CAP 35 - Art Submissions

This here is the design I'm happiest with for 35. This design is an electric Banana Slug squashed in a little astronaut snail shell suit and covered in a blanket. Its eye-stalks and live wire mouth are meant to resemble a night light as well. His vibe is supposed to resemble a little kid "going downstairs to get a glass of water at midnight" while also being a brave little astronautical explorer.

Have not drawn in a second so it came out a little shakyor should I say snaky
The idea is that it's a Normal-type mouse that uses its long tails to control the Electric-type snake, who is made up of a couple cords. It can lose control sometimes in which the snake tries to eat the mouse, hence the uphill battle.

Hamster is a racer now. Also different spark ball designs with either single big stars or many tiny ones.
I also had an idea for a different design themed around a sponge. This one's based on a weird sea sponge called the ping-pong tree sponge:
Features initial sketches and a few suggestions from Discord to make it more wall-like. Not sure if I should stick with hamster or sponge though.

Ok so forgive me for yet another idea change but I decided to go in this direction for a couple reasons. Man o' war and Clock were good ideas for a Pokemon on paper but for a Normal/Electric type they didn't make as much sense as I had envisioned. So I went digging again and found that a ring-tailed lemur would be a great fit aesthetically! I feel like a lot of this will be kept in the final design, the tail is still a WIP but I like how big it is. The belly is similar to Bellibolt's (Electromorphosis). Hope y'all like this guy :)

Design inspo:
The design is based on Galloway Cows and Tesla Coils, with a hint of bullfrog.
Other inspiration was static charged hair and the Symbol for Electric Resistance Ω.
The color and long fur is inspired by the iconic cow breed, which has great similarity with the color of copper wires used in electrical circuits.
The wide mouth is a characteristic I stole from frogs. It’s a bullfrog get it!?
The round spikey shape is a result of the hair fur being raised due to static.
The rubbery toes and horns insulate the body to increase the charge, when moving.
The charge between its horns is active, similar to designs such es Toctricity, Regieleki or Miraidon.

I went for a more abstract object mon based on plastic action figures with rigid ball joints, with particular visual inspiration and shapes derived from Superhero Action Figures and Gundams.
The battery visuals were chosen to give it a large bulky body with ball joints connecting them.

Weird update, but I redesigned the mouse part to more resemble generic rodent mons. DW the snake will still be there. The pink lines are the tails that it uses to control the snake if that's not clear.

It's some sort of mitochondrial extension cord creature. It would like to hide in its protective casing to charge and defend itself, but its neck has grown too long for it to retract itself inward, so it must get hit head on and be forced inside, representing both electromorphosis and the uphill battle the creature must face to perform its job as a wall effectively.
