost.

WIP 1/3

This color scheme uses cooler blues and black sand - more similar in "vibes" to a shoreline than an arid desert.
WIP 2/3

This color scheme doesn't really change much about the main body, instead opting to change the reds of the hat and scarf to a cool blue and changing the sand and headdress to black.
WIP 3/3

This dark and cool color palette retains a similar color to Saharaja's shiny, with enough differences to make them stand out a bit more.

Made the hair a bit sandier-looking to convey the feeling of a careless child, made its hooves and fur darker to make it seem more like it doesn't care if it gets dirty, also made its purple stuff a different shade and the turban thing is also a bit dirtier (had to post final separately)

Now updated with the main sprite's revisions, as well as a golden headdress and lighter scarf/fez!
Fitting with shiny Saharaja being based off of Jafar, this guy is based off of Iago. Long live Gilbert Gottfried!

I mentioned this on 'cord but just in case, Saharascal's back sprite has been updated to include hoof shading and fixes to the tail to better match the front sprite. Be sure to use the updated sprites in the OP when making your final subs, which end in about a day! (Sorry for the last minute fix btw, been busy '-.-)
